What an amazing experience. Never been whale watching before, but must be a great company, because there were lots of locals that have done this tour multiple times. we did the molokini snorkel tour! Easy to book and the team made the whole process super easy and enjoyable! The raft ride itself was super fun and can get pretty bumpy. For the snorkel, they provide you with the equipment including floaties. Molokini itself isn't the best snorkel place because of the amount of tourists, but there's plenty of fish and coral read more

Took the 9:30 tour on Oct 1, both captains were awesome. Lots of tropical fish to see. If you want flat seas on the ride to and from and in the water, take the 7am tour before the winds kick up. Would highly recommend! Just the right amount of time at the snorkel site. read more

Our early morning whale watching raft tour with Redline Rafting was AMAZING and a wonderful way to start off our Maui trip. From the moment we stepped on the raft, the crew made safety and comfort a top priority--clear instructions, secure seating, and constant check-ins that made everyone feel confident and cared for. This was good enough to get over to molokini to snorkel. We did the short tour and it was plenty of time. You will see a coral reef and some fish but don't expect anything jaw dropping. It is wavy out there as well. 7am is less busy but I think would be more enjoyable to go at 9:30 for temperature read more

Redline is a hidden gem amongst the numerous tour companies. My husband and I had gone prior and decided to take a tour with our kids this year. The small rafts let you have a personalized experience. We did a 2 hour snorkel tour to Molokini this time. Great experience snorkeling at Molokini. The high speed boat gets you there in about ~20+ minutes... offering great views of Maui and other islands on the way. The earlier you go (e.g. 7 AM) the less waves and better clarity. Tips: Water temp around 80, a swim shirt or neoprene top will help you enjoy staying in the water longer. Bring a waterproof container /holder for your iPhone to take photos!!! Bring a towel and sunscreen Bring water and any snacks you want Bring your own mask /snorkel (dry) if your face is hard to fit... Bring Cash for gratuity. Pros: * Great crew with good info on where to snorkel, safety, assistance in and out of water etc. * Decent gear - nice masks, OK snorkels, mediocre fins. * Abundant sea life: Lots of yellow tangs, triggers, wrasses, eels, puffers, butterflies, angels etc. Good variety of coral * 1 hour snorkel time. * Your gear is stored in a locker while you are not on board - no risk of theft or getting it soaked. Cons: * You may get a bit sea sick if you are prone given the waves and speed coming and going. * Probably not a good idea if you have back issues... read more

I had a great experience with Redline Rafting! I love how our boat was relatively small so it wasn't a big group. They started off with cinnamon rolls and fruit which hit the spot before we headed into the water. The first and second stop were the front and back of molokini. Before we jumped off, they equipped us with our snorkeling gear and a floaty around my waste per my request. I know I'm not a strong swimmer, especially in the middle of the ocean! I'm not going to lie - I didn't see much of a difference except a few different fishes. There wasn't a whole lot to see, like some fish here and there but the water was extremely clear which made snorkeling way more enjoyable. They gave us a good amount of time to just explore on our own and welcomed us back on the boat when we were ready to take a break. Afterwards, we went to try and find dolphins but I guess it wasn't a good day so we headed towards my favorite part which was the sea turtles. This was part of the 4 hour tour and I'm so glad I did it because this was the most worth it. Talk about sea turtles galore! It was surreal swimming with some under and next to me. I also really got to see how gigantic they really were and it was just fun watching them either chill or swim around. We ended the day with sandwiches and chips as we head back to shore. The staff on the boat were very welcoming, hospitable, and funny! The are very knowledgable about the island and had a lot of fun facts to share. read more

This is a super fast speedboat, and we were one of the first boats to arrive! Snorkled the front and back wall of Molokini, and ended with the last stop in turtle town. I have never seen so many turtles, one even floated up really close to me! I was worried it was going to touch me with its fin since they are so friendly and curious. Also, I loved the smaller group, so we didn't feel like a big cattle operation bumping into people. Plenty of food like sandwiches, snackies and drinks onboard. Such a great tour with friendly, funny guides! Me and my 7 year old daughter felt safe with our guides and had such an amazing time. I will say that this is not my kiddo's first time snorkeling, but it was her first time hopping off the boat. If your kiddo is generally brave, it should be fine. It was one of the best snorkeling tours I've ever experienced, and this is coming from a former diver. Worth every penny, and super convenient if you are based out of the Wailea / Kihei area. By the way, there is no bathroom on board, so be sure to use the bathroom before you go or go like the fish do :) read more

The redline rafting tours have the options of two-hour trip and five-hour trip. I took the later one, which was actually 4.5 hrs from launching to the water to docking back to deck. Get prepared to change before come, there is no room other the gross public restroom. I expected a better overall experience for $200 plus tip to be honest. The boating experience itself was fun, though very bumpy from time to time, sitting in the back if you have motion sickness, and enjoy front view if you're more comfortable with big waves. There are four stops for the longer tour. #1 Experience Molokini Crater like never before by being among the first boats in the morning to go snorkeling when the visibility often exceeds 180ft. There are so many colorful tropical fishes in the shallow clear water. #2 Explore the back wall of Molokini while snorkeling, a place that only a handful of visitors ever get to witness. It's a very advanced snookering spot, deep and big waves, not as many fishes, not recommend for beginners. #3 Enjoy snorkeling at La Perouse Bay and have a chance to spot the Hawaiian spinner dolphins that inhabit the bay. This spot is also known as lava coastline, quite a lot fishes here too, and I spot a gray spotted octopus, which just looks like a rock, very easily to miss it. #4 The tour ends with a thrilling chance to have a close and personal encounter with the protected Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle in the water. There are so many turtles swimming with people, just don't touch them, and there could be a huge fine. I lost count how many turtles I've seen just in half an hour stop, at least ten big and The tour starts with Maui cinnamon rolls and fruit cup for breakfast, and ends with sandwiches choices of ham, turkey and vegan, and soda and chips for lunch. read more

BEST SNORKELING transportation snorkeling tour to Molokini by far!!!! We have taken a few different types of boats out to Molokini for snorkeling annually the past 6 years. This was by far the best "snorkeling tour" we have taken on Maui. The other boats were 1) a BIG white one totally crammed in with like 45 people that left from Maalaea Harbor. 2) Another was a sailboat/catamaran that left from Ka'anapali. BOTH were slow going to Molokini and only had 2 snorkeling stops in 5 hours. This big raft left from Kihei and the parking was convenient, free, and right next to the red raft. 4.5 hour tour. The raft had 17 people and left at 7 a.m. sharp, and quickly arrived at Molokini for the first stop. Second stop was the back side. Stops 3 and 4 were La Perouse Bay and some turtle area. The breakfast and lunch were great. This fast raft made it possible to do longer snorkels and FOUR stops!!! read more

We went out with Redline Rafting today at 9:30 and had an absolutely amazing time! The captain and his first mate, Josh, were fantastic -- super friendly, approachable, and made the whole trip a lot of fun. Exploring Molokini Crater was such a cool experience. We saw an incredible amount of sea life -- tons of colorful fish, a couple of eels, and crystal-clear water everywhere you looked. The entire trip lasted about two hours, which was the perfect amount of time to explore without feeling rushed. This was an awesome excursion and one I'd highly recommend to anyone visiting Maui. Absolutely one of the best snorkeling adventures we've ever experienced. Our guides Tony and Josh were friendly & knowledgeable. This was our youngest son's first time snorkeling so naturally he was a bit nervous. Both Tony and Josh took their time explaining everything so he felt comfortable. They clearly wanted everyone to have great time. These rafts hold 10-15 snorkelers so your experience is intimate. If I could give you more than five stars, I would. This was an amazing day filled with adventure, snorkeling , turtles, and literally a boatload of fun. This is a must, if you're looking for a more personalized snorkel experience. The tour guides are Top-notch! We did the five hour tour, and it was worth every penny. The biggest and most sincere props to our Captain Chase and Crew Jake for the 5 hour Molokini Snorkeling Trip!! Not only were the cheesy jokes from the crew hilarious but the views were amazing, we never felt rushed, and the organization of 2 crew with 23 customers on board was fantastic. The provided breakfast and lunch were the perfect amount of food, well prepared, and even the cinnamon rolls were still warm!! Lastly, the impromptu whale watching throughout the entire trip was fantastic and Jake managed to get GoPro footage of a whale surfacing right next to our stopped boat. Then airdropped it to everyone so that we all could have the video! 1000/10 will be back to Maui JUST for another snorkeling opportunity with this company, it was that amazing! read more

This was truly the highlight of our trip to Hawaii! The 5-hour snorkel tour with Redline Rafting was incredible from start to finish. Went on the 5 hour Molokini tour with Tim and Alex (Allie) last week. Highly recommended for: 1. The tour program itself: four stops in five hours where other tours only offer two; stop at the back of Molokini; extra touches like circumnavigating Mololini upon arrival. 2. The guides: we had Tim and Alex and they were great. Super attentive, very nice, surprising attention to detail and also just really fun. They were always on the lookout for both the pragmatics and making sure we had the best experience. 3. Practicalities: cool soundtrack, much smaller group on this tour vs others, food was exactly right for what you want/need. Thank you, Tim, Alex, and Redline! We then met Vicente the Hawaiian spiritual leader of our journey to honor my Mom. We had a beautiful ceremony on the beach to start the ceremony. We then go get the outrigger off the shore which was cool. We then paddled out and had another beautiful ceremony on the water where we spread her ashes. We then paddled back and it was incredible. It was a perfect way to honor my Mom. I can never say enough nice things about Charlie and Vicente. They were incredible. If you are looking for an incredible paddle out journey to honor your loved ones. I cannot thank them enough for all they did. It was a great experience and would recommended Blue Soul Maui. Multiple people puked. We wanted to switch days to Saturday, but were told we couldn't because it was within the 24 hour cancelation window, but we were given the assurance the captain wouldn't take us out if it was poor conditions. He did. He did!! We all knew it was too rough. We have eyes and read the report. We sailed to Molikini and we could not go in. As we knew!! Then he took us to turtle town. I feel like it was a money grab when the seas are rough and there are hurricane warnings...it should be an allowable reason to postpone to an alternate date. You could keep our money and let us go Saturday. Geez..What an utter shame. Murkey waters. No visibility. I'll book with another boat if we ever do it again. One that values the experience and safety. Pray my husband's sea sickness goes away soon. EDIT: Here's something important to note. If the water conditions aren't safe or if the weather makes the water murkey the experienced captain will cancel. I know that is stressful, but he wants us safe and to have the experience of a lifetime. THAT IS WHAT WE WERE TOLD, BUT IS NOT THE CASE.

We found the Dolphin Watch Sail Deluxe which was perfect. And there were dolphins! Literally hundreds of spinner dolphins all over the place just offshore. What a treat. The kids were thrilled. The first thing the captain when he saw them was called all the kids up to the (trampoline) on the front so that they could see the dolphins underneath. The kids were so excited. It was amazing. The boat was spacious for the number of people we had on the tour. Maybe 30? Just a guess. There were lots of seats indoors and outdoors, and people tended to move around quite a bit. The staff were wonderful. They told us about the animals that we saw: spinner, dolphins, green sea turtles, and monk seals. There was also a photographer who took pictures of family groupings. They weren't cheap, $90, but she took so many of our family. It was totally worth it. They served lunch, snacks, and drinks. My only suggestion is that it might be worth a thought for them to eliminate the lunch entirely. There was nothing wrong with it. Pork sandwiches and salad were great, but I just don't see how it's necessary given that the tour left at 1:30. That seemed to keep the staff pretty busy and maybe needlessly? I don't know if it would be worth reducing the price by just a small amount and eliminating that because I'm not sure if it's that much of a draw. It was absolutely perfect. We all loved it! Highest recommendation!

I just thought we were only getting cocktails, so I was very pleased.

We didn't cruise, we went to a harbor for shelter from the wind and hooked up to a mooring. The wind was so fierce that our group went below to eat where the staff was preparing the food. The food was okay. Not at all worth the price and don't fall for the lobster up charge of $70... it wasn't worth it. The crew was great. The drinks were readily poured, which was appreciated. With that said, the entire group agreed it wasn't worth the money and we wish they would have canceled due to wind.

We were able to go to 3 different locations (Molokini crater, the reef in front of Molokini and a turtle cleaning station. We saw a ton of fish, a turtle or two, plus a cute little squid and three octopuses. Deckhands Kelly and Josh were outstanding! They were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. They definitely made our day! We would definitely book another trip with Seafire in the future. Captain Nick and his crew was all about making sure all had a great time while keeping safety at the top of mind. They guaranteed we'd see turtles... we did! Immediately. The variety of fish swimming around the coral reefs was simply mesmerizing. From colorful parrotfish to graceful sea turtles, the diversity of species was truly remarkable. Spectacular!!! My wife and I did the Molokini Snorkel Tour. Molikini crater was absolutely like being in an exotic aquarium for me. Saw a small black tip shark and a moray eel and a multiple puffer fish. Saw so many other different kinds of fish I could not tell you what they were. Saw hundreds and hundreds of fish and the water was calm inside the crater area. As they promise we were one of the early boats there; so no crowds. Then for an exclamation point we snorkeled on the back wall where it was more about the spectacular drop off from the crater wall to the sea floor way below WOW! Only two boats on the back wall and both were Redline boats. Last stop was back on the Maui coastline where we snorkeled with sea turtles which was seriously cool! Tim (our captain) and Mike took exceptional care of us. Light breakfast of fruit and a delicious lunch consisting of a great pasta salad and deli style sandwiches. We much appreciated the fact that they keep the passengers to a small number. There were sixteen passengers and a total of eighteen counting the Captain and First Mate and I am pretty sure every seat was taken on the boat. Snorkeling gear was all part of the deal even a wetsuit for those who wanted one. A four hour spectacular adventure at sea. thank you Tim and Mike. I just got back from Maui and had to write about the 2 trips I took with redline rafting company. I went whale watching and snorkeling with them. On the snorkeling trip we were offered wet suits...and they are great because they keep you warm and are a little buoyant.. We had warm cinnamon rolls & fruit soon after we left the dock and got to watch a baby whale and its mother . We were able to visit molokini first thing in the morning and got there before the bigger boats came. We went to go to the backside of Molokai and only a few boats get to go there and see the big drop off and experience the "elevator" then our captain, Sean, opened up the engines and we had a great rodeo ride to the next site. We learned about the lava formations and other things about Maui. Our next stop was turtle town. I didn't see turtles that day, but others did. Sean and Kelly set out lunch for all of us and we all just got lunch as we got out of the water from our last snorkel. The captain situated the raft do that we were all in the warm sun as we ate our lunch. We also saw more whales and dolphins. As we pulled up to the dock our captain was giving last minute instructions and saying that he hoped everyone had a great time...and all the passengers clapped and said thank you for the great experience. read more

No way to get around it - they are #1! Full disclosure, I know the owners (and they are amazing human beings). That is part of why Redline is always my pick. But this time I took my 20 and 21 year old nephews and out of a ton of different activities, they rated Redline as their favorite. Sean and Jonathan were excellent, friendly, and made everyone feel like they were hanging w/their closest buddies while still being professional - not an easy line to walk! The locations were perfect - Molokini (front and back sides), a rarely visited spot near black sand beach, then to turtles off of Wailea/Makena. We saw tons of reef fish, a school of butterfly fish that you have to be lucky to catch, a small reef shark, turtles, eels, and more. The boys were amazed by everything. Food was excellent and plentiful and served at the exact right times to allow you to enjoy a moment of relaxation. We had some windy conditions and the crew was careful about where we went and making sure we were safe and could enjoy ourselves. Oddly, we had three guys with huge feet on the boat that day and they managed to find size 14 fins for all of them - and their gear is nice, clean and clearly replaced often. My husband and I are on our honeymoon and this activity was the best money we have spent! We have snorkeled together in St Marteen and Cabo and this blew those out of the water (pun intended)! Kiki and Chase were amazing guides! I will admit when I first saw how small the boat was I was a little nervous but we truly got to go to remote spots for he best snorkeling! We saw beautiful fish, a baby shark, an octopus, bottle nose Dolphins, and huge sea turtles. We went in the morning and they had breakfast for us, fruit and cinnamon roles, and at the end they had lunch, a deli platter, both were awesome. They also offered to rent you a go pro for the day and it was only $30 to keep the memory card at the end of the day. We haven't seen our pictures yet but we can't wait to go home and put it in our computer! Highly highly recommend this tour! Take some Dramamine! Because of the small boat and the remote locations it can be rough. We took some, my husband was fine all day, I wasn't feeling great after the second stop but sat in the back for the ride to stop 3 and felt fine by the time we stopped again. read more

I took my 2 boys ages 13 and 9 with me on the molokini snorkeling trip. To say Wow! Is to understate our experience. The fruit and roll hit the spot. Andy and Kiki did a great job of explaining clearly and with great personality the rules, safety, and history along the trip. The diversity in the snorkeling locations was awesome. From the protected cove of molokini to the wall plunging to the depths on the backside, and finally the magic of the turtles at our fourth location, we experienced diversity of fish, coral, and other wildlife. Andy and Kiki had great information about the locations to add to the experience. When we returned the whole boat applauded. It was the first time in years that my 13 year old thanked me for doing something with him unsolicited. The small boat and early arrival on the dive sight gave us exclusive access to the reefs. And when the big boats arrived we were on our way to the next site. These guys know what they are doing. This was the highlight of my 7 day trip to Maui. Excellent trip! read more

I live in Maui, and my when my aunty Blanca visited from Australia, she booked a tour with Redline. We had the pleasure of being rafted around some of the most beautiful and unique water areas around Maui and Molokini with the captain Sean and co-captain Chase on the Redline 2 raft (the faster one!). They were both wonderful with great senses of humour that kept us laughing, making an already amazing experience that much better. Sean was an encyclopedia of knowledge, and even though I live here I walked away knowing a lot more about the waters and history of Maui. Chase was patient with all of us no matter what the level of water experience, even taking the time to play underwater photographer and name every fish we pointed at. I won't describe the spots we stopped at, because I don't want to ruin the surprise and wonder, but they were breathtaking. We both felt very safe in their raft, and would recommend their tour to anyone, local or tourist! So much fun! read more

We went out with Captain Seth and Chase on 11/7/17 and had a great time. It is one of the highlights of our trip! They were both very fun and knowledgeable. They were attentive and made sure everyone was safe. The smaller boat meant we got to go to more sites and were able to get there faster than the bigger boats. Saw a ton of cool things along the way including a bunch of turtles!! Chase snorkeled with us at the first stop and when he spotted an eel he pointed it out. He even came up and took our camera back down to take a few pictures for us. They really do go the extra mile to make sure that we were happy, including recommendations about things to do and restaurants to go to while in the area. To top it off they remembered everyone's' names which in its own right is pretty impressive on a tour of around 20. I would highly recommend this to anyone on the fence about booking with them! This tour was absolutely fantastic. From the small boat, our guides, and the 6 (!!) stops our boat made, my husband and I had a wonderful time. You'll start the morning off with a ride to Molokini, breakfast, and snorkeling. We were able to snorkel in the crater, the edge of the crater, and the backside. We then proceeded down to the south coast to see the lava flows. Then, it was back up towards Turtle Town where I saw 5 turtles! We got lucky that the water was not super murky while we were there. We ate lunch, and since our group was speedy, our guides squeezed in one extra stop where we saw two monk seals and a giant turtle in one of the underwater caves. I appreciated the information and history from our guides, plus how they personalized the trip for our tour to let us have extra snorkeling stops. This was by far one of our favorite excursions of the whole trip. We can't wait to visit again! read more

This is THE company to take a whale or snorkel tour with if you want a small boat and Kihei departure. I did Molokini snorkel with Captain Tim and Sean, who are really genuine people, very engaged and focused on having a good time and connecting with people. They provide lots of information and bad jokes, good music(not intrusive) and good food. Honestly the snorkeling inside Molokini is not that great, on the back side is really beautiful but only available when the wind and water cooperate. (Listen for whale song when under water.) We got lucky and did the wall and saw whales and spinner dolphins on our snorkel tour. They do four stops. The only downside with these guys is you have to book ahead because everyone has figured out they're the best. I went on a whale watching tour with Seafire and the contrast was disappointing. At the top of my list of things to do on our visit to Maui. I believe I have done at least a dozen trips over an 8 year period. This last September I had a chance to share this experience with grand children ages 10 and 15 and sister-in-law and we all had an incredible time. Even the sister-in-law jumped in (afraid of turtles) and enjoyed herself. The lasting memory for me will be of the grandchildren in the elevator on the backside of Molokini and lifted up by some big swells, and dropping 6 - 8 feet with huge smiles on their faces. I have experienced dophins riding the waves on either side, leading the boat, pilot whales humpbacks in season close up and personal. See the videos of Aloha Kelly. We were interested in snorkeling Molikini crater both sides and found this amazing 5.5 hour tour that gave us that and so much more. The Captain/owner Sean and co-pilot Kiki were terrific explaining each location. We left from Kihei straight to the normal snorkel spot, wet suits were on the house. WOW, Later we went behind the crater AMAZING so many fish. All along the way we would stop to watch humpback whales and their calf. Later we watched spinner dolphins and then after that we headed to the sea caves in an area few tourists could ever access, Each locale the guides filled us in on the lore and the sights were over the top. Turtle town was the last dive and I saw 4 turtles. The entire trip we saw a dozen or more whales, endless varieties of fish, turtles in many spots, and an octopus that inked us. Seth and Chase did an amazing job! They take the time and know everyone's name and where they are from. The places they take you snorkeling is just out of this world! They provide some history at each location, along with some entertaining humor. You will not be near one of those 140+ person catamarans snorkeling all around because they get you out on the water before the giant groups, plus their raft can go places that many other boats can't. This company knows what they're doing! Our guides were Kiki and Chase and they were super helpful, informative and made the ride a lot of fun. Redlines one of the few tours that go to the back side of molokini and it's worth seeing, my boyfriend and I enjoying in more than the inside. Loved the fact that it was a smaller group than those crowded boats and we seemed to always get to the sites before the crowds. If you're thinking about going with redline but are unsure because it costs a bit more than some others, it's well worth it, more personal, more fun and will be the best part of your trip. Well make sure all of our friends go with them. And PS if you liked your ride you may tip your guide, these guys earn it! read more

I had an amazing time snorkeling with Redline!! The breakfast (cinnamon rolls and fruit) was absolutely delicious, especially the cinnamon rolls. They were very warm & fresh. Don't feel nervous about what you'll eat, you will definitely be full and happy. The guides on our trip were by far my favorite part about the entire thing. We had Seth and Kiki, and if you're going to use Redline I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting them as your guides. They're very knowledgeable and friendly! It was my first time snorkeling and they really helped me out. I wouldn't trust anyone else besides them! My husband and I went to Maui for our honeymoon and our snorkeling excursion with Redline Rafting was one of the highlights of the trip. Tim and Chase were our captains and they were extremely down to earth and fun, while also being thorough and safe. They are great communicators. We saw all kinds of wildlife - turtles, fish, eels, etc. They also provide underwater go-pros for you to use and you can purchase the micro SD cards at the end of the trip if you wish. This excursion was definitely worth it. I will say, if you are someone who is prone to seasickness, proceed with caution. I got a little sick at the beginning of the trip, however I felt better once the waters got calmer and we moved to a different location. read more

I've been to Maui about 10 times. I've done a Molokini snorkel trip just about every time. This was by far the best one I've been on. Family with 3 kids. Age 11-17. Chase and Ethan were fantastic. Would highly highly recommend the 5 hour trip. Max of 12 people makes a HUGE difference. Larger boats take forever getting people in and out of water. The boat is big enough to handle the channel. No worries there. Did 4 separate spots. Got a quick little breakfast and lunch as well. Would definitely book again. We also did their whale watching tour Shawn and Ethan were awesome. Saw tones of whales. Babies. Last week of guaranteed sightings too. Highly recommend this company. read more

It was the perfect amount of people, and my husband and I ended up chatting with most of the other passengers, having lots in common. Our captain was Caiden, who was extremely kind, informative, and entertaining. We also had crewmates Sienna, Diego, and Jim looking out for us and making sure that we were comfortable and had all of our wants and needs met. I felt completely safe and comfortable the entire trip and I appreciated having a certified lifeguard on boat with us. The snorkeling experience was phenomenal and being pregnant, it made me feel so calm and relaxed. I appreciated learning the history of the two various locations we snorkeled at and the opportunity to see a sea turtle. The ship itself was pristine, and the restrooms were some of the cleanest I have ever experienced on a boat. The breakfast and lunch that they served us was tasty, and the macadamia nut cookies at the end were the perfect sweet treat. I appreciated that they were able to offer me mocktails since I cannot drink at this time, and those were tasty as well. This experience was worth every penny and I would definitely come back and do it again.

The boat was comfortable, there was plenty of space. We went to 2 different spots and were given plenty of time to explore. The music was on point, a little Fleetwood Mac, Green Day, etc. it was eclectic alt chill. Legit they could make their own Spotify playlist, 4. It's not the cheapest, or the most expensive. The service was amazing and super helpful. They're always checking up on you and making sure all is well. They provide drinks (alcohol for 21 and above) light breakfast, and delicious lunch. They do rent weather swim jackets for $10 incase the water is cold. We got them but there was no need.

We had a little wiggle room and I appreciate that they cared about safety and even visibility in the water. Communication was super easy either via call or text and I was always updated on location of meet up. We were super lucky to have Heather as our guide. She was super nice and had great vibes and was super knowledgeable about the ocean life and geography around us. We also learned about the history of Hawaii, fun facts about the area, and how to identify different species while we snorkeled. Our instructor was professional, knowledgeable, and even captured photos and videos of us underwater, which was a great bonus. I've been a loyal customer since 2012 and have always had positive experiences, but this particular tour was deeply troubling. When I visit Maui and book kayak snorkling excursions, I only book it with this company. Willy's Disrespectful Behavior: The tour began smoothly, but things quickly went awry when my husband started feeling motion sickness. He informed Willy that he wasn't feeling well and decided to return to shore. Willy asked if he was going to tow us back, referring to me and my daughter. My husband said "no..they can stay". After my husband left, Willy began mocking him with exaggerated voices, laughing at his discomfort with one of the guests. This made both my daughter and me feel very uncomfortable. Willy's Unusual Behavior: As the other guests moved on to the next snorkeling location, Willy became increasingly erratic. He threw his anchor into his kayak with unnecessary force and started letting out this loud, uncontrollable, exaggerated laugh. My daughter and I were left alone with Willy, and his behavior started to feel unsafe. Willy took my daughter's paddle away and started towing us without any request from me, and shortly after we started paddling toward the new snorkeling location, he unexpectedly turned the entire group around. He then complained that he had to turn the group around because of the extra effort of towing us. I told him it wasn't necessary to tow us, we can manage ourselves. I noticed we were heading back to the meet-up spot on shore and asked if he was taking us back. He confirmed that he was. At that point, it was clear that he no longer wanted us on his tour, and frankly, we felt unsafe, so I was okay with ending the tour early. Despite my repeated requests to paddle back on our own, Willy insisted on towing us, exaggerating his grunting noises as if the effort was overwhelming. I told him he didn't have to leave the other people and we can find our way back and I pointed at the building on shore to make sure that's where I should go. He claimed it would be impossible for me to paddle both of us back alone and blamed my daughter repeatedly, saying, "WE ARE IN A SITUATION...WE ARE IN A SITUATION!... BECAUSE OF YOUR DAUGHTER. SHE LOST HER PADDLE!" I explained that my daughter hadn't lost her paddle--he had taken it from her--and assured him that we could manage on our own if he simply returned it. Nevertheless, Willy continued towing us, making disturbing noises the entire way back. As we paddled back, I asked for his name. He turned around, smirked, and rudely responded with, "I don't recall," then ignored me when I asked again. His behavior was bizarre, unprofessional, and deeply unsettling. Willy's Lack of Care for Other Guests: When we returned to shore, I asked Willy for his name again in front of my husband, and he reluctantly provided it. I had to ask him 4 times before he told me! I asked why he had treated us so poorly and ended our tour early and he sarcastically said twice, "You should be out there with your man!" It was clear that my husband's early departure had upset him, and he was taking his frustration out on us. Willy was in such a hurry to leave that he quickly unlocked the shed for us to retrieve our belongings and told us to lock it up while walking away. And he left the keys to the shed with us! We locked it and left the key in the lock. He seemed more concerned with getting away from us than ensuring the safety of the remaining guests. From a distance, I saw that he had left the other three guests stranded in the middle of the sea. Voicing Concerns and Seeking Resolution: Recognizing the need to address the situation, I approached a staff member about filing a formal complaint. Tiara, a staff member in a golf cart, overheard and immediately approached with genuine concern. She quickly contacted Kayak Supervisor Tim, who came out to speak with me directly. Despite my frustration, both Tiara and Tim listened attentively and with respect. Tiara went above and beyond to resolve the issue, offering a refund as a fair solution. She explained that it was only right to refund customers who didn't receive the service they had paid for. Her professionalism, thoughtful response, and commitment to customer satisfaction were deeply appreciated. Tiara assured me that the situation would be taken seriously and addressed accordingly. Conclusion: My experience was disappointing and infuriating due to Willy's behavior, which was so absurd it felt like a scene from a movie. I've never been treated like this, and it was frustrating beyond words. I urge the company to take this seriously, as allowing bad behavior to continue will harm their reputation. I've seen another negative review specifically naming Willy, and I hope the company addresses it before it leads to further damage.
