chicken sandwich, truffle burger, waffle fries
    Morgan B.

I know I should've ordered a burger at a burger restaurant, but... the chicken sandwich was quite possibly the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. My boyfriend did get a burger, though, and also gave it the same stellar rating. As is everything in Vegas, prices were a bit steep, but this meal was absolutely delicious, filling, and a great choice for a quick bite. Also, the seating area was kept very clean which is always a plus from a quick service place. Definitely recommend!

Capon's Burgers is located at the Fontainebleau's Promenade food court. They have a small menu offering burgers, chicken sandwiches, and fries. They also have shakes, sundaes, soft serve ice cream, and gelato. I ordered some gelato and I really enjoyed the French Vanilla and Cookies & Cream. Overall, the gelato was a perfect treat to end the night. The service from Edison was great. I was able to try a few flavors before finalizing my selections.

Swung by here for a quick bite as we were exploring fountain blue. We got the pistachio gelato which was lovely. The service was quick and as was a grab and go - the ambiance was decent. They also have a variety of burgers and sandwiches but we stuck to the ice cream.

If you're grabbing a bite at the Fontainebleau promenade, Capon's Burgers is the spot for a high-quality "smash style" meal at a Casual counter-service setting. I ordered The "Blackjack" Burger-It's topped with Black Truffle Aioli, Raclette Cheese, and crispy potato sticks right inside the bun. Loaded Truffle Fries: A massive portion that's great for sharing.

If you need a late night bite this far down the strip, Capon's burgers is an option in the FB food court. The blackjack burger was a little dry for me, it definitely needed more sauce. The truffle fries are decent size to share as it does become a little heavy. All in all, the prices aren't terrible and you will be full.

Pretty good! Heard great things about FB's new food court and this was my first place to try. FireBird was a hot chicken sandwich with hot honey. Also got some loaded fries. Chicken was crispy, juicy, and the honey was a game changer. The sweet bun really completed it and might have been the best part. I could see their burgers being just as good because of it. This place is definitely on the endulgent side, IE dont expect a light or small meal here. But for major foodies you definitely have to give it a try!

Vegas, what do you expect, overpriced items but unique nonetheless. I ordered a burger here with onion rings inside it. It was actually not bad, about $16 more or less without sides. And again pricey for what you receive. It tasted good though. The onion rings ordered were good, unhealthy and fatty. It tasted gushy, juicy and what you'd expect in a fatty meal. The oil is very inflammatory and fried. Those onion rings were $8 so in all $24 for burger and onion rings. The service was average tho, the woman at the front forgot to put in the onion rings the first time so had to go back and tell her to add them. Was she not listening? What a waste of time, the line was moderate as well, maybe 10 people in total of which all were strangers to each other, so 10 orders. A few people eating nearby and the wait time was sort of long maybe 15-20 minutes for two items. Ambiance is again, smelly. It had a bit of perfume all around the casino which gave me a headache. The burger and onion rings, very good and a cheaper bargain that the Mexican food next door. I enjoyed it as a late night unhealthy snack. Different than where I live at least.

Capons is a casual food counter located in the Pomenade in the Fontainebleau. They offer chef Capon's custom ground burgers and chicken sandwiches on house made potato buns. They also offer tenders, house made gelato, soft serve, and more. I can still say that the Firebird Chicken Sandwich is still amazing and is a great big sloppy sandwich that is moist, crispy, and so delicious. I am also happy to report that the smash burger is also very good. The onion rings were good too. They were large and crispy and seemed free o oil. The only reason for an update is because the gelato is different from last time. You still get a generous serving for your money. I am only talking about the pistachio flavor. Last time is was the MOST AMAZING PISTACHIO GELATO that I have tasted in all of Vegas. It was solid pistachio flavor and also packed with pistachios. This time it had very little pistachio flavor. So little that it was hard to identify as pistachio. It also only had a total of two pistachios in a two scoop serving that we shared. I still highly recommend the food. Maybe you should do a taste sample when selecting the gelatos? 4.5 Stars

The mango sorbet is the best I've ever had

I'm not sure why this place isn't listed under ice cream as well? They have ice cream, gelato, and sorbet. The mango sorbet blew me away. It has a very natural mango flavor that isn't too sweet and tastes like fresh mangos. I will need to go back to grab the biggest container they sell of this stuff. Located in the food hall and worth every penny. My review is just for this sorbet but the burgers here look really good so I'll need to try one next time.

It's pretty okay, not bad but nothing crazy like something you would wanna go drive down the strip for. I say the most i liked from their menu was their truffle fries and their shakes. Service was fast, got our order pretty quick although there was a long line ahead of us. If you're just to buy dessert, they serve it fast too. It's a small space and only few tables to dine coz it's at the food court. Good if you're in a hurry & just need something to grab & go.

The food made us sooooo sick! Came for quick grub, burger was $17, and chicken tenders were $17 also. Super expensive and the quality was terrible. Chicken tenders were hard and super dry, tasted like leather. We ate it anyways because we were short on time. We felt sick 20min after eating the food and lasted for several hours. Our stomachs were flipping a lot and bad gas. I felt nauseous and couldn't even walk. Absolutely TERRIBLE!

We're on vacation with my in laws and everyone wants lunch. Now I follow Josh Capon, the multiple time burger bash winner. I've been to Lure Fish Bar in NYC and had his incredible burger. Everyone is throwing out suggestions and I said let's try Capon's Burgers? Capon's Burgers is located in the new Fontainebleau food court. It's unassuming and people visiting from other states might not know about the chef and his award winner burger. I started with "The Blackjack", the burger is topped with Raclette cheese and potato straws. No need for ketchup! I'm standing to the side and see the chef hustling. The end result? I bring it back to the table, split the burger in half and take a bite. Wow! Nice size patty that's cooked perfectly and that Raclette cheese elevates the burger to another level. This was a cheff'd up burger that should not be missed. Forget In-N-Out burger! This burger is a hidden Las Vegas gem.

Smoke Show burger with waffle fries
    Stephanie F.

Capon's is a great option for a reasonably priced meal among the more expensive restaurants within the Fountainbleau. I ordered the Smoke Show with waffle fries. The portions are huge! Both were delicious and filling. They also have some chicken options as well as many gelato/ice cream flavors. I was too full for dessert, but it looked amazing. Definitely a good choice if you are looking for a good meal without high prices.

Wasn't a fan of the bread and it was kinda bland. Hadn't tried this place for years because of the motherland can't get it right, I wasn't going to mess with the US version. I was wrong. The sandwich was 5/5. I was thinking about this sandwich for days after. What makes them different is the bread. It's toasted, a bit thinner, while being fluffy on the inside, has that crunch on the outside. And it was phenomenal. Met a family of four who is a regular, that recommended the one with pistachio cream inside. I decided to try something else instead and it was amazing. I can't remember which one it was but it had spicy sauce with spicy salami inside. I'll def be going back to give a shot on the pistachio cream that the family shared they are addicted to.

I went in on a Monday around 11am, and to my surprise there was only one other group (of 3) ahead of me. The employee immediately helped us and asked which sandwiches we wanted. I ordered the Schiacciata del Boss, and the Summer. Each sandwich was $21. Additionally I purchased a Sparkling Water for $3. The employee began making my sandwiches, and I did have a hard time understanding what he said to me because he was mumbling, but I didn't get yelled at so I guess I followed his directions accurately. I will say, It was a bit of sticker shock to realize that I paid $48.77 for two sandwiches and a sparkling water. When we opened the sandwiches, they were actually a lot wider than I had anticipated. I should have done better research because I did not expect the sandwiches to be so flat. I expected them to have a little bit more veggies of some sort in them. The prosciutto also felt very minimal and thin. The bread itself was fantastic. You could tell it was fresh and soft. Additionally the truffle spread was prominent in all the best ways. I did have a problem with my sandwich though.. as I was eating my half of the sandwich, I looked down and there was a hair wrapped around some of the meat and coming out of my sandwich. I tried to tell myself it was my hair, because it was black, but my hair is long and that day it was curly. This hair was short and black and wrapped around the meat going further into the sandwich. Unfortunately, my first reaction was to pick it out and throw the hair on the ground, so I did not get a photo of it. Because I did not have proof, I didn't feel it was appropriate to go back in and address it. The customer service was very nice, so it's my best guess that they would have handled it appropriately if it was brought to their attention. Overall (excluding the hair incident), I enjoyed the bread, but I did not feel as though the quality of the sandwich met the price point of what I was charged. If it had more meat and veggies, then I would have been all for it, but $21 for really good bread, is something I will pass on.

One of the things that we really appreciate is the dill pickle spear that we get with each of our sandwich orders. Having that pickle on the side really makes the order feel complete. It's like having a burger and fries or chips and a sandwich. At the deli, you expect the pickle with your sandwich. This was not the case the last time that we ordered food from here. We stopped in on Mother's Day. We ordered our sandwiches. Everything seemed fine. Our sandwich containers got pushed along the line and when they were ready, they called our name. Simple right? No. Not exactly. The cashiers were quick to take our money and we were just as quick to bring our sandwich back, upset and disgruntled. We felt gypped. None of us got pickles. We didn't know why. The hubby was upset! He went to the cashier to complain. He told them that he would like to be refunded his tip, simply for the fact that they never mentioned the fact that there were no pickles available today. He was not asking for a refund on his sandwich. He just thought that they could've pasted a bit better discretion and making sure that all of the customers there knew that there were no available for Sandwiches today. I can't even tell you how upset he was. Like I said, I know it seems like a silly thing, but it's like missing the fries to your burger or the chips to your sandwich. The whole entire sandwich felt incomplete!!! So like I said, a refund for the tip was requested. Instead, the cashier ended up refunding the entire cost of one of the sandwiches. We tried to compromise with the deli, asking that maybe we buy a side of potato salad, but instead because of the problem with the pickle being unavailable, maybe they only charge half of the regular price of that sign. We're trying to upsell ourselves. Not Conley. The cashier didn't say anything. She just had a crunching. She didn't make eye contact. She never said sorry. She just went ahead to refund the cost of no one and that wasn't. Now, granted that was still a good amount, but the whole ordeal really so simple to dissolve. We were really disappointed in the lack of enthusiasm in the cashier trust us. We were also even more upset with the fact that the deli wouldn't let people know ahead of their ordering that there were no pickles. The hubby suggested that maybe they put out a sign saying that there were no pickles available today. One of the employees said, "oh no, we can't do that!!" I have a feeling they were worrying about the pickle situation and announcing it because then people would turn away from the restaurant. But, I understand that. For some people, a pickle is serious business. I know it seems crazy but at the same time. I get it. There's plenty of ample seating in and outside of the deli. It's always fun to sit there with people watch. Sometimes the line at the deli is exceedingly long, but don't be discouraged. Unless of course they're out of pickles, the line moves pretty quickly. Hopefully the next time that we pay this deli a visit, the pickle situation will have been resolved.
