Key west was my first stop after boarding the carnival cruise. While scrolling down duval street, I stopped inside this place to cool off from the sun and to grab something cold to drink. While inside I decided to check out the place, after checking out the menu and the many options of sweets they offer I decided to try the chocolate chip cookies.......this sweet spot has the biggest cookies I've ever seen in my life. The cookie was so moist and soft, did I mention it was very delicious as well. They also specialize in the world famous chocolate dipped key lime pie, I didn't try it, but it looked delicious as well a nice thick slice for if I remembered correctly $6 which is not bad. read more

Calling these GIANT still doesn't seem to be enough to describe their size. They are not just huge but they are delicious too! They were softer than I expected which was an awesome surprise! My oh my! What a cookie extravaganza and fudge place.. never seen cookies this size before and their made from scratch. If your a sweet lover this the place for you. I purchased 3 cookies: oatmeal raisin ( fully loaded with raisers and oats), sugar cookie with sprinkles ( the taste is amazing), and lastly my favorite white chocolate macadamia ( Boom... speechless). I wish they had a location in Miami I can visit once a month just for the white chocolate macadamia cookie.. lol. If your in they let's check them out. My "GO TO" spot when I drink just a little too much and I end up craving something sweet. It doesn't happen often but when it does I always drag my husband here so we can get (2) of the huge cookies. I admit I talk him into getting one and it can't be the same kind as mine so that I can have more than one kind to eat. My favorite cookie here is the White Chocolate with macadamia nuts; it is the best. Then I usually make the husband get the regular Chocolate Chip. Sometime we try the Peanut Butter or the Chocolate Chip with pecans. They also sell ice cream and fudge. I don't both with ice cream but the chocolate is pretty darn good. I admit I ask for a sample every time I come in to get cookies. And just in case you are closer to Mallory Square, there is another location at the end of Duval Street. read more

Not the place for anyone interested in a sanitary experience. It bothered me that many of the baked goods were out on the counter right next to the customer line being breathed on and anything could be dropped on them (never mind a sneeze, cough etc). There was an area with maybe an 8 inch window at waist level that wouldn't protect much. A friend of mine ordered the ice cream which was good but nothing special. Another friend ordered a lemonade and when she watched the employee use his hand to place the ice in her cup, asked for a new one with the ice scooped and not touched with bare hands. He then proceeded to look at her while using his bare hand AGAIN to place ice in a second cup. She declined the drink then and we left. There was really no reason to be so rude, and they obviously don't care about complying with health codes. read more

Not big on desserts but tasted my girlfriends double scoop of Key Lime and Toasted coconut. The Key Lime was alright, but the toasted coconut was . I also discovered that if you took a bite that was like 75% coconut and 25% key lime, that it almost tasted like pistachio--which may be my favorite ice cream all together. read more

Stopped by for the ice cream though after seeing the cookies I regret not getting one. This was my first stop in Key West and after seeing the great reviews I was really excited for some ice cream. We got a single scoop of the Cuban coffee and brownie bomb flavors in a cup. The cuban coffee flavor was pretty good -- definitely strong coffee and the ice cream had a nice texture. However, the brownie one was a letdown since there was literally no brownie pieces and was essentially just plain vanilla. Not sure I'd go back again since there weren't too many unique flavors either. read more

The smell of fresh cookies pulls anyone in. Once inside, they have ice cream, cookies, key lime pie, coffee (yes, even Cuban coffee), fudge and amazing customer service :). You can sample the fudge and ice cream. I ordered the chocolates chip and macadamia cookies and one scoop of ice cream (vanilla bean) to eat together with the cookies. It was so delicious!! Warning... These cookies are massive and you might want to share. Now about the ice cream, it definitely very rich and creamy. They have a great selection to choose from. Popped in for a post- lunch ice cream. Ordered the brownie fudge (vanilla base with brownie chunks and fudge). Homemade, very large portions for a single Serving. They only have wafer and waffle cones- no sugar cones. Also no soft serve. Price tag is quite hefty- $6.50 for single serving but the ice cream was absolutely delicious and again the serving was huge. Wish they would consider a kids serving for less money! Great product and $$$$$... would come back to try more flavors (vacation!!!) read more

Fabulous cookies! I went in yesterday morning and got a peanut butter cookie topped with fudge. I knew I wouldn't eat it right away, and the man at the counter assured me the chocolate on top wouldn't melt as I walked around more. He was right. I've left the cookie out since I bought it 15 hours ago, and it's still very soft. The peanut butter cookie is really flavorful. Highly recommend. The first night of arrival we tried the chocolate chip cookie and I give it a 10/10. It was closely related to a place back home in Memphis but like 4 times the size. While at Key West we were looking for a great spot for icecream. Upon arrival we noticed the line was out the door but we didn't care. Those cookies were ridiculous. In a good way. I had a huge peanut butter cookie with a layer of peanut butter and chocolate fudge. I might have diabetes now but it felt worth it. Ice cream was good too. Not sure what kind of sundae other people were getting but they had 3 big scoops and came out in this big bowl the size of a takeout Ramen bowl. They looked amazing. WOW!!!! Best ever!!!! Peanut butter cookies with peanut butter and fudge frosting. They were giant and so moist!!! We also enjoyed the giant chocolate chip cookie as well. Their ice cream was delicious and so was the key lime pie!!! We went back to get some of the peanut butter double frosted cookies to take home. Sadly, they were out of the double frosted ones, so had to settle for their regular peanut butter cookie. It was delicious but nothing else held a candle to the double frosted one!!! read more

They have several locations around town, you cannot miss the smells coming out of their stores. The cookies are ginormous! We had to try the key lime pie of course: it was a bit to sweet compared to others we had. Overall, we'd go back for the experience: their ice creams looked so good! read more

Since they were preparing to close, the staff had already started putting things away and cleaning while customers were still seated and eating or drinking. Personally, I think cleaning should begin after closing time rather than while guests are still trying to enjoy their experience. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the honey cake and would love to try their cold brew next time.

Three of us ordered the potato quiche of the day special, which came with a fresh and crisp side salad. The quiche portion was large and it was very good. I would typically eat half that amount, but I had to finish it! The pastries were also top notch. One of us has a sweet tooth so he ordered a cinnamon roll and a chocolate long john filled with chocolate mousse...oh my, so delicious! The place is very small and very packed, so I would advise to get there either early or filter to run for a later brunch. The space is pretty small, but it is really cute and the baked goods are insane and gone by 10 on a Friday. Fresh baked bread fresh pastries looked unbelievably good. They have a large selection of fresh maid smoothies, and juices made while you wait which is perfect for after a night of drinking! I saw some pictures on Yelp of the eggs Benedict and they have a full page devoted to different types of eggs Benedict. I decided on this smoked salmon eggs Benedict and it was probably the best I've ever eaten in my life in any country. It was literally that outstanding!! The food comes out relatively fast although they're insanely busy and it's efficient.. It's not a place you lounge around with a lot of people - eat and get out, because there is a line waiting to be seated no matter what day what time. These servers really hustle too. This place is also known for its coffee which they have a lot of different varieties iced and hot and it's absolutely top-notch, pair that with some fresh baked goods and you've got yourself one hell of a start to your day. I've always loved Evelyn's for breakfast or Sarabeth's, but this place blew it away in my opinion and I've been coming here for 15 years for work. Options like Blueberry Cheesecake, Brown Butter Hazelnut, and Cuban Coffee Cake stand out. I chose the Cuban Coffee Cake. It was essentially a spiced coffee cake shaped like a donut, topped with plenty of glaze and crumble. The portion was generous. It could easily feed two people, but I managed to finish the entire thing. For a beverage, I ordered a Mocha Latte. The flavor was very good, but it was served on the cool side. It was completely cold before I finished, and I ended up tossing the last portion. They only serve drinks in paper cups, not ceramic mugs. Although mugs were visible, I was told the health department does not allow them to use them. For me, coffee in a real mug always feels better than paper. Service I have mixed feelings about the service. The person taking my order seemed a bit on edge. When I asked about the mug situation, she appeared annoyed that I would even ask. Since it was my first visit, I asked about the most popular donut, and that also seemed to irritate her. I rephrased and asked for her personal favorite instead, which she answered more willingly. I noticed a few other staff interactions, and the overall tone of the crew felt tense. Not sure if that's typical or if it was just a busy morning. Atmosphere I took a small table inside to finish my coffee and donut. There are several small tables, best suited for two people. Toward the back of the dining area there were boxes and pallets visible. This isn't necessarily a place you visit for ambiance. Most people grabbed a box of donuts and left. Only a handful were dining inside. If you want a good donut with creative flavors, this place delivers. Just don't expect a relaxed coffee shop experience with welcoming, friendly staff.

The cinnamon ones are the bomb! The pastry actually peels apart and is a warm, delicate and perfect sweet treat. The coconut is a little dry, stick with the cinnamon. So head down to Mallory Square, watch a beautiful sunset and try one of these unique snacks.

The display cases are filled with an assortment of croissants, beignets, buns and more. We tried the butter croissant, strawberry beignets, coconut cream cheese and guava cheese. The flavors were different and tasted good. We were disappointed in the lack of filling and the butter croissant was not as fresh and flaky as you would expect but was tough. The iced coffee is decent and I appreciated that they had almond and oat milk options. I got an added shot of espresso which was definitely needed as it didn't seem to have a strong coffee flavor even with the added shot. We would return but sadly is not going to be our required morning stop, as we had been hoping.

I forgot to take a photo of their cold brew process that was being done in the morning, but it was fascinating to watch. The process looked painstakingly slow, yet very cool and worth seeing. After a long day of walking and sightseeing, a small afternoon coffee break was much needed. We ordered iced coffee along with a slice of honey cake. The cake was moist, not overly sweet, and paired perfectly with either iced or hot coffee. The only downside was the service toward the end of our visit. Since they were preparing to close, the staff had already started putting things away and cleaning while customers were still seated and eating or drinking. Personally, I think cleaning should begin after closing time rather than while guests are still trying to enjoy their experience. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the honey cake and would love to try their cold brew next time.
