Dr. Mathews is amazing! I have been in search for a good dentist for quite some time. I went to her office and was greeted with a smile from the front desk staff. I got a thorough exam done with pictures taken, and I was able to see a clear visual of my teeth. I had a couple cavities which she was able to feel. The process was painless, and she even added Vaseline to my lips while working on my mouth, which I really appreciate it...it's the little details that count. The dental hygienist was also amazing. Dr. Mathew's has the absolute rudest front desk staff! Both Brenda & Aleksandra. They moved locations without notifying patients in timely manner. Had an appt on the books for 6 months, only to be notified of a new address the DAY of my appt. When I asked them why they didn't tell me sooner they gave a whole spiel about how they emailed it, but since I didn't have email as my preferred communication method I didn't receive the update. Then I pointed how they text message me my appt reminders why not include the new address there. Never ONCE did they apologize, they were straight up defensive and argumentative. All for inconveniencing a patient?! What ever happened to customer service? Shameful! read more

The BEST dental office, hands down. I'm so grateful to have found Dr. Mathews! She puts you at ease immediately with her warm and inviting presence and explains everything so thoroughly. Plus, I always feel so welcomed and comfortable when I'm there and appreciate the kindness of every staff member. Had to get a deep cleaning service for the first time yesterday and wasn't exactly sure what to expect, but Roman was so great and took the time to help me understand what was being done. I can't say enough about Dr Mathews and her whole dental office. I had to take my aunt to get dentures and she hadn't been to the dentist since she was a child because she had extreme phobia of dentist. I called around to many dentist offices that specialized in patients with anxiety. As soon as I spoke to Alexandia she immediately put me at ease. She took time walking me through the process and assured me that Dr Mathews will make my aunt feel comfortable. She was right! After the first appointment my aunt started calling Dr Mathews "my dentist". My aunt needed extensive work and Dr Mathews and her staff Gabriel, Daillin, and everyone were very kind and gentle. Dr Habashy did the extractions and fit her new dentures. She was extremely nervous but they put her at ease. They checked in on her to make sure she was ok and on the follow up appointment Dr Mathews fixed any discomfort she was feeling. I am a first time patient at Mathews Dental Group and one who avoids dentists like the plague. So after my visit, I knew I had to leave a review, because this group of fine people made me feel like they truly care. I arrived at 9:25 for a 9:30 appt and was taken in at 9:30! They have state of the art equipment and not only did they take X-rays but they also had a camera that takes a 3D image of your teeth so that you can see what they see! Dr. Mathews took her time with me and made sure I felt comfortable. All staff that I came in contact with, were all smiles and genuinely caring people. I don't typically leave reviews but I absolutely have to with Matthew's Dental Group. Not only are all of the staff incredibly competent, but they are also all friendly, compassionate, and supportive. My family all goes to this office for their check ups, and we always feel so taken care of. They explain what they're doing, the reasoning behind it, and how to best continue my dental care at home and what would/could be needed for next visits. Growing up I absolutely hated going to the dentist, and honestly get nervous in most western medical spaces, but this has been and continues to be the dental office that I feel most safe in. Even today, when I was showing anxious qualities, the practitioner cleaning my teeth reminded me to relax and breathe through it. Carlos took my x-rays and photos and did his very best to keep me comfortable despite my nagging gag reflex. Ro was the sweetest and gave me the most thoroughly cleaning I've ever received. I arrived and gave notice I was in the parking lot as instructed, I was welcomed by the friendly receptionist and signed in, after a very short wait I was met by my dental assistant with a smiling face and guided to THE chair. I was having a tooth extracted and it was painless. My dental assistant was amazing, the Dentist was kind and made me feel comfortable. The procedure only took 15-20 minutes. When I enter this dental office/sanctuary I feel a calm that is not typical of going to the dentist. 1. when you walk in the door, a pleasant fragrance and a soothing waterfall immediately make you feel you came to the right place 2. a friendly, welcoming, smiling receptionist confirms your appointment, makes sure you are seated, and lets you know that your wait will not be long 3. the hygienist/dental assistant who adheres to the time walks you to the assigned room and seats you in the dental chair. She/he is very personable and always says something to make you chuckle or even laugh. They pull up your records on state-of-the-art equipment and explain your care for that visit. At some point, the Dr comes in, examines you further, either performs the procedure or explains your future care 4. Whatever the procedure, it is always smooth, and your caregiver is very cognisant and ensures you are not in pain 5 Checkout is easy and efficient and there are no hidden costs. They also book your next appointment and send you reminders as the time approaches.
