Now today we're sitting in the parking lot at 11:30 waiting for them to open up, 30 minutes late! They have a ton of awesome things so we continue to make the 40 minute drive to come here. This place has a great selection of model kits and RC equipment. It's impossible to beat the price of their paints and I make the trip at least once a month to check what's new! Overall I'd say completely disregard any negative reviews because when I mentioned the reviews he explained that the previous owners ran the poor shop into the ground and were super rude. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make the trip to Central Carolina hobbies and support local!!

With that being said, I was thinking this location would get some of the closed location's inventory but that doesn't look to be the case as it's the same amount of products as before. A major thing I noticed this time was the price in Funkos have gone up and no longer reasonable, which sucks. Still only 4 total long shelf stands of Funkos and nothing really new or stands out. Still has a lot of variety there with the nostalgic video games themselves, anime products, and some plush. Was hoping they'd have more selection of statues.

I was immediately welcomed by a wall of pokémon themed collectibles and a christmas tree decorated with the like. So cute! It was also really neat to see these retro games and consoles that could really take front and center stage. Unlike other used game stores, they really elevated and gave these a more dignified showcasing of value. Had me questioning whether I should be selling my old game boy games and consoles! Seems to be a market for this and I'm glad to see it. Felt like walking into an EB Game store for me. Shows how long I've been around. Sheesh.

Staff is friendly and very helpful. A place you can trade cards,play card games with people around the community and buy new cards. You can easily miss the shop if you dont pay close attention to the road.
