Their location at Kihei Boat Ramp in South Maui means that you have an extra hour in the water so you can make one more stop compared to the other snorkeling charters who leave from further away and you spend most of the time going and coming vs in the water. 2. Their guides are so good, respectful, fun and full of knowledge about the underwater things you'll be seeing. 3. Their raft holds 12 people (I think) so it's much more intimate. This was worth every penny. You'll never forget when you first drop into the warm Maui waters and the incredible underwater sights you'll see. Make sure to book well in advance.

We didn't cruise, we went to a harbor for shelter from the wind and hooked up to a mooring. The wind was so fierce that our group went below to eat where the staff was preparing the food. The food was okay. Not at all worth the price and don't fall for the lobster up charge of $70... it wasn't worth it. The crew was great. The drinks were readily poured, which was appreciated. With that said, the entire group agreed it wasn't worth the money and we wish they would have canceled due to wind.

Snorkeling was fun and accessible because they had prescription masks available, which is a must if you cannot/do not wear contacts and want actually see the ocean life. On the way back, one of our daughters helped hoist the sail and we were able to catch the wind of a bit. We found the Dolphin Watch Sail Deluxe which was perfect. And there were dolphins! Literally hundreds of spinner dolphins all over the place just offshore. What a treat. The kids were thrilled. The first thing the captain when he saw them was called all the kids up to the (trampoline) on the front so that they could see the dolphins underneath. The kids were so excited. It was amazing. The boat was spacious for the number of people we had on the tour. Maybe 30? Just a guess. There were lots of seats indoors and outdoors, and people tended to move around quite a bit. The staff were wonderful. They told us about the animals that we saw: spinner, dolphins, green sea turtles, and monk seals. There was also a photographer who took pictures of family groupings. They weren't cheap, $90, but she took so many of our family. It was totally worth it. They served lunch, snacks, and drinks. My only suggestion is that it might be worth a thought for them to eliminate the lunch entirely. There was nothing wrong with it. Pork sandwiches and salad were great, but I just don't see how it's necessary given that the tour left at 1:30. That seemed to keep the staff pretty busy and maybe needlessly? I don't know if it would be worth reducing the price by just a small amount and eliminating that because I'm not sure if it's that much of a draw. It was absolutely perfect. We all loved it! We found Maui kayak through a search and Maui Kayak Adv. had great reviews and it seemed to be on the side of the island we were on. Bonus... they are a B Corp. (look that up if you don't know) A company who gives back is super important and they are a small business, extra bonus. We had reservations for one day but the swells were a little "extra" so they called us to reschedule for another day. We had a little wiggle room and I appreciate that they cared about safety and even visibility in the water. Communication was super easy either via call or text and I was always updated on location of meet up. We were super lucky to have Heather as our guide. She was super nice and had great vibes and was super knowledgeable about the ocean life and geography around us. She took us to great spots and we saw tons of turtles amongst all of the other tropical fishes both shy and "brave" She even took amazing pictures for us of creatures up close by free diving and we got to download them later. Out of our on of our water snorkel adventures on our trip this was our fave: Heather was just all around rad. We even called last night and were assured the captain wouldn't take us out IF the seas were too rough. Guess what. July 28th, 2026 the seas were too rough for this to be enjoyable!!! Multiple people puked. We wanted to switch days to Saturday, but were told we couldn't because it was within the 24 hour cancelation window, but we were given the assurance the captain wouldn't take us out if it was poor conditions. He did. He did!! We all knew it was too rough. We have eyes and read the report. We sailed to Molikini and we could not go in. As we knew!! Then he took us to turtle town. I feel like it was a money grab when the seas are rough and there are hurricane warnings...it should be an allowable reason to postpone to an alternate date. You could keep our money and let us go Saturday. Geez..What an utter shame. Murkey waters. No visibility. I'll book with another boat if we ever do it again. One that values the experience and safety. Pray my husband's sea sickness goes away soon. EDIT: Here's something important to note. If the water conditions aren't safe or if the weather makes the water murkey the experienced captain will cancel. I know that is stressful, but he wants us safe and to have the experience of a lifetime. THAT IS WHAT WE WERE TOLD, BUT IS NOT THE CASE.

If you are looking for an intimate, high-quality whale watching experience, look no further. The Boat The vessel is fantastic. It's an inflatable-style boat, but don't let that fool you--it was incredibly stable on the water. It seats about 20 people, so it feels personalized rather than crowded. Most of the seats are shaded, which was a huge plus for staying comfortable in the sun while we scanned the horizon. The Crew A massive shout-out to our captain and naturalist Levi & Travis! They were the perfect duo: Safety-First: We felt totally secure and well-cared for the entire time. Informative & Funny: We learned so much about whale behavior, and their humor kept the energy high and the vibes great. Genuine Kindness: You can tell they truly love what they do.
