I wasn't expecting to get anything today and I ended up coming home with two planters that I've been needing for a while, so I think I'll definitely be back the next time I'm waiting to pick someone up from the airport. read more

Ross dress for less or dress in a mess ? Please come out of early 2000s and start making stuff for the current times. Ross is mostly a store I frequent for some home items when I am looking for something that's not going to be used as much but is still worth buying . Think bag clips , certain kitchen tools , planters, mops etc . This particular location is really close to IKEA so I pop in every time I go there however they are not as well stocked as certain other stores in the area . Staff is alright and don't bother you and I think they also prefer when you don't bother them either. read more

I could probably copy/paste my review of this Ross location, change the names, and apply it to the Marshall's just down the way, also in Cascade Station, because they're so interchangeable, they might as well be one store. But I won't, as there are some minor differences and mitigating details that ought to be mentioned. I'm not going to spend too many keystrokes summarizing what we already know: Ross is basically Goodwill in a dress. Instead of (gently) used apparel, accessories, shoes, home goods, "furniture", toys and the like, you're going to find previously unloved fashions, overstock, and inconsistency. Don't come here with something specific in mind: if you have a vague idea of what you need, such as "clothes" or "house stuff", you might walk away with a bargain, or something unique that you will love. Otherwise, these off-price, big box emulators are more of a clearinghouse for things you probably don't need. There's *always* a line, sometimes stretching back half the store, as the registers are woefully (under)staffed by anemic energy vampires, who have no interest in "customers" or "service". Speaking of customers, most of the "bargain-hunters" who shop here move about like whirlwinds of destruction, leaving behind items in the aisles or on the floor, after becoming fixated on something they find later in their meanderings, and casting off the unwanted detritus wherever it pleases them. It's bad enough on any normal day, but *so much worse* during the holiday season. Get in, get out, and hope you get lucky. Or, do yourself a favor, and shop somewhere that sells what you need. they don't let you take the carts outside and there's no disabled parking. I tried to pull up on the curb because I have severe asthma. This is one of the better Ross locations in terms of size and cleanliness, but it never seems to have a lot of inventory. Even so, I visit frequently since it's at Cascade Station which also has a Marshalls, HomeGoods and Nordstrom Rack. While there, I hit up each of these stores. Often have good luck finding maxi dresses or jumpsuits for under $20. The other day I bought a navy Calvin Klein jumpsuit with gold polka dots for just $17.99 and Macy's has the same one for $129. That's why I love Ross! There are always hidden gems amongst the cheap clothing. Also find name brand athletic wear like long sleeve tops and jackets for between $7.99-19.99. Home decor has a good selection of faux succulents, kitchen gadgets, white serving dishes and fun seasonal hand towels. Always worth a quick run through when I'm in the area! read more

When I walked in I was told to wait in a roped off section to the side while they "monitored". 10 seconds later I was let in. Based on other reviews it appears they are holding you there to have the cameras take your photo, but do not disclose this. There were 4 loss prevention people at the entrance. Along with the one in Tanasbourne and the one downtown, this is one of the better Ross stores to go to. Just remember that it's still a Ross store, so things won't be perfectly organized or as spotless as a nicer store like Nordstrom might be. Still, when you find something good, you really find something good and you can get it at a much cheaper price than you normally would. Like most of the locations, they accept Apple Pay, which is very conviene when you don't feel like getting your wallet out. Selection: The women's and juniors sections were pretty sparse when I went. The women's bathroom smelled so RANK, I thought I was going to die. I gagged several times and if I had smelled that stench any longer, it would've caused a spontaneous miscarriage. Oh yeah, I'm pregnant and was desperate to relieve myself. I was better off peeing myself or holding it in and going somewhere else. The toilets and stalls were a complete mess. It's no wonder because they were highly short staffed! I was there on a Wednesday evening. Line was wrapped around the check out queue and there was only one cashier. Bless her heart, she moved as fast as she could but she clearly needed assistance with the volume! The two other employees I came into contact with were not at all warm, especially the one managing the dressing rooms at the time. Curt. The maternity section was kind of sad. I had bought what I thought was a perfume but turned out to be a body wash . I realized that when I got in the car no more than 10 mins later . I went back in to return it or exchange it for another one and she said they couldn't return it because it was a " health hazard " I would of understood if she had mentioned about the policy before I paid and checked out but she didn't . This Ross sucks. I can't stand that they lock the entrance door at 9:40 PM. They leave the exit door unlocked though. So, if you do enter that door between 9:40-9:43 PM, they'll let you know they're about to close. I was in there for less than 2 minutes when an umployee approached me at 9:46 PM and told me they were closed. I was already heading towards the exit when he approached me. Fuck them! Being a big Ross Dress for Less fan, I'm pleased that they have a store at Cascade Station. It's conveniently located among lots of other stores, there are plenty of eating places around, and there's also acres of parking. What sets Ross apart is that they stay open really late. So, when other stores at Cascade Station are already closed, but your credit card is just "getting warmed up", you can save Ross Dress for Less for last because they stay open until 11:30pm. read more

Back from vacation...I thought i would shop for myself... I have found 10 tops and 2 pairs of jeans...socks and one pair of shoes and one handbag that all suited my personality to a T. The best part...the prices!! Paying 10.00 for a perfect pair of jeans that fit my bootylicious curves....is a girls dream come true. I had been avoiding buying clothes because I didnt want to spend tons of money on in between sizes...but not buying new things left me feeling frumpy... This is probably the best Ross I have ever been to.. and yes, I have been to many! The selection was great and the store was clean and organized for the most part. Since it is the holiday season, they had a ton of gift items towards the front of the store which made it easy for me to find some great gifts for those that are hard to buy for. Since this one is a newer Ross it doesn't have that total ghetto feel to it like some of the ones in the city do. This location is out by the airport and in with some newer stores. I think people are just discovering this location, so we will see how bad they let it get. I bought a big 3x5 mirror for $29, so that was a good deal, however, I had to dig through the ones they had because most of them had chipped corners. I like that Ross has pretty great prices on items you would find in department stores. The unfortunate part about Ross is you usually have to dig and dig to find the size or color you're looking for. If you don't, it can be a huge disappointment. I'd rather spend the extra money to save my sanity when it comes to clothing or shoes. However, they do usually have a great selection of hand bags and housewares. I found an adorable light up front door mat for $10! I wanted two of them) but a piece of glass in one was broken, and there was a piece of glass was jammed in, making it quite dangerous to remove.
