Love this place. Got the social package to throw my friend a going away party. It was cheap, only about 600$ for ten people. It came with drink tickets, three apps, two lanes for an hour and a half, and an hour gaming card for all members of the party. We assumed the apps would be the same size as menu items but the portions were huge! Our server was so sweet and attentive and everyone had a great time. Overall, the package was well worth every penny and turned out to be "cheaper per person" than if you were to have bought drinks/game/food/bowling alone. We had my son's 20th b-day party there. Never going back. We scheduled a party for a Sunday and on Saturday I found out that due to covid concerns 4 of our guests couldn't make it. No one at the facility could make any changes on Saturday or Sunday nor were they able to answer my questions and the party coordinator Cristina wasn't available after Friday at 5:00 o'clock. We didn't use 6 of the cards for gaming and left them with the server in hopes someone that could address the issue could reverse some of the charges. Monday Cristina said, you signed a contract so we can't do anything for you. Ended up costing almost $80 per person for an hour of bowling and some finger food and 6 game cards. 4 people didn't show up and two couldn't bowl. No concession adjustment or even offering to give us back the game cards that we paid for and returned was offered. I was told it was "Company Policy." We were EXTREMELY disappointed over the entire event and lack of any flexibility once a "contract" was signed. Beware of signing contracts with this company. You'll be locked in. We should have just showed up to bowl and ordered some food. It wouldn't have cost so much less and more catered to who was present, what we used and consumed. The spark bowling is super fun with the giant interactive screens for lanes!! The only thing I do not like about their lanes is the pins are all on a string.. Not sure if it effects the outcome of the game (I suck anyway) but they seem to fall differently than a traditional bowling alley.. Otherwise the food, service, games and atmosphere are great! I took a small staycation in Scottsdale a few months back and stopped in here as I was looking for things to do in the area and it did not disappoint! Super cool arcade games, VR experiences, claw machines, a bowling alley, and racing next door. Awesome drinks, a spacious outdoor patio with huge TVs and the overall vibe is just very fun. Arcade has much to offer and is clean. Did the vip bowling for 5 at a cost of nearly 80 after shoes. The vip area was nice but no one working the bar and no service for 30 minutes and nobody to control the out of control birthday party kids that kept running into our lane. This was by far a VIP experience other than the cost and I would not recommend this place. Staff outside the bowling area were all pleasant. We ended up going to the bar in the main area and ordering our drinks and food and serving ourselves and the VIP area. Go somewhere else to bowl. read more

Went to Mavrix for the 1st time today. Found most of the employees are not enthusiastic & look like they don't want to be there. The hostess at the restaurant (Savannah) was not very welcoming. Explained it was our 1st time, and she told me I needed to speak to the guys at the counter. I explained I wanted to be seated for dining. She said it would be a 30-minute wait and put us on the list (almost all tables were open). So we went to get money on 2 cards for our grandkids but the machine wasn't working correctly. Ask a guy at the counter for help - he turned to his coworker and said, "What am I supposed to do?" Neither employee wanted to help. With some polite encouragement, one guy finally walked over to the machine. He found that the machine really wasn't working and then asked us to go to the counter to get the cards. The other employee helped us and was very nice. We got the text that our table was ready. Our server, Elijah, was fantastic! Very friendly and accommodating. Consistently checked on us to make sure we had what we needed and was very kind when we did ask for something. He was THE friendliest employee in the place and a great server! The 2 runners were nice, too. The food was delicious! The pizza was very tasty. We could tell it was made fresh. The steak salad had great flavor and tender steak. We were pleasantly surprised! But I am writing about the food, which is simply incredible. I had the best macaroni and cheese of my life from a bowling alley! It's fully customizable; I added wild mushrooms and cherry tomatoes to mine. I brought a dozen co-workers the next night (the place is huge so plenty of space to spread out). I did not feel safe in this space. If strict cleaning protocols had been planned, they were not being implemented. I didn't see a single surface get wiped down in the arcade area or the bar. Laser tag vests were unsanitized. Many people strolling around with no mask. They say there is a cap of six people per bowling lane-- unfortunately they're not counting children, so we were put next to a group of six adults and five children all crammed into one lane and spilling into our space. Bartender couldn't ever tell who came up to the bar in what order, so my friends watched several drink tickets and multiple couples get serviced that came after them. Every bartender makes their "signature cocktails" VERY differently. I had an OKAY experience here once previously, which is why I gave it two stars. But after last weekend I don't think I'll be visiting again any time soon. read more

Great atmosphere, poor service, we tried to go on and watch the UFC fights and tried to get them to turn down the TV so we could hear the right announcements and we did so all the way until the main fight and they finally turned it up once the fight was done bc they had to get manager approval. We came here while visiting Great Wolf lodge and this place did not disappoint. The price point per arcade game can't be beat. We got a $50 card with 220 credits and 3 of us played on it for a good amount of time. Dave n Busters games are twice as much. Everything is clean and new. Visiting from Texas. Decided to visit this place as I was meeting a friend with kids. I decided to purchase the VIP Spark passes (for a party of 5) because I wanted everyone to have the best experience. It's NOT cheap by any means when you're the only one paying (and this does NOT include food). When I paid for the VIP spark passes, I noticed there was a line on the credit card receipt for a tip. I was very confused as to why that was there. All the young lady did at the counter was ring up my passes, get our bowling shoes, and walk us to our VIP bowling lane. I did give her a tip, but was immediately put off by that right out of the gate. The kids seemed very excited to explore the venue and this establishment does offer a very clean, safe place for them to play and have fun. The bowling was fun, but we got a little frustrated that we had to hunt down our VIP server to add more time to our lane. I thought I was paying for unlimited games? The food we purchased was really good. We were there on a weekday, so we got some great happy hour specials. The laser tag and VR jump games were awesome!! Would I buy the VIP spark passes again? Probably not. Being that we had to hunt down our server several times and sat there without being able to bowl, was super frustrating. I just didn't feel it was a VIP experience at all!! As far as the entire experience, I'm just glad we came on a weekday and not on a weekend because I don't think we'd ever be able to find our server. This place is so much better than main event and Dave and busters. It's so much fun! I've gone twice now and had a blast with my friends. The bowling shoes need to broken in because they are brand new so they kind of hurt, so bring a second pair of socks! They have a huge tv outside on the patio and games like corn hole and connect four. They have three nice bars inside, the bowling alley, laser tag, and arcade games. Great place to check out. My one complaint is the lack of vegan options on the menu. They only have a burger or chips and salsa. I hope they add more in the future. read more

Saw a bunch of Instagram ads for this place so we decided to give it a shot. The staff gives off the impression that they are understaffed and underpaid. Was told to wait for our server who didn't show up after waiting for 30 minutes. Ordered at the bar and hung out until they decided to turn on the misters at 5pm. Watched 3 tables leave from the misters so decided to say something and was told "I don't know who controls the misters, if you don't like it, you can find somewhere else to sit". Let me just say...this place is worth it!!! Such a fun experience being hosted in the VIP room (which by the way is worth it)! "Jay", our waiter was so attentive ! There were plexiglass dividers between the lanes, a private bar, and virtual bowling lane themes (like angry birds). The wood fired pizza was amazing! Prices were reasonable. Christina, our party planner was so wonderful and accommodating. The best part was seeing the smiles on the kids faces...to be around each other again...doing something that they love and in a safe environment. We'll be back for sure! read more
