This place is awesome and horrible alike! We went in one time and they were doing "maintenance " and forced us out saying they were closed. Another time we were the only 2 in the store when they decided to randomly close, they said when the store is slow they close up, we were planning on buying at least $100 worth of stuff but they chamged our minds for us. Now today we're sitting in the parking lot at 11:30 waiting for them to open up, 30 minutes late! They have a ton of awesome things so we continue to make the 40 minute drive to come here. This is too cool of a store to be doing this to their customers, please do better! read more

Honestly this is one of my favorite stores im greensboro for what my family affectionately calls "that nerd stuff you like." ( They didnt say stuff) The selection has grown so much over the years. Whatever you nerd out over they have it. From pokemon cards to wrestling memorabilia there isba little bit of something for everyone. Mike, the owner, goes above and beyond for his customer. Today I went to a wrestler meet and greet there and watched the owner personally escort the elderly and the people with babies to come in first and seperate from the crowd. Its the little acts of kindness that keep me coming back supporting local business. read more

Very cool place. Comics, vintage and current toys. TONS of funkos. You can buy/sell trade items there. Ran by awesome people. They held a toy drive recently and they pack meals for homeless. Definitely check this place out - full of fun, cool stuff. read more

I drove by on my lunch break and had to stop when I saw the outside. I knew this was my kind of place. I am a 90's kid and this place spoke to my heart! Tons of funkos which I love but also games, toys, collectibles from years ago to current. Lots of deals in the store and they buy from you too. I saw on their social media that they give back to the homeless community. Awesome! I will come back for sure to add to my funko collection and feel the nostalgia while browsing. read more

Absolutely worst customer service! My husband bought something out of the $10 bin aka weekend special, literally walked to the car to find out the item he purchased was missing a tire. Not a big deal, there was another one in the bin, thinking he could exchange it. WRONG! Employee refused, stating it was a bin item. Are you serious??? He had only been out of your store for 5 minutes. Both boxes had clearly been open, even ripped. Yes, said husband should have checked before leaving, lesson learned BUT reasonably an exchange was not too much to ask. Isn't your customer literally the reason you can keep the doors open? Needless to say my household will never return. Not to mention anyone I meet in the comic world will definitely know this shop absolutely does not value a customer. And before anyone comes at me, yes I am aware it was only a $10 item. The monetary value is not the issue but rather the lack of customer service. read more

Ordered an item from Nerdbombers Mercari store. The item was purchased on accident and a few minutes after purchase a cancelation request was submitted. Nerdbombers replied with "Why do you wanna cancel"? I shared the reason why and how an accidental purchase was made. I did not hear from Nerdbombers again. The next day the item was shipped. I contacted Mercari for support, however, I've discovered Mercari is a very pro-seller platform. When the item arrived I asked for a return, which was also denied by Nerdbombers. I'm disappointed that a $10 sale was more valuable to Nerdbombers than good customer service. Had the purchase been of high value, a slow selling product, or we requested to cancel the purchase after it was shipped, I could understand their actions more. However, Nerdbombers was focused solely on earning the $8 or so dollars after Mercari takes their cut. The lack of communication or explanation for why a simple cancelation request for an accidental purchase prior to shipping could not be approved or discussed is mindboggling. To those purchasing items from Nerdbombers in person or online, please take caution, as they are more concerned with earning $8 than providing a good customer experience. read more

I love the new space! Michael was super patient with all my questions about everything. They have some cool LPs I haven't seen in a while as well and lots of Funko Pops. Toys galore, random Nascar racing paraphernalia, TMNT, Star Wars! Just better bring your pocketbook. Fun spot with lots to offer, including more debt to fund my toy addiction. read more

Our favorite collectible store in the area. The customer service is unmatched and always willing to help and answer any questions. The owner does so much for the community and is always around making sure your shopping experience is going well. The selection through out the store is very thorough and they carry stock of more than you can imagine. One of my favorite spots to check out when bumming around town. I love physical media and they always have a great selection of used DVD's. Tons of Funkno's, collectible action figures, tons of comics. One time they even had a few pallets of used books, you could fill a bag for $10, I was so excited! The staff is always friendly and fun to talk to. The owner is really nice, he's made some great movie suggestions and one time we went to sell some action figures I got from my brother, we didn't know what they were worth. He could have low balled us but instead gave an honest appraisal and suggested we sell them on eBay as they were worth so much. Cannot recommend this place enough! read more

This store itself has become a big part of where I get my collectors. Once you get to know the staff, they are more than helpful in finding what you are looking for. They will remember that about you if you are interested in something specific. They remember your name, and face and treat you like family. read more

The business does not fulfill its online orders. I contacted them five days after my online order and was told that they did not have an online ordering process. I had to give them my confirmation order before they admitted that they did. They then said that they overlooked my order and would send it along with a email confirming it was sent that day. They never sent the order or an email. A two days later I sent an email threatening to take them to court if they didn't send the product. They never responded and four days later, after sending another email they finally responded to say that they had canceled my order because I had threatened to sue them and refunded my account. Not once did they admit any wrongdoing with regard to their failure to deliver on the product I ordered twice. This is not a business with any level of integrity. Do not buy here. Customer satisfaction and fair business transactions are not a priority of theirs. You pay and they do not deliver. read more

The selection here is great, they have a LOT of stuff and the staff were so friendly. I would've bought more from them but everything is just so expensive! Their Funko Pops are marked up so much! I understand if maybe they're not being sold online or in stores anymore, but a lot of their Funkos are still being sold online or in stores. I didn't end up buying any Funkos from them. I feel like it would be a better business model if they sold their Funkos for cheaper, I know I would've bought multiple. But since they're marked up $5-$10 more than what they go for online, I just figured I'll buy them online instead. read more

I have gone into this store on many occasions and have never had a pleasant experience. The owner is extremely rude and talks horribly about his customers and other businesses. While I was there I saw the owner mistreating loads of merchandise including slamming multiple vinyl records down on top of each other. I would never buy vinyl from this store especially if you want it to be in good condition. read more
