This is a mid-sized boba tea shop that also sells waffles and mochi donuts! Their drink menu is…read morehuge-- with awesome customization options that include having no ice in your drink (a $.75 charge), and they sell a 24 oz size. The mochi donut flavors that I saw were : funnel cake, churro, taro, cookie butter, and coconut fudge. You can order using the self service kiosk and use Apple pay, which I prefer to do. Menu prices are about the same on DoorDash, which is great considering there are sometimes huge markups to balance out their fees. (Cost): $4.85 + tip (Location): It is in a very busy shopping area near Trader Joe's and Safeway. There is plenty of parking, but the area gets extremely packed, I prefer to park a bit away and then walk there. The area is very nice-- I would describe it has middle class to upper middle class. I love how beautifully decorated this shop is. Seating consists of a medium size couch, two benches, some seating by the widow l, and a table with 3 chairs. (Service): Excellent! Despite being busy working on items, the employee greeted me as I entered and was very polite when he gave me my order. What I didn't like was how rude one of the delivery drivers was. He greeted them and they simply shove their phones in his face without saying anything after yelling for him to come from the back. I hope drivers like that learn some manners or are removed from the shop. (Food): 16 oz Thai Tea Creme Brulee (5/5)-- according to the self checkout machine this drink is quite popular and I can see why! The tapioca boba has always had the texture it should: nice and chewy without being too hard or mushy, so no complaints there i guess. I also really like that they have stamp cards. I'm a sucker for a loyalty card because it gives me more incentive to stop by whenever I happen to be in Gig Harbor. The shop itself is pretty small, with just a few seats inside, but it usually hasn't been too busy whenever we've visited. There's also a kiosk you can order from. In general, Pearl Tea is a reliable 4-star boba spot for me. Nothing fancy or life-changing, but the drinks are good, the boba is properly chewy, and I would stop by again when I'm in the area.

There is not a lot of seating, which is not a problem. It kind of gives off a more intimate vibe this way. I'm not a coffee drinker like my wife, but the refreshers make up for it.
