Tara totally ROCKED a designer dress that I spent a lot of money on (a used dress on Ebay) that was…read moreway too small for me, but I was in LOVE with it because it was exactly what I wanted for my beach elopement. I couldn't even begin to zip it up. I found Daniel's Tuxedo and Tailor when I asked friends on Facebook to recommend someone who could do a complicated tailoring project. There are many tailors in this town, but she was the only one my friends trusted...so I went to Tara with this complicated vision: I wanted a white/blue ombre wedding gown with a dramatic chiffon train, made to fit me out of this tiny XXS size dress. It was some sort of sample from a runway show. I am more like a size 2. We went around and around with ideas before we even began...she would chat with me on Facebook and message me back with her ideas...we were like artists collaborating on a project together. I had the "vision" and she definitely had the skills to make the vision happen! The first thing we tried was a new corset to attach to the dress bodice instead of the tiny one it came with, and unfortunately it just wasn't covering me enough up top. There's no way either of us could have predicted that issue, based on just looking at the dress. She worked very hard on that project for me...and I still didn't have a dress. We scrapped it and I was sad and upset and back to square one, but by no means am I immature enough to "blame" Tara for that. It was a risk I took going in. When we were messing around with it one day, trying to get it to fit, Tara came up with a brilliant idea. She said, what if we put the train on another dress? We tried it out in the store, slipping the skirt on over a tight lace ivory dress and it was like a light bulb came on! Everyone got excited! We were both giddy about it. I then went on Lulus and bought a white dress but I just wasn't sure how it was going to come together with my vision of a blue ombre train. I gave Tara the time to really do it right, and what resulted was pure magic!!! The detail work she had to do was intense, engineering ways to attach little hidden buttons and clasps and make it all lay perfectly together. She took my vision and made it happen. I am so grateful!! She is an amazing artist when it comes to tailoring. After the miracle she worked for me, and how nice and patient she was when I totally changed my mind about three different times...I'd give TEN stars if I could. I know a few other tailors who would have handed me that dress back and said it wasn't possible right off the bat. When given the patience and time to really work her craft, Tara is a GENIUS. She cares about the quality of her work, and you may have to go back a few times so she can slowly iron out the small details that add up to PERFECTION. You will need to be a bit patient and give LOTS of lead time. Good tailoring work isn't done in a weekend...DUH. It isn't done for Walmart prices, either. There are some on this site who have given her bad reviews because they are cheapskates, or simply impatient. Yes, she is amazing at what she does, so she's very busy. It may not be instant gratification. Yep, she gets stressed out and behind sometimes because she is one human being with a very big heart and she wants to help everyone. You can't go in there in the middle of prom season and expect her to rework your wedding gown in a weekend. Too many people including other reviewers on Yelp have criticized her without telling the whole story. She is going to get it right, even if it takes a couple fittings and tweaks. It's a complicated craft and takes patience, time, and money!! I honestly would never trust anyone else ever again with a complex tailoring project!

They didn't have the tire in stock but could get it by Wednesday. I found a tire in Mayer at the Harley Davidson but I'll get to back to that. I asked if I got the tire and got there by 4 could they get me in to swallow the tire out since we need to be on the road in the morning. He said his guys were itching to go home. So I inquired about Wednesday and he said they didn't hsve to tools to swap the tire. Unfortunately there is no special tools needed for changing a tire. Liberty Harley Davidson had 1 tire for $400 however he was rude and acted like he was put out for having to go look for the tire. Then he let me know that he can't work on anything but a Harley Davidson. I let him know it was an unexpected emergency and he said they aren't allowed. The most helpful person in town was the manager at Discount tire. He called around tried to set stuff up and was friendly. I could her the guy from liberty Harley Davidson telling him he'd already told the guy on the Indian he can't change it. So we rented a U-hual and were taking home. The tire prices are about $100 more than the valley. Clearly Go AZ and Liberty Harley Davidson don't care about riders in the least. I wouldn't buy anything from Prescott Valley GoAz or Liberty HD. They aren't about riders.
