Myself and a family member, decided to try Maxie's for breakfast, on our last day in Vegas. As I approached the door, the aroma itself was inviting. We were seated quickly, and our server came quickly. Since I had never been there, I was a little apprehensive. We kept it simple, ordered a mimosa, breakfast sandwich with potatoes. The mimosa was delicious. Breakfast sandwich with just egg and bacon (no cheese) on wheat toast was good. The (small) potatoes were cooked whole, and sauteed with veggies. Very good! It was good, for a quick breakfast. I didn't give it 5 stars. Because they ran out of jelly, and it was 8:30 in the morning. So, I poured syrup on my breakfast sandwich instead. Hidden gem. Not the most spectacular breakfast ever but solid breakfast and large portions, for a great price compared most restaurants on the strip. So far with the short trip we had this is was a win if you're looking for breakfast/diner food. read more

We are there today and it was the best breakfast I have had in several years. I had the Hawaiian omelet and it was absolutely amazing! One of our party had biscuits that were melt-in-your-mouth wonderful. Even the coffee was remarkably delicious. The staff was very attentive and I didn't see the bottom of my coffee cup until I had to tell them I was done. We will be back! read more

I have yet to order food from this place, so I cannot review it completely. However, I went in for coffee so scanned the menu. The menu is diverse and the prices very reasonable for Las Vegas Strip! $14.95 for complete turkey dinner, $12.95 for chicken fried rice, etc. Breakfast all day, nice dessert and ice creams selection, everything seems good. I will eat here in the future to give proper review. Until then, coffee was okay, a bit too strong but the server was friendly and accommodating. read more

Yes, they have Pastrami and Corned Beef Sandwiches, but that's the only Deli they serve besides Bagel and Cream Cheese. Where's the Smoked Fish and the Matzo Ball Soup? The food here is awesome and add a reasonable price. I forgot to get the waiteress name but our service was great for a place that is in Las Vegas located in the alleyway by Margaritaville. The only reason why I did not give this place a five is because you literally have to walk outside of the restaurant over three buildings just to wash your hands. Breakfast heaven! If you go for the early bird special you get a really good deal. We went three times during our trip in Vegas. The pancakes were fluffy and had amazing buttery flavor. The breakfast sausage was juicy and delicious. Best part was the huge glass of fresh OJ and no ice! I love that we got our money's worth because a lot of places skimp on OJ by either giving you a small glass or filling it with ice first. Loved it and will go back next time I'm in Vegas! read more

My husband and I went here for breakfast. I looked at the reviews here on Yelp and they had an amazing assortment of food and Eggs Benedict. I ordered the BBQ brisket Eggs Benedict. What a disaster this was. I mean, it was 9am on a Saturday in Vegas so maybe the staff wasn't on their game. It came out COOL... All of our food was cool. Not warm, not hot but cool. 2 minutes away from cold. So it had that going for it and looked like a block of bread with two poached eggs on top. Gross. That's pretty much it. I looked at it, looked at the waitress and asked for the hollandaise sauce that was clearly missing. She returned with it and I cut into my 1/2 loaf of bread searching for the brisket and grilled veggies. I got to where the good stuff should have been and had just grilled peppers. Legit what is happening. I waited for our waitress- any waitress or person that worked here for 10 minutes so I could ask.. Where's the beef?! When I told her she said "let me get you a little cup of meat." I said "um, no thank you. This is already cold and I'd like to not eat it." She then said she didn't think her manager would take it off my bill and I hadn't even taken one bite and it was MISSING the MAIN ingredient the BBQ BRISKET. I got it taken off our bill and we left. not sure i want to like this place or dislike this place....hence the 2 star rating. I do know the fundamental issue is the lack of management. waiting for a seat and waiting for a seat yet dozens of tables where empty...well empty with people but dirty because they had not been cleared.....the host said a lack of staff.... sat at the table for about 15 minutes before being approached on asked about ordering a basic omelet but was told i have to stick to the menu because the kitchen does not make anything unless it is on the menu ordered the gobbler.....surprisingly came out within 10 minutes...surprised because tables around me had been waiting for their food prior to me sitting down.... as for the food, surprisingly tasty fresh turkey but the stuffing was a bit cold and the cranberry sauce was minimum......but it had no gravy......had to ask for it.....waitress asked "oh you want gravy" not sure why that was surprising since it was supposed to be part of the sandwich..... once i had the gravy, the sandwich was fine, the chips were unimpressive. so the sandwich was fine but the experience was not....so if want to risk time, you might like it..... the fundamental problem is the place seems to lack any management....the staff needs training and the place needs leadership.... read more

Where do I even start. If you like rubber pastrami then this is your place. How can you screw up a BLT? The bacon they used was floppy and undercooked. Or pastrami sandwich had this super thick cut meat on it and it was so rubbery when you bit into it, all of the meat would pull out. You couldn't bite through the meat. We were in Vegas with my son's soccer team when our breakfast plans fell through. We literally showed up at Maxie's and asked if they could serve us - all 30 of us!!! They did - and they did it with a smile. A bit of a wait to seat the team together. Parents spit up into tables as they opened. My son had chocolate chip pancakes, I had an omelet - both were great.
