Most massage therapists can't go deep but these ladies are strong and then they walk on your back which gives the pressure I like. One thing I don't care for is that it seems that they have a routine of massage and don't really work the place I want them to so I have to remind them of my problem area so they give it more attention. When you make an appointment with them, they will text you reserved stalls that you can park in as sometimes the visitor stalls are taken up which is nice that you don't have to worry about it. Overall this place is clean and the people are friendly and it's a fair price which is why I have come here multiple times.

I don't know if I described everything correctly or even with the correct names but, it was amazing!! I just live a couple blocks away and wish I could do this every month. I have been here before and even wrote a review on how good my experience was. I would recommend this place to people all the time..but today I went back and received the worst massage I've ever received. As well as terrible customer service. I got a 60 minute full body couple massage, with hot stones included, same thing I got the first time we came. But this time it was rushed, kept "massaging" the same places over and over and not to mention they mixed up our add ins. I received oil instead of tiger balm. That's fine mix ups happen. It was a full body massage but instead I got a 45 minute painful back massage fighting back tears and 15 minutes of rushed service on my legs. Didn't even touch my feet. Oh and the hot stones were used for maybe 2 minutes out of the entire service. Then when we went to go pay the person at the front desk didn't ask how it went. Just asked how much we would like to tip and then when we responded, she laughed and told us to tip more. Overall a terrible experience, will not be going back. read more

So, I recently tried out the combo massage deal at Massage Palace. 30 minutes for the feet and 40 minutes for the body. The foot massage wasn't bad, but the background noise was distracting, and they didn't bother to check if the pressure was okay. As for the body massage, it fell short. They mainly focused on my shoulders, completely neglecting my lower back. Plus, I barely got a minute of attention for my head, neck, and arms. If you're into hardcore elbow massages for your back, this might be your spot, but personally, it just left me feeling more irritated than relaxed. read more

I was sexually assaulted here by a male masseuse. When I said I wanted to be done early i had to argue with him and he didn't speak much English. Then a woman speaking another language came to the outside of the curtain and said something then he left. When I went out to the cashier I shared with her what happened and began to cry. She said that he was REPORTED BEFORE. So why was he still working there? DO NOT GO HERE. The people running it keep employees that have been reported to assault clients. Went for an unexpected great massage from Gary today and it was fantastic. I didn't realize how much pain I was in and Gary definitely worked out all the kinks. I would highly recommend him as a therapist. My friend and I are both retired therapist who was just walking around Ala Moana. Hoala Spa was full so I told her let's go downstairs and see if they have an opening as she was in pain. Her therapist was Andy. I've been there and their Ala Moana locations, and found not all masseuse are the same, and thus always try to book ahead of time, and not walk in as I'm particular about the service I receive. As a customer who usually tips almost 40% you would think they would take care of your customers. This was a big turn off, and unprofessional. I tried booking again with the therapist who I favored, and now told she has gone back to the mainland (Weird as I was told she was off just a few days before.) I guess I have to find another massage place to give my business to.

When we redeemed our gift cards, tax was included! We tipped with cash after we were done. We both walked in, after parking in the front. There's a small, free parking lot. It's located across from the Convention Center. The same woman at the front desk was polite, efficient, and friendly! We used the restroom first, and got seated next to each other in the dimly lit communal room. The combo deal (body and foot massage) started with a warm water foot soak while our upper bodies were massaged. Later, we laid face down on the padded table, then turned over and got a scalp massage. My therapist was very strong. I felt like my back was bruised... haha! When my legs were hurting, I was able to move my leg away from the pressure. It wasn't easy to move away from the back massage. I guess I could have yelled out, but I thought that my back was probably tight and needed loosening up? Well... it was an educational experience. It's not really a relaxing type of massage, but I think I did nod off a little... here and there...

I only knew the place existed because I pass it nearly every day on Kapi'olani. I'm assuming they had re-located from a different address. As soon as I saw the sign go up, I was intrigued. The windows are all covered up with shades so my husband and I immediately joked that it was probably a front for another type of "business." Over time, I noticed that newer reviews started rolling into their Google Map page. One of the reviews indicated that our joke was not far from the truth, but it was one negative review out of dozens of positive reviews. I decided to check them out today since I was in need of a massage. I called 15 minutes in advance and told me to come in. When I arrived, I tried to open the double doors that appear to be the front entrance. However, the doors were locked. Just as I was about to give them a call, I heard the door unlocking and then eventually opened up. It turned out those doors lead to their employees' area; the front entrance is actually towards the back where the parking lot is. Because I live nearby, I had walked over and I wasn't even aware that there was a parking lot behind that set of buildings. Asian-owned massage places are a dime a dozen in Honolulu, and I've tried about 10 places so far. But that's only because I have a regular place that I like and keep going back to, so they remain my standard. Unfortunately, the massage I got just did not meet my standards. The technique that the therapist used was a mix of everything: Swedish, deep tissue, Thai, stretching, and she even used her nails at one point. Although they have reflexology listed on their price menu, what I got was just a foot massage. Albeit, a good foot massage. The best part of the entire massage was when she worked on my feet and calves. It felt like she had found every single little muscle in my foot and worked out all the kinks. Based on my own experience and reviews from other folks, I recommend this place for foot massages!
