They were very friendly and they knew exactly what I needed. I am very happy with my purchase. I try to only buy from local businesses and from a business where the owners work there too. If I need anything else I will definitely go there and no where else. They are great neighbors to have in the Valley. We entered, irritated from pushy sales people who just wanted to make commission and actually told us that what we wanted wasn't what we wanted, and Autumn immediately made us feel warm and welcome and not like a bank account with open access. She listened to what we had to say and she found us exactly what we wanted, below what we asked for our BEGINNING price range! She was fun, charismatic, and loves a certain city in the Northern Panhandle as much as we do. This is a family owned and operated business. They run like it. You know, like they care about the community. I will go here 100 times over before ever stepping foot in another furniture store. Guess what that means? They sell MORE than mattresses! Go. Go now.

    First off, I never go out of my way to write an online review but this time, given the…read moreabove-and-beyond customer service I received recently I feel compelled to do so. My experience started with an online order to get a new mattress. I did so with ease and was ready to pick up my new mattress! So I went to pick up the mattress I ordered from the warehouse out in the valley. I walk into the front office with 15 minutes left until they close. (I know, I don't like being that person that walks in right before close but that's what my schedule allowed for that day). Anyways, I am greeted by a gentleman hunched over in an office chair in front of a computer screen in the back corner with his head leaning on his hand, looking like he is very ready to be off the clock. After muttering, "how can I help you" I say that I am there to pick up my mattress. He asks for an order number and after I say the number, he types it into the computer, turns his head, and blankly replies to me, "yeah we don't have that in stock". I said, oh. I just confirmed with the store that it was here, in stock,superiors and ready to be picked up. He adjusted his tone to an angry, impatient, louder tone suggesting that I go yell at the person that sold me the mattress and demand to know the F, (Yes even went to the level of spouting off profanities) my mattress isn't available. With a smile, I replied, ok no problem. And calmly walked out the door, went to the car, and called the store. This is where the experience turns around. I spoke to a gentleman named Evander at the store who was so sorry to hear about my experience at the valley warehouse location. I didn't have anything to say that would belittle or stander the other location, just a quick summary of my experience. He informed me they would take care of it for me and make sure I didn't go without a mattress. He called me back a couple of minutes later after talking to his superior and informed me that they were going to upgrade my mattress for my troubles and that it was ready to be picked up. I hurried over to pick up my new mattress and was in and out of the store with a quick signature and a smile. THAT is customer service. I think the valley location could take a page or two from this store's book. Thank you again for the awesome customer service Evander at Mattress Firm. The mattress is great. My wife and I love it.

Prices were awesome, the staff was awesome but the owner...... I don't understand how someone can be completely disrespectful to a person over their own personal issues and stress. The piece of furniture that I purchased yesterday and came to pick up today had some one else's name on it. When I brought it to his attention and was blown off, I found Ken who was the man I worked with the day I bought it and he helped me despite the stress he was under because the store was very short staffed. He instructed me to go up to the front counter and get the list of the items I've already taken and were picking up today from the cashier. The cashier wouldn't personally give it to me which was fine, I completely understand protocol. I followed him and before I could say anything he gave my list to the owner that still had an attitude. When I tried to explain to him what was going on, he seemed very confused. Then I stated that I'd like to work with Ken about the situation. He asked why, I told him it was because I didn't enjoy his vibe and Ken knows of the situation. He must have taken it personal and became offended by my request because when we located Ken. He told Ken that I was not being clear with him. I restated that I'd like to work with Ken about the situation because we already spoke and he knows what was going on. The owner abruptly stated that he was the owner so I'd have to talk to him. The hostility in his voice was unnecessary due to the fact I was still being positive and showing respect despite his lack of towards me and my family. So I explained that the item that I had purchased yesterday had someone else's name on it and I was there to pick it up among other pieces I purchased but had to bring the trailer for. He confirmed the list and the item, we were good to go. He walked away to the cashier station. I spoke to my husband to decrease my heart rate due to the upset from his behavior and walked up to the cashier station where I approached the owner. I stated that I'm sorry for the misunderstanding and for his loss in the store, I told him I understood his stress and hoped for the best for him. He said ok and walked away. I shook it off and proceeded to enjoy the day with my family. Our daughter's picked out a few more things for our new home. During that time My husband and I observed the owner talking down to his staff, walking around unhappy and at one point stated to one of his employees "Everyone thinks they are the only people on the planet". When I was checking out I observed him cashing out an individual, he said Thank you and apologized for the wait to that individual. After his transaction he looked over at his cashier and picked up the slips of the pieces I was purchasing and asked me if the prices had red sold tags on them. I told him they didn't because everyone was busy and I was taking them with us today. Before I finished my sentence, he stated well that's why that bookshelf went into someone else's name as he was walking away shaking his head. I looked at the cashier and asked what else can I do? there's two of them and 30 of us on the floor. The paper tags is what you need for the transaction, personally if I don't see a paper tag, I know someone here has it too buy the item. The cashier just nodded his head and didn't respond. While we were waiting to take our items out, there was a hand truck in my visual. I went to ask the owner of I may use that to start loading my stuff. He was looking at my paperwork and then walked off. My daughter was standing next to me, looked at me and asked why he was being rude. I told her that he was probably just stressed and didn't know how to manage his emotions, but remember no matter how stressed you get in life, that's never an excuse to treat people badly. We were finally heading out, I thanked and shook hands with the cashier and Ken, I went to shake hands with the owner as he was walking by Ken and I but was ignored. After doing some research, He's definitely not the guy you see on his website. There's a reason he was autided multiple times in the last few months after the fire in three back of his store.He collected from the insurance so all this furniture for really low prices he honestly didn't lose out on anything.
