Took my vehicle here to have the exhaust worked on. When picking up the vehicle my car had massive scratches, and dent on the front end. Talked with owner to get security camera footage and they only have "live feed" and will not take responsibility for the damages. This cars paint is corrected and has no scratches anywhere till I brought it here. Would give it a 0 star review if I could. DO NOT RECOMMEND! read more

My wife and I purchased some tires for my 2000 Prism back in 2018. We chose Complete because the price was decent but they offered lifetime free tire rotation. We have used this service throughout the tires duration and have never had any issues. This year we needed to have them rotated and we were told the Cottleville location does the rotations now, okay no problem. I made the appointment and got the car in. About 45 minutes later one of the guys behind the counter (didn't get his name) says uhh you got a real problem you need to get taken care of. He takes me out into the garage and shows me where there's some old oil around the valve cover. He says he can have the valve cover gasket part sent in and while the cover is off they'd change the spark plugs it would only take about an hour to have the part sent and job finished and that it would be $300!! For an hour job. It didn't feel right and so I called my dad to see what he thought as I really don't know much about cars. He said unless it was leaving spots of oil I shouldn't need to do it. We checked and the parts including the four spark plugs cost about $70. There's like 6 or 8 bolts to take the cover off to change it. So does CAC charge $230 an hour for repairs? Ok well I didn't say anything to the guy about all this I just said I was going to wait on the job, no big deal. 5 minutes rolls around and suddenly the car that looked finished when I was in the garage now had a broken wheel lug nut stud and it was going to cost me $60.53. The whole thing just felt wrong, I understand you have to make money but people are struggling and this whole situation just felt like I was broke down in the backwoods of some little dishonest town being taken advantage of. Complete Automotive Rep/Mechanic was very friendly and they were super easy to make an appointment with. I went in for a muffler repair and it was done in only an hour! When I went in to pick up my vehicle I was surprised at how unbelievably fair the prices were. These guys definitely take the anxiety out of getting work done then getting hit with a crazy rate for the job done. Thanks for being so amazingly fair & honest. I took my car there after it had died once. Was driving fine when I left it there just asked them to see if they could figure out why it had died. They had my car for two weeks. During that time they never once called me with an update. I called there several times. When I picked it up it didn't even make it home. Shakes so bad it can't be driven. I called complete auto to try and get a rough quote on a complete custom exhaust for my late model sedan. I explained that it was rear ended and sounded terrible due to damages and I didn't want to drive it up there unless I had a rough idea of the cost and time-frame needed for my desired specifications. The guy I was talking to replied in an annoyed and short tone stating that he wasnt going to tell me anything without looking at it and to call back Monday to talk to Tom. Me, realizing I was being blown off said, "Ok, Thanks for nothing I'll call someone else. " I called mineke. While the friendly guy at mineke was giving me the exact answers that I wanted, the guy from complete auto ACTUALLY CALLED ME BACK and left a message. "THANKS FOR NOTHING, HAHA!!" Really!? Are you 12? I called him back and confronted him about his message and he tried to back-pedal when I told him I was leaving his business a negative review. If there was a negative 5 that's what this shit hole would get. I am on the side of the highway in a truck that's overheating that I just picked up from the shop yesterday. It has been in the shop since December 2014 I get it out for one day and something else goes wrong. Tom has fed me lie after lie about what he has fixed and replaced, first it was the transmission fixed that got it out and it was over heating took it back and 7 weekends now I have picked it back up just to break down 100 miles later. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLES TO THIS LOCATION, it will be worse when you pick it up than it was when you dropped it off!! read more

10/16/18 - I made the appointment at Complete Automotive & Custom Exhaust to have exhaust replaced on 11/2. I was asked if I needed it back the same day. I said that I did, and was told that it should be possible with an early drop-off. 11/1/18 - Dropped off vehicle in the evening so they'd have it all day on 11/2. On the night drop envelope I asked for pricing on shocks and a right upper ball joint while it was there. 11/2/18 - I called to inquire around 2pm to see if it'd be done, or if they had any pricing, as I'd asked them to call me before spending money. Was told everyone was at lunch and I'd need to wait. Rec'd their call just before 5p with pricing on exhaust only. Authorized exhaust repair, but had to remind them about the other work I requested pricing on. 11/3/18 - Knew they closed around noon. Called around 10:30a to ask that the vehicle get locked because I forgot I had tools in the back. I was assured by "Paul" that they lock vehicles, but that mine spent last night inside the garage. I was told the vehicle wouldn't get finished that day. 11/5/18 - Received their call just before noon to give me pricing on shocks and ball joints. I re-authorized the exhaust work, but declined shocks and ball joints. 11/6/18 - Called around 4p to see if vehicle would be completed. Was told "tomorrow morning". 11/7/18 - Received call from Paul at 9:46a. The Durango was finished. Went to pick up mid-afternoon, and discovered that the muffler was replaced, but not the exhaust pipe. It was their opinion that the original, 2003 pipe was still in good shape, but this wasn't discussed with me at any point beforehand. One could argue that Complete Automotive & Custom Exhaust was acting in my interest by not selling me items I might have wanted but didn't need. I feel like the pricing was fair, but the communication and turnaround were terrible. I made the appointment more than 2 weeks in advance, and it took 4.5 business days to replace a muffler. read more
