First time here and man wish I knew about this place sooner! My shoulder and back had been locked up and in pain for a while just utilizing my theracane to maintain it but today really needed some therapy to it. I was looking for a quick body tune up and found massage palace where they offered 30 min massages. I thought it was going to be on a bent over massage chair but they had these really cool reclining chairs that turned into a lie down bed massage. It was an open space where they have multiple of these set ups but it's a very calm and relaxing atmosphere. I asked for shoulder and back to be worked on and my massage therapist knew what he was doing. He found all the knots along my scapula and loosened up my back. I am definitely coming back here whenever my body needs some maintenance, highly recommend to others especially if you're looking for deep tissue muscle recovery. Shoulders and back mobility has improved drastically after this one session. Excited for the next visit! read more

This was my first time at this place. It was excellent. The chairs were so comfortable and the massages of the foot and full body for exactly what I needed with great pressure. I love that you don't need to strip down so you get to spend the full-time getting a massage instead of part of it waiting around. Great places and easy availability. A previous Yelper's review said her young nephew could give a better massage. I don't know her or her nephew but she's probably right! I've been to similar foot massage places on the mainland and in China, and never left feeling anything less than satisfied. I don't mind the large communal massage room and I like the strong, deep pressure. But like some big mainland retailers, this place isn't going to deliver for the good people of Hawaii. When I arrived, the receptionist offered oils for an extra $5 as an add on to my $60 foot/body massage, I was all about it. Treat Yo Self!!! I was even more excited when they had a Tiger Balm oil. For the love of Tiger Balm, just say no! Remember that you will be full clothed so you won't fully enjoy it. The oil only came into play after my foot massage. The guy just kinda dabs it on, barely rubs it in and done. Same with the body massage. Massage done and here's some for your shoulders. The draping was awkward. Even the towel that's usually folded into an eye mask was left open on my head. The pressure was light but would improve a bit if one of the other workers walked by. The guy would just say "pain" or "okay" at random times but didn't seem to know what either of those words meant. Worst of all, I didn't even get a back massage. Yes, I didn't flip over on to my stomach at all. It was just a shoulder and stomach rub basically with some reaching down/around to my back. No elbows at all! So when the "masseuse" told me the massage was done, I assumed the $60 combo just didn't include a back massage. On my way up to the register, I see another patron face down. I asked which massage is that? No answer. We get to the register and I asked the receptionist. She looked confused and says, "That's the same one you had." "No, I didn't roll over onto my stomach." She then says something to him and he answers. Her translation, "Oh, he said you were just lying down." Well, isn't it his job to tell me when to roll over? But no apology from either of them, and the receptionist didn't seem surprised at his reply. There isn't any management doing quality control or to handle customer service issues. That's probably why so many people complain of their massage times getting cut short. It's just the Wild West of meh massages. At least I got some snacks? Seriously, buy your own snacks and find somewhere else to get a decent massage! read more

I've been to this place twice with my husband. The first time we arrived just after they opened for a 30-min foot and 40-min body massage. No one else was there, but they did seem a little unorganized. They also sat us in the front row of chairs, and all the sounds (background music, bird sounds and water sounds) were a bit much for me to fully relax, but both of our massages were wonderful. The second time we went was Labor Day (no reservation, about 4 pm). We chose the special- 40-min foot and 50-min body massage. Almost every seat was full (luckily we didn't have to wait). We had two women. The massages were okay. The woman was strong, as I had asked, but she seemed to just gloss over my shoulders and upper back, which is where I most wanted a massage. Overall I am satisfied with my visits here and plan to go again. The prices are very reasonable (check their Facebook and the back of Safeway receipts for specials and coupons!) and all but one of the staff (at the front desk when they were busy) were very friendly. The chairs you sit in for foot massages recline all the way flat for the body massage. They have a stamp card (I'm not quite sure what you get when it's full but they'll write the names of the people who gave you a massage so next time I can call and make a reservation with the first two gentleman we had). And the location at Ala Moana is also convenient. A solid four stars. read more

I would not recommend coming here. I had a massage by a older guy who reeked of smoke. His hands were extremely smoky stink. I wish they would have asked me if I was okay with a smoker massage person because if I had known that I would have either all together not have came here for a massage or could have been a whole different experience than the one that I got (with a no smelly hands person). I felt so disgusted that after that, I wanted to go straight home to shower. If you want a good massage go elsewhere. My massage person also spoke no english, which was not comforting at all. Also, he touched my face with his stinky, smoky hands. I did not ask for a massage where anyone was gonna touch my face was supposed to be neck and shoulders. The Good: They were able to take me in quickly Smells and looks clean Great location in the mall The Bad Massage listed as 70 minutes but finish in about 55 minutes Person could not speak or understand basic massage English e.g. could I have it stronger? Bad massage in general. E.g. not being able to ask how strong. Overall not a good experience. I recommend learning the basic English for massage communication and also try to create a rating system for your workers to improve and to be consistent. I dont think you will be in business too long if you continue to operate in this manner. read more

This place was really a gem of a find. After passing this place several times, my friend and I decided to go in and give it a try. (We were actually on our way to another massage place.). But we were immediately welcomed into Massage Palace. Everyone was so friendly. The atmosphere was so calming and inviting. Immediately, we were seated in a big comfy reclining chair and given water. Our massage started with a neck and head massage and then our feet was soaked in a milk bath for a few minutes. Then we had a 30 minute foot massage, followed by a 40 minute body massage. I was sooooo relaxed afterwards. We ended the massage with a snack of our Choice. This has been one of the best massages I have had. Granted, it is not in a spa environment, but for the price, this was perfect! I would definitely return here! read more
