    Chili Cheese Fries

Great mom & pop restaurant. Quickly stopped by and they were to nice and fast service! Chili Cheese fries were so cheesy and the flavor was great! Definitely recommend to check out this hidden gem!

    The entrance

Stopped here on our way through the Coachella Valley. We felt very lucky to find this little restaurant. The food was amazing.. between three of us. We had a taquito plate with rice and beans. We had a pastrami sandwich and we had chili cheese fries. I am sincerely passionate about my food and it was delicious. I didn't realize it until I was editing my review, but they closed at five. I'm pretty sure we got there after five and they still took us in. Thank you very much to the employees who went above and beyond and let us in and fed us. We had a very long work week away from our families, and got a flat tire that delayed and turned our normally 3hr drive into a 6 hr adventure. We are so grateful for your business.

Typical small town old age restaurant. Very friendly quick service. Quality of food not the best. The menu has no modern items. Steak was rubberish and the sourdough lacking the sourdoughness. Eggs n hash browns adequate. The mens restroom goes nutz if you turn the hot water on. Close to the stater bros coachella shuttle.

This place is a concert goer's best kept secret.....until now. I've been coming here for breakfast while in town for Coachella the past two years and I have nothing bad to say about this place! we get shuttled to the stater brother's in the same plaza from festival grounds and we always come here as early as possible to grab breakfast before the crowd arrives. the people here are super nice and attentive. the service is absolutely phenomenal. they have so much patience for concert goers, even the rowdy ones. the food is delicious and reasonably priced. i've never had anything else other than breakfast so i cant review anything but what i've had. they have a variety of omelets to choose from and also your typical diner breakfast selections. i usually order omelets because it's really a complete meal in one. you can also create your own omelet with your choice of fillings. i did that once and was very pleased with my food. you will be spending approximately $10 per person including drinks when dining here. they have TV's that typically display the news. there are plenty of seating in the dining area. the only thing i dont like is that there is only one bathroom ( 1 for men and 1 for women). when it gets crowded, especially from the concert crowds, everyone's fighting to use it since it's a luxury for us compared to the campgrounds porta pottys. awesome place, great food, fabulous staff! just dont tell anyone else ;)

Had brunch while waiting for my tire to be installed next door at America's tires. I actually really appreciate the Maxcy's in La Quinta. I was surprised they were so different. The interior is kinda sad, in need of an update. Lots of mirrored shapes decorating the walls. The girls working appeared to be understaffed. They were hustling but a bit stressed. We ordered coffee and asked for water. It showed up 15 minutes later. My son's burger was good, mind you what I ordered wasn't the best thing to review a place on, the salad was good but the soup was out of a can. I couldn't eat it. I think my expectations were that it would be as good as the other location so it threw me. We won't be coming back to this one.

Good food at a good price! Their sandwiches are some of the best I've had. Especially the club sandwich!

There are other Maxcy's locations in the Coachella Valley (which I've tried), but I'm partial to this one next to Stater Bros.

Tucked away in downtown Indio, Papa Headz might just be the most lowkey burger spot ever. You can…read moreorder from their little side window (look for a flower mural) or pop inside Gabino's Crepes where they've got a register set up but don't let the unassuming setup fool you...this place is serving up some seriously incredible smash burgers. The menu keeps it simple: burgers, fries, shakes. But when you do the basics right, that's all you need. Everything is made fresh to order, but somehow they keep the wait time quick. We grabbed a round of burgers and split some fries, and everything came out fast and hot. Burgers: 10/10. This is what they're known for, and for good reason. Fully customizable (go for the double though, trust me), with gooey cheese, fresh toppings, and that perfect thousand island style spread. One of the best classic burgers I've had in a long time. Fries: Don't sleep on the specialty fries. I went with the Fiesta Fries and HOLY HELL WERE THESE GOOD! Ground beef, shredded cheese, G sauce, sour cream...BOMB. Definitely a crowd favorite. Drinks: Washed it all down with an ice cold lemonade. Perfection. :) The hospitality was just as solid as the food. The staff here are friendly, welcoming, and all around great vibes. This spot is a gem and absolutely deserves the love. I will be back!

Just an honest review here…read more. Saw this place on an IG reel and didn't even knew it existed, so thought I'd check it out. The location is actually two restaurants that operate in one building. When I got inside, the place was absolutely dead. No customers at all. That's always a sign... Cement and brick walls with nothing but a quote from Biggie on one wall and a picture of Guy Fieri on another THATS IT Took 20 min to get our food and when we did, we were VERY disappointed Portions are ridiculously small for what you pay (3-4 bite smash burger = $11) and the food wasn't anything special at all. Dropped $50 on 2 tiny burgers, 1 fry (tiny, $10 and blah) and 2 drinks Left hungry, but not enough to shell out another $50 Staff was polite, but SLOW Double the sizes or cut the prices in 1/2 and you've got something going on, but until then... We won't be back. Good luck!

Everything about Big Rock Pub is great. The visuals immediately capture you as you walk in, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the start. The service staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, and the drinks made by the bartender were excellent. The food did not disappoint either. We started with the garlic parmesan wings, which were incredibly flavorful and a great way to begin the meal. Next, we had the Caesar salad and the BBQ chicken pizza. The Caesar salad portion was huge, easily enough for two people and probably even enough to share among four. The BBQ chicken pizza was absolutely delicious and a standout dish for us. I want to give a special shout-out to Carlos and the food runner working tonight. He was very friendly and made a point to check on us as he passed by to make sure everything was good. In my opinion, that kind of attentiveness is what separates average service from seasoned food and beverage professionals. For dessert, we ordered the churros, which had an amazing filling that instantly hooked us. Our 3- and 5-year-old also enjoyed their kids' meals, and the fact that each kids' meal includes a sundae was a great touch. We can't wait to return, this is definitely a spot worth trying

It is just a clubhouse or a golf course and I was betting the golf course was the focus and the restaurant was an after thought, like a snack bar at a baseball game. I was wrong! There is a chef-curated menu by someone who really knows their way around food. Someone in our group got a margherita pizza and I ordered the "Figgy Piggy" which was a cauliflower crust pizza with prosciutto, fig jam, punchy feta cheese with a great sauce. It was thin, crispy, yet soft and flavorful. My Mom loved her margherita pizza and we both took half a pizza home each because of how large they were. I thought the food would be overpriced and small portions because I assumed we would mostly be paying for the view and people come to drink, not eat. Wrong again! We got a ton of food and exceptional flavors for the money we paid and it being a beautiful golf course setting in a ritzy area of La Quinta. Pleasantly surprised on all levels. Thank you for a great meal and a great experience with our family.
