Purchasing a mattress from Mattress Showroom was an excellent experience. The showroom was one of the largest showrooms that we had seen and had several different models available to choose from. Gabriel, our sales associate, did an excellent job in educating us on the several types of mattresses available for purchase since it had been a while since our last purchase. He carefully explained to us the benefits of each type of mattress, which was extremely helpful in our decision making process. Gabriel was very professional in his approach and was very polite and courteous in his interaction with us. He is not a high pressure salesperson, which we liked. The short version of a long story is that we weren't satisfied with our mattress and tried to exchange it through the "120 Night Comfort Guarantee" that we were promised. Deceptive business. Bought two mattresses and told all about their unconditional warranty, which allegedly covered us for 120 days to make sure the mattresses were comfortable. We specifically asked Judy if this applied to both mattresses. She said YES. Well, several weeks later and one of the mattresses is unbearable. The store did nothing to help us. Their 120-day scheme only applies if you buy their mattress pad on site, at the same time. This was never explained to us by Judy. We have our own (brand new) mattress pad on this horrendous mattress. Asked to speak with a supervisor or customer service and Judy promised they would call. After 2 weeks, no call. Went to their website and sent email about the situation. After 2 weeks, no response. Do not be fooled by this company. They will make promises that they will not be able to fulfill. We regret not going with Macy's. Again, do not use this company. They are deceptive liars and failures at customer service. read more

We had a terrible experience at Mattress Showroom. All we needed was a bed frame. A very nasty, overly made up woman told us that they had exactly what we needed. When I saw the brand name, I remembered that I had read bad reviews on this item on Amazon. The reviews said that often pieces were missing. I asked the woman if we could return it if pieces were missing and she said that once the box was opened it was no longer returnable. Then she said that there were never any missing pieces. Sure enough, we got home, took it out of the box and two pieces were missing. When I called she said "I told you no refunds if box is opened". She really treated us as if we were garbage. read more

We purchased a Steans Foster king size mattress at this place and after one year we tried to get it adjusted for divots in the mattress. We asked to have it looked at and WOW, we had to pay to have it seen, or shipped to have it examined and no guarantee that it would be adjusted. Just told us to forget it. So the warranty on this is offered, ten years, is not very good. Be careful of what they tell as to if you can get your expensive mattress adjusted. My recommendation is not to even look at Mattress Showroom, ever. We donated a twenty five hundred dollar mattress to a shelter. read more

We paid $1,275 for a Diamond Purity Pillow Top set less than 3 years ago 5/25/14. Judy assured us this was a quality product. We should have sensed something was wrong. The 120 Day Comfort Exchange was voided when we refused to pay over $100. additional for a mattress (cover) protector. Almost immediately we noticed the stitching that quilted the top fabric was coming out. We felt that was trivial and did not justify a complaint. Now some 2 years and months later, it feels like we're sleeping on a hillside. It's almost impossible to get a good night's sleep and we wonder if it's taking a toll on our weary backs. Hindsight is 20/20 and we should have read the fine print before signing, checked comments and feedback, and turned on our heels when the salesperson declared that the warranty would be void if even a tiny speck that "you might not even see" appeared on the mattress. Recent revelations indicate we would have to pay $100 plus to submit a warranty claim and the best scenario is that our sad mattress would be replaced with another like it. read more

She was so helpful asking many questions trying to help my aunt who honestly can be a bit demanding and difficult. But Joni was outstanding very friendly and professional. We bought a bed and it was delivered the same day and my aunt loves it. So when it was time for me to buy myself a bed I went to Mattress showroom to see Joni she was working at a different store I was told . Their ten year warranty was useless as are the owners. Our mattress sagged after two years and they wanted us to jump through hoops to remedy despite their ten year warranty. It took several calls just to have Carmen acknowledge the problem and would cost us over $100 to have THEM come out and look at it. These days selling mattresses seems something akin to selling used cars. Mattress Showrooms is a good example of smallish company selling substandard mattress, using price and a superposed unconditional "comfort guarantee" as incentives. We purchased a mattress from them a year ago and have never been content or comfortable with their product. They say their product warranty is handled by an "outside company" and the customer needs to pay over $120.00 to have the product inspected by their experts. Warning! do not purchase a mattress from this company. Only purchase from a major company with a honest guarantee. read more

BUYER BEWARE. They tell you that you have 120 days to exchange if not satisfied for any reason as long as you purchase their overpriced mattress protector which I did. I purchased two queen mattress sets retail at $1199 each and was given a discount to $1000 each. Three months later I was not happy with one set (too firm) so I went into the store to select another $1199 set knowing that I would need to pay the $75 delivery charge. They would not discount to $1000 as previous. Ask for the fine print full sheet before purchasing. read more

Poor Customer service! When you first walk in, they offer you cookies, water, candy, but when you have an issue they will be rude and try everything not to help you. We were rushed when we bought because Judi had to be somewhere. we bought a tempurpedic that was a couple thousand dollars, but decided it was way too firm. So we wanted to exchange the mattress per their policy. They gave us the run around for a bit and asked us 50 questions about why, and was the room too cold, or your sheets must be too tight. We ended up having to pay an extra $800 to get the softer one plus they wanted to charge us a delivery fee with tax just to exchange it! When i said i didn't want to pay a delivery fee, we just spent over $3000 for a mattress she became very rude and slammed paperwork and the credit card machine. I could not believe the way she was acting! I would never hire an employee that acted like that! So, I had to pack up my old mattress, drive it to the warehouse, pick up the new $3000 mattress and carry it inside and set it up! Worst customer service for someone who just spent 3k!! I would not recommend this place. If you're purchasing a tempurpedic, they are the same price anywhere you go, so do yourself a favor and get it from somewhere else. read more
