I love this place! First of all, the facility is very clean, modern, and comfortable. They can adjust the lights and music in each massage room which makes for a very unique and comfortable experience. All the staff I have interacted with have been very kind and flexible. Chris is the best massage therapist, I highly recommend him from the other therapists. Chris is great because he has a great knowledge of the practices they do at the facility. He can explain the reason for every technique he uses and has good reasons for the techniques he uses. I have had bad neck and upper back pain and stiffness that other therapy places have not had any idea what to do with. Chris confidently approached my neck and back pain and has significantly improved my range of motion and pain in a matter of weeks. At the front desk I have always interacted with Toni who is incredibly kind and helpful. Toni will always respectfully and patiently answer any questions about memberships and rates you have. I would recommend doing the monthly or annual membership as it can save you a lot of money, and you can cancel at anytime. I cannot say enough great things about Massage Matters, I started about a year ago for what I thought would be just another nice relaxing massage for my birthday, and a year later I'm continuing regular therapy with my fantastic therapist Zach. Zach is not only friendly, personable and professional but he is extremely knowledgeable about the body, he understands and educates you how to improve its everyday function. From the first appointment he took time to consult with me about what was most important to me and what I'd like to get out of the session, we discussed my problem areas and since then we have been progressing to a healthier me. As a nurse who works bedside I'm consistently on my feet, my posture has suffered tremendously and this therapy has made me much more body aware during my long shifts. I'm really glad I gave this place a try. They do an excellent job on sanitizing everything and is a safe place even during these Covid times. Their facility is really clean and just the nicest massage therapy facility I've been to. The staff is very nice and so was my therapist Alex. Alex really knows his stuff, he is an expert and not only does he do a phenomenal job loosening up my muscles and releasing tension but also educates you on the need for a recovery technique. You can tell he is very passionate about his work and cares about helping his clients to feel better. My job is very physical I work 6 days a week and do boxing training 6 days a week as well so I was really in need for some massage therapy. Really love this massage place. Front desk staff is quick and the masseuses are excellent. Would highly recommend Zach because his deep tissue work has really helped with my rock climbing and surfing. I learned about Massage Matters after going to an expo. Little did I know what an amazing gem this place is! I made an appointment for a massage for that same weekend. When I got to my appointment I was notified that the therapist I was scheduled with would not be the therapist I'd see I was disappointed. The initial disappointment at the change did not last long. When Daisy began the massage I immediately knew Massage Matters was no ordinary place. This is not a Burke Williams spa experience. This is not a Massage Envy experience. The name says it all, because massage truly does matter at this establishment. I am like Goldilocks with my massage experience: not too hard, not too soft. However, my massage with Daisy blew all my previous massages out of the water. She suggested cupping to alleviate the tension that had been built up on my neck and shoulders. I felt such a difference in how I left. After my second massage I have become such a fervent supporter and believer in the high quality of massage here. Their customer service goes above and beyond. Omg!!!! I am amazed by this place. I have had many massages in my life but, I have never had one like this before. The therapist was super friendly and professional. As a chronic pain patient, I cannot express my gratitude to Massage Matters enough. I have had both in home services with Korey and last week I went for my first service at the clinic with Alex. First of all, the interior is so inviting and relaxing. You're offered tea or coffee while you wait. Once Alex took me back for my massage, he showed me the different tools he could use to enhance the massage. I had never done cupping before, and opted to try it. It was amazing!! I was even able to choose what kind of music I wanted to listen to. The massage beds are heated if you so desire, which is a nice luxury. Even though the massage was only an hour, I definitely felt like it was longer and didn't feel rushed. My problem areas were addressed and little over a week later, I still feel better than I did before the massage. I ended up getting their membership and will be coming every 2 weeks. Best massage I've ever gotten! The pressure was exactly what I wanted and she really worked out all the knots in my back and shoulders. She used techniques that I've never had done before which really helped get rid of back pain and tight muscles I had prior to the massage.
