If I could give this restaurants no stars I would... last night was our first time in this restaurant and our last time! We ordered an appetizer, steak dinners and glass of wine each. Towards the end my boyfriend drinking his red wine half way thru notices something floating towards the bottom of glass. The waitress and him pulled it out with a fork to see what it was exactly.... it was a dime piece of metal!!!!! He almost swallowed metal! We asked to speak with the manager, she comes over with a stank face on, like "what do you expect me to do?" And we asked what was her protocol. At first all she did was apologize, then I got upset. Really? Just apology? I asked her to talk to the owner. She came back with my credit card already rang for dinner and all she did was take off his glass of wine..... WOW. Food was average, servings were ample. That would be acceptable, but the staff was anything but friendly and enthusiastic. The guy that was doing the flambe' dish that says "OPA" gave the most pathetic "opa's"! Absolutely zero enthusiasm, and acted like to be anywhere but there. Not one single member of the wait staff smiled. The Host at the door, did not smile and definitely was not welcoming. This place is excellent! Great prices. Great food. Family friendly. I got the land and sea (lamb and salmon). It's my favorite dish. The greatest thing about this restaurant is that everyone remembers your name. I met the owners and their wives. They are all very sweet and welcoming. The last few times I went, the service was on point. No matter how busy they appear to be, your food comes out hot, drinks on time and just overall great experience. Bring your family. Not fine dining by any means but if you're looking for a perfectly cooked filet and a great waitstaff, this is the place for you.

A fairly consistent choice. The Chicken Picante was good. The Swordfish Picante was good. The Prime Rib was good (needed more auJus) , but not as rare as requested. Te fish and chips were good. The Soups were an issue - the seafood chowder was potato soup, a touch of clam flavor and no seafood. The master's seafood chowder used to be an item to rave about. What happened. The ala-cart Gazpacho soup was unlike any Gazpacho soup I have ever seen - it was chunky and seamed more like salsa than soup. Service was good. Bread was good. I did not have my usual favorite the Walnut encrusted Pickerel. read more

Just left the Mothers Day dinner. VERY disappointed. Easy enough to make a reservation, but was reminded that the next reservation for that table was for one and half hours later - odd but ok - enough time for a nice lunch. Had my slow moving 88 mom with us and were meeting our son/ wife/ baby - first time parents so of course a few minutes late. They had a hard time parking - still ok. The manager was VERY rude - reminding us very shortly after we sat down that there was another reservation for that table in 1 1/2 hours. I was embarrased and my mom became anxious. Everyone arrived a few minutes after reservation time, but in that timeframe, the manager made it a point to walk past, shake his head, and speak to the hostess pointing at us and shaking his head before walking away. We ordered appetizers because we felt pressured, which were good. Then when we were ready to order our server was missing in action. About 10 minutes later she appeard, we ordered, our food came in a reasonable timeframe, but was cool to touch. We did not dare complain or send it back because of course we were on a time limit! We did not dare to order dessert - afraid to be scolded ! My mom was so anxious she ate very little, and kept saying ' we need to go '. We eventually vacated the table with 8 mintes to spare - finishing our drinks standing up because we were getting the evil eye. This was previously a good choice for a nice lunch - we will not be going back at all. While i understand mothers day is very busy - not the way to handle customer service ! Shame on them for spoiling the day!!! read more

I went to the Masters for a friend's birthday yesterday and was quite pleased with the dining experience. I ordered the chicken kabob with rice and tomatoes and it was very good. The only thing I would suggest is that the nutritional information on at least some dishes be provided, even if only on the website as do many restaurants. I am dieting and it would have been nice to know what dishes had, say, less than 500 calories. As it was, I could only assume that I was doing right by ordering the chicken kabob, but even then I only ate half of the portion served to be sure. The serving size though did allow for that and I did not leave hungry as the meal did also include a salad. In all though, very satisfied with the meal, the service, and the price. read more

i have visited this restaurant at least 12 times in the past year. The food is pretty good but what draws me back is the quiet atmosphere and the great staff. Not crazy about the seafood dishes. Best meals I have found to be the steak and chicken dishes. The upstairs is generally pretty quiet providing a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy dinner. read more

My coworker and I eat eat here often and love it! The food is great and inexpensive for the quality. We reccomend the chicken nachos, french dip sandwiches, greek salads, fruit and vegetable (fresh!) appetizer. We love the hostess Anna- so friendly! We had our wedding reception here three years ago. Kula and her staff are amazing! She took care of everything we needed. The food was excellent, and the price fit our budget nicely. Great place for parties. I gave a bridal shower here today that could not have been nicer. It was very pretty and elegant and all of our guests were impressed. Patty, Amanda and Lorna could not have been more accommodating and were some of the nicest staff I have encountered in a while. You should consider this a must for your next event. I wanted to try a family run restaurant that we'd never been to before, so we ended up at the Masters a few weeks ago. I was skeptical when we went in and a bit confused by the decor, but I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. Their menu was a mix of traditional American and Italian dishes with a nice selection of unique appetizers and fresh fish.We were seated upstairs which was relatively quiet with candle lit tables. The waitress was very attentive and even though we are a couple in our 20's who were dressed casually, we were treated with the upmost respect. The food presentation was impressive - my husband got their porkchops with applesauce and they baked and hallowed out an apple to put the homemade apple sauce in which was a nice touch. My salmon was seasoned and baked to perfection, something I rarely get! The portions were generous but not overwhelming. I found their prices to be affordable for the quality of food you received. It was a weekend and they had a live singer with a keyboard, which was a bit cheesy but some of the older couples seemed to really enjoy it. The bar area downstairs was well stocked and looked like it could be a fun place on a game day. We will be making this our date night stop again soon and reccomending it to our friends. read more

These guys are phenomenal! The restaurant is lovely, conveniently located, plenty of parking, delicious-stellar food...but what is most important I think, is the caring and respectful way they treat their customers. It is why The Masters is my father's absolute fav, so for his birthday, I thought I would surprise him and arrange for dinner "on the house'. I called this restaurant all the way from northern California - the heart of wine country and all things food and wine and hospitality - and asked if I might treat my Dad for his upcoming birthday. I reached Nick, the General Manager, who was as kind and enthusiastic as could be! He assured me it would be a night to remember, took my contact information no-questions-asked, even took on the role of Chief Surprise Officer and called my Dad to invite him to The Masters for a very special birthday treat "from someone who loves him very much"...keeping him guessing until revealing it was from his daughter and grandkids in California. My mom called me right after that call all choked up, she said they were so moved, that Nick was so sweet! Then, on the night of his birthday, Nick and his team greeted my dad with his favorite cocktail and made sure he had a fabulous time, my mom and sister and brother-in-law as well. And not an hour later, I received a call from Nick assuring me all was well and providing the total so I could record it, and it was so reasonable with nothing added but the customary tip. Such professional and caring treatment, especially for a dinner that is now a cherished memory.
