Horrible service/experience. Definitely a shame since the place has so many cool things to do and looks really great. We had a group of 8 on a Monday afternoon from out of town. Literally no1 even attempted to serve us while we were bowling for 3 hours. We had to walk to the bar and get drinks every time. After glasses began to pile up we approached one of the random 3 or 4 people standing around doing nothing and they were clueless and provided zero help. We are ABSOLUTELY not the "let me speak to the manager" type, but in this situation we all agreed it was totally necessary. Joey the manager finally came up and was defensive immediately. He defended "Kyle" the server who apparently was supposed to help us the entire time. Kyle said he checked on us a couple times but 100% never even approached the table. We saw him wander around for 3 hours doing nothing and just figured he wasn't serving since he wasn't wearing any work type attire. Best part. While Manager Joey was arguing with us, there were 25 glasses piled up at our table and did nothing about it either. Embarrassing way to run a hospitality service and will never return. In times like these management should be thankful for people to spend hundreds of dollars, mostly since we were THE ONLY PEOPLE THERE. Best of luck under Joey's watch... read more

Great venue TV, bowling, arcade games and VIP bowling area with private bar. The food is very good we had the wings and pizza. Wings are very good crisp meaty not overly cooked. Pizza had premium toppings and crust is made daily on site. We loved the beer selection too. They have a beer for any palette. This is definitely a place you need to check out, especially when its 110 degrees outside because its nice and cool at Mavrix! We will be stopping in regularly. read more

This place is cool in theory. Like Dave and Busters but with go carts and bowling. My daughter did have a blast playing the games. That is why I am giving two stars. Otherwise I'd give 1. However, the service in the restaurant area was AWFUL. My family and I came on a Sunday, right when they opened around 10:30am. Wanted to watch some football, eat, then play some games. First off, it took us about 15-20 minutes before being greeted by a server asking if we wanted anything to drink. Initially we sat outside but it was pretty cold so ended up moving inside. Mind you, we were not asked about drinks until we moved inside. Service was slow, we weren't given silverware and had to ask. Asked for silverware for a family of 3 and we were given 2 sets? Not sure how that math adds up. I'd like to go back to the fact that we moved from outside to inside due to the cold. The restaurant space has a huge garage door that opens, connecting the inside to the outside. This unfortunately was opened at about 10:45am causing everyone inside to basically freeze out. I am pregnant and this made me extremely upset. We moved inside for a reason... We ordered our food and it took a pretty long time. (Maybe about 30 minutes). Our appetizer and my boyfriends meal came out with no issues. Mine however, was made wrong and took about another 25 minutes to make. All I ordered was the Cali burrito and a side of veggies. When my food finally came out, it was slightly warm. Almost cold, no flavor in my opinion. And my "veggies" were a side of potatoes. I'd also like to note that my boyfriend is in the food and beverage industry and noted they definitely were not ready for a 10am open as they were still setting out menus, getting stuff ready at the bar etc. Needless to say we won't be back here. I'd rather spend my money at Dave and Busters. Food and atmosphere is a hell of a lot nicer. read more

Been back several times! This place is so awesome. Everyone at the front desk is super informative and helpful, especially when it comes to group pricing. Just let them know how many you have in your party, and there's usually some great deal to save money. My family and I have tried everything Mavrix has to offer. The arcade is loaded with great games and the laser tag is super fun. (They offer different game options for laser tag depending on the size of your party.) it's the bowling that really sold this place. We came for my birthday and it was so stinkin fun! There are so many cool mini-games you can play. Totally worth it! Our drinks and food were really great, too. All around, it was a great time! read more

Came in to grab lunch and play pool/games. We first went right to the restaurant and stood there while 3 employees conversed, looked at us, and kept their conversation going. We waited while they finished their conversation before they acknowledged us, so we ended up sitting at the bar. The bartender was very helpful at first. However, once we ordered our food she continued to disappear into a closet visible to the bar with multiple different employees including the manager. We ordered an appetizer and it came after our food because the staff couldn't not figure who it was for due to the bartender being MIA. The food wasn't bad but once finished we had to find someone to help us so we could pay. We ended up leaving and not playing games or pool. read more

We threw a birthday party here for my son's 9th birthday and hosted 12 of his friends. We had arranged for a 2hr party. It was perfect! I worked with an event coordinator Teisa who was professional and very timely! She was super friendly and answered all of my questions! On the day of the party, we had our own waitress, Kayla, who was absolutely awesome! She constantly checked on us, got us our drinks and food quickly and kept us on schedule. There is an itinerary, of sorts, for the parties there to keep things rolling and the party guests active! My son and his friends had an absolute blast! I completely recommend this place for parties! This is a great place for dinner especially if you have a larger crowd. We love all the TVs playing sports and there's also a stream of entertaining videos for the non sports people. The food is high quality and the atmosphere is fun and lively. The huge bar has an impressive list of beers and liquors. I recommend the brick oven pizzas and huge salads. read more

This is honestly one of the best spots in Omaha! They have just about everything here. We did gokarting first and Benji checked us in. He went above and beyond to make sure that we felt welcomed and had a great time! He was honestly the selling factor for us. After gokarting we enjoyed taking photos in the winners circle and then headed over to the arcade where they have every arcade imaginable! We played games for hours and ended the night with bowling. This place is the best of the Play & Eat type places. Any business can do the games and bowling. Here the ambiance is more upscale. What really sets it apart is the FOOD. The food is delicious. I recommend the pretzels and the KC bbq pizza highly. I'm not a bbq sauce fan but this pizza is amazing. The outside area is also a great spot for hanging out, playing outdoor games and watching sports. read more

We went there for our son's 12th birthday. We have been there before, we've even hosted birthday parties there before. Unfortunately, I waited until the week before to try and book my son's birthday and they did not have a time available that worked for our crazy schedules. However, we just did a walk in and it worked out great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The kids all had a great time. They were able to do everything that they would've been able to do at the birthday party. We had an amazing server when we were at our bowling lanes. Her name was Selena and she was great! We're from out of town and searching for somewhere to watch the NBA finals, found this place and what a wonderful evening (other than our team didn't win)! Everything was clean and felt very safe with all the staff in masks, drinks and food were amazing from the kitchen where they make everything from scratch. Will our server was amazing! Waiter told us they gave our food away and that "there would be no food." I've never had something like that happen at a restaurant. Disappointingly, they made us pay for the drinks we ordered while waiting for the food that never came. We ate at Taco Bell across the street. We were on the tail end of our Spring Break trip out here and the rain ruined our original plans. My husband found this place and we loaded up and headed down the 101 to just get out of the house, Im so glad we did! Super cute place, clean and well laid-out. It wasn't crazy loud or crowded, so we were able to play tons of games and enjoy our time together. The kids earned lots of points and the Prize Vault was stocked with some really great prizes so that was a nice change from the normal junk arcades usually have. The employee working in the prize room was very friendly and helpful, and the manager who helped him out getting one of the prizes we wanted that was in the back was also very nice. We didn't eat here or bowl, but will definitely be back the next time we are in town to try those areas out as well! read more

This place is really great to visit with family. However the service here is awful. I went to the bar and it took 20 minutes for the bartender to even acknowledge my friend and I. I don't understand why we can't get a server when we pay pool for an hour but you get a server when you pay for bowling? If the service was better I would visit more often. read more
