Their location at Kihei Boat Ramp in South Maui means that you have an extra hour in the water so you can make one more stop compared to the other snorkeling charters who leave from further away and you spend most of the time going and coming vs in the water. 2. Their guides are so good, respectful, fun and full of knowledge about the underwater things you'll be seeing. 3. Their raft holds 12 people (I think) so it's much more intimate. This was worth every penny. You'll never forget when you first drop into the warm Maui waters and the incredible underwater sights you'll see. Make sure to book well in advance.

My husband was also snorkeling for the first time and was (not so quietly) terrified, but Will made him feel so much safer and more comfortable in the water. Will, Nicholas, Zac, and Catherine were all so wonderful - they made us feel welcomed and excited from the moment we arrived. Lila was also great and so much fun to take photos with! The entire experience was fantastic, and the food and drinks were delicious as well. We had such an amazing time and will absolutely be booking more tours in the future. Highly recommend!

We found Maui kayak through a search and Maui Kayak Adv. had great reviews and it seemed to be on the side of the island we were on. Bonus... they are a B Corp. (look that up if you don't know) A company who gives back is super important and they are a small business, extra bonus. We had reservations for one day but the swells were a little "extra" so they called us to reschedule for another day. We had a little wiggle room and I appreciate that they cared about safety and even visibility in the water. Communication was super easy either via call or text and I was always updated on location of meet up. We were super lucky to have Heather as our guide. She was super nice and had great vibes and was super knowledgeable about the ocean life and geography around us. She took us to great spots and we saw tons of turtles amongst all of the other tropical fishes both shy and "brave" She even took amazing pictures for us of creatures up close by free diving and we got to download them later. I was so nervous to go snorkeling because I actually can't swim at all but the folks on the boat were so supportive, and they gave me a lifejacket and a flotation device and I was able to safely go out into the water and snorkel without any issues! My husband was so sweet & also rented us a Go Pro to capture our underwater moments, and I'm so happy that that was even an option with this company! In addition to the incredible service that the folks on the boat provided for us, they also provided us with a four course meal - which included scrambled eggs, yogurt parfait, and delicious cinnamon rolls! This time we were with Kersten and Travis and they also were knowledgeable, friendly, and enthusiastic. Unbelievably, this time we saw groups of male whales, competing for eight female or females. There were no less than seven whales swimming in a huge circle around our boat. It was truly an amazing experience as they were within 10 feet and you could hear them exhale and smell them as well.
