They carry trendy clothing that lasts for a season, which is fine for those "currently in fashion" items that you want to freshen up your wardrobe. Not for wardrobe staples, the quality isn't there. What brings me in are the jeans. They carry sizes 1-24 and have a variety of styles which I really appreciate as it turns out, humans come in a variety of sizes and shapes! Yes, they have the skinny jeans, but also straight cut, boot leg and some wide leg styles. Prices are totally reasonable - around $30 - so if you want the currently "in" high waist, wide leg for 2021, it doesn't break the bank. Also great for affordable accessories - fashion jewelry, scarves, hats, belts and even some boots. The boots and shoes are not real leather so they are not going to be as comfortable or durable. Located near Best Buy at Cascade Station, it's in a convenient location. It's not a regular stop for me, but once in awhile I pop in. Those working here are helpful, friendly and pleasant. read more

I was there on Sept 7th looking for tops. The manager was working, and she was tough to deal with. She kept insisting I choose a much smaller size of Jean when it was clear they wouldn't fit. The size I normally wear didn't fit either, so I have no idea what she was talking about. She also had no idea what a sweater was and kept pointing to the one sweatshirt they had. After trying to help me, she proceeded to spend the next five minutes berating another employee loud enough for the whole store to hear. As for the clothing - all very thin and flimsy fabrics for the tops and I'll-fitting denim. No cotton tops in the entire plus size section - not even a blend. Only rayon, poly and spandex. And crepe georgette which is just horrible. The only good thing I can say is that the color palettes were very nice. Too bad I couldn't buy anything. read more

absolutely terrible I could not believe the first time I shop here because I am heavier female and it and finding clothing sores for bigger women is usually amazing but this place couldn't even deliver the package when the store is only a half hour from my home (place of delivery), and it has been a month now and I kept calling and emailing to see where my package is and every time they told me bullshit ad finally today they said my package has been lost and they can refund me, well i will never shop from here again. they could offer me 1000$ and i would say no. My husband and I went to Cascade Station, during the pandemic, to do our weekly walks, and if we want to shop or have a to-go lunch, it's play it by ear! But, during our walk, we passed by Maurices, a store I've not heard nor shopped before . . . and I spotted something in the color I wanted (so cute on the mannequin!) displayed on their corner window. I'm the type of person, if I like it, the size/color and price is right, it's MINE! If I like it 100%, yes, I would buy in several colors! It should have been a fast buy, but I was quite disappointed, actually! My husband and I walked inside the store, looked around for the display and browse briefly the closest display rack, but I couldn't find item spotted from the window, soon a clerk showed up and I asked for his help. The size medium (I've been a medium for decades & decades - I should know right) that the clerk handed me, is more like a large, and the size small that he recommended (I must be), well . . . the sleeves comes 3" below my normal fingers! By holding the hanger to my neck, taking the sweatshirt by putting them from my should to should (so I can tell the length and the width to proportioned my body) and the length comes below my butt, I realized then THEY ARE baggy, which was not how the mannequin looked from the window. They must have done some pinning, to fit just RIGHT! I asked him, if the store carries for larger people, because the medium is definitely not my size nor style (suddenly I was put off), and left! BTW: To let people know the type of a shopper I am, I buy high-end, bargain and Thriftshops, and I also buy Italian-made designer/styles. But, the clothes or accessories I buy, is very important, not impulsive, it must fit me properly, no alteration (I can, but why when I can wear it today), the color must be pleasing and the style fits my mood. I am choosy, and I dressed to please no one but ME! Most of the time, I do get compliments on how I put my clothes together, bought from Goodwill. In that case, I tend to mix & match, keeps people guessing! I have almost 6 decades of fashion savvy, and give fashion advice. Never heard of Maurice's and I wasn't sure what it was - turns out it's a women's clothing store with a wide range of sizes, 1 to 24. They mostly carry jeans (for $29), awful printed t-shirts, plaid shirts, and cheap looking party dresses. Rayon and poly seem to be the fabrics of choice. The styles are not current. The shoes seem a little more current but still look cheap (and are cheap, $39). Purses must be made of PVC? You can also find jewelry, lipgloss and other accessories. Okay, here it is in a nutshell... the GOOD, the BAD, and the UGLY!!! GOOD: Convenient location near I-205 and lots of other stores and restaurants nearby within Cascade Station. Frequent sales. Plenty of parking (most if the time, but not always). Friendly employees. Plus size clothing up to size 24. BAD: Way overpriced for "average" quality clothing. Apparently the "return policy" is hit-or-miss depending on which employee you're dealing with (personally, I haven't returned anything, but my friends and co-workers have contributed their feedback). UGLY: Compared to some other plus size clothing stores like Avenue, Lane Bryant, Torrid, etc. some of the styles here are old lady-ish (like Dress Barn). When I couldn't find the proper size, she offered to order with free shipping to my door or the store. The store was crazy busy and I still received excellent and personalized service. This store is a mixed bag. I love shopping there for jeans and boots/shoes, as I think their selection is pretty good and when they have BOGO sales the prices are great. Keep in mind that at least as far as boots go, you get what you pay for. They seem to be made to only last one season, but the price is a lot less than other retailers. Shirts and blouses, on the other hand, are a crapshoot. Sometimes I find a ton of cute stuff, other times it looks like they're trying to outfit a senior center. I have been a long time shopper with this company. Recently the local store in Ontario talked me into opening an account. I made a complaint at the store because I never received a card for the account. I knew I had a bill but wasn't sure how to pay unless I went to the store. I called them on a number I had to google on October 30th when I got my paycheck to pay them in full. The representative told me I owed a little over 97 dollars. She asked me if I wanted to pay a payment or total amount due. I told her I wanted to pay the total amount due. I paid all that I owed Right then. I asked for a card to be sent for my account. A few weeks later I get a message that I am past due. I got a message from them which I was sure they had nt updated their system yet. Then I called them to find out they charged me for a late fee on November 2nd! I couldn't understand how this was possible since I paid my balance in full on the 30th? The rep told me that when they closed the billing cycle on Nov 2nd they seen that I paid on the 30th. However My bill was due on the 28th. So when I ask the representative to give me my full balance due, she did not. This was my fault says the company. They ended up trying to charge me for 2 late fees when I called. I had to pay a late fee that I should not have had to pay. For there mistake!!! Mind you that I haven't received a bill or a card for the account but they can call me from an unknown number and send me a text. absolutely ridiculous. I would not recommend business with this place to anyone. They literally didn't do their job when I called and then made me suffer with Late fees. This was my first experience at this Maurice's. The staff are very friendly, and they frequently have sales as well as a great clearance selection. The stock is good, they have each garment in a variety of sizes, and will offer to order it to the store if your size isn't in stock. The quality of the clothing is just alright. With some items there is a good chance that you could find similar things, for a better price, elsewhere; but you can definitely find some nice pieces throughout the store. If you're shopping for a more edgy feminine style, there are plenty of florals, lace, sheer tops, sweaters etc. There is also a decent selection of jeans. The majority of the jewelry and other accessories appeared to be cheaply made, but for the prices most of it was reasonable. read more

As someone who has never been to any Maurices before I was pretty upset at the service or I should say lack of service I received today around 5pm! I desperately need new jeans, and needed help finding the right fit , size etc. When I walked in I was not even acknowledged, not even a glance. I found the jeans section my self however not knowing anything about them I needed help, I noticed at least three employees all talking to each other but when I started to walk up to them they again did not acknowledge me, one even walked past me with some go backs. I am so disappointed. I have loved this store, the cloths seemed to be perfect for me. Until my friend wanted to return a pair of pants. The button broke and they were only a month old. After all of the transactions were completed (by the way she purchase another $50. This is my favorite store! Everything here just fits perfectly! I also love the staff. They always greet me at the door and have a room ready for me. I love going to Maurices! Not only do you always find super cute clothes and accessories... shoes.. all of it. I always find great deals on shoes here and they last! The most impressive part about this place is the customer service. You feel like you are in a specialty boutique. They pamper the crap out of you here. They make sure you have everything you could need or want in the dressing room... you never have to stand there wondering if they are gonna check on you and get that different size you nee.! There are rarely any stores that do this these days. The sales associates are incredibly helpful and its just an all around extremely pleasant shopping experience. This is a fairly new store out by the airport. I had heard about it from a friend and went to the online store. You can easily purchase online and return in store...which I love...except buyer beware the fabrics are fairly cheap and much like H&M are more of the trendy disposable variety then anything of real value. Love this store, not just for the clothes (which are fabulous for the tall/plus size girls) but for the service. They are helpful and courteous. They always greet you and get a dressing room right away for you and will bring you different sizes you might need. Clothes are ok quality, about the same as say, Old Navy. Decent sales, I don't love ALL their styles, but I can usually find one or two things that I like. They carry Hydraulic jeans, which I love and other than Macy's I can't find them that brand at a decent women's shop anywhere. read more

My computer froze when I was placing an online order with PayPal and I ended up placing a double order within three minutes. I also realized the second order was being sent to my previous address I immediately emailed to try to cancel the second order. When no ne responded hours later I went onto the live chat with the two order numbers and explained. The guy said there wasn't anything they could do and I was just going to have to wait for both orders and return one. I explained I didn't live in both addresses so I needed the one canceled and he said I should have canceled within a half an hour. And there wasn't anything he could do. I did an order two weeks ago, when they had jeans for $19 and 75% off second item. Every time I try and track the order it says it does not match, and I have screenshot of Confirmation number. After a dozen emails where informed they would honor sale price to reorder. Then, over an hour on phone and over an hour of chat messaging they said they would only only honor if I got same jeans but I needed item number. No person ever knows item number they know the confirmation number. Was given links to jeans to decide on that were $19 and decided on them. Then was informed they have sold out of every pair of jeans that are size 20 and 22 after was told they had available. And told supervisor would be calling me and after 4 hours never was contacted. They made me feel like being a plus size woman they were just giving me a run around and didn't care. I haven't had such bad customer service from any store read more

Shopping at Maurice's can be a little frustrating due to the inconsistent sizing... I can shop on both sides of the store (average and plus) depending on the clothing item and there are some cute and trendy clothes for women of all sizes. Prices run high for the clothing quality and durability. I probably wouldn't normally bother to write a review for a clothing store, but I had to give a shout out to Megan who is stellar in the customer service department. She's so friendly and helpful in finding clothes. I've only been in the store somewhere between 5-10 times ever, have only actually purchased something once or twice and hadn't been in for months, yet as soon as I walked in the door, I heard a loud "Hi Ashley!" behind me. From the tone of voice, I thought I'd run into a friend, but nope, it was Megan remembering my name after all those months. Maurice's earns an extra star from me because of Megan. read more
