Maxie's is a breakfast restaurant located at the eastern end of the LINQ Promenade. There wasn't much of a wait when the restaurant opened at 8 am. There's indoor and outdoor seating. It was freezing inside. Most employees wore masks. The food is good enough, though kind of ordinary. Maxie's may be a good alternative when popular breakfast spots nearby, like Hash House, have 30+ minute waits. read more

After walking quite distance (which is what Las Vegas is), we were hot and wanted to sit down, have a small bite to eat and a cold drink. Maxies happened to have a happy hour just as we walked by the restaurant so stopped in. Katrina, our server, couldn't have been nicer and more welcoming! She made sure we had cold water right away. We ordered a few apps that were 1/2 off during happy hour and I got a margarita. The food was good! If you like diner, fried food, this place is great for that. So yummy! The margarita was good. Kind of small but I wasn't looked for anything huge at that time of day anyway. Katrina was the best part. She was very attentive and efficient and super friendly! Nachos were not that good and nothing like you'd get from a Chilis for example. Watery sour cream drizzled over the chips along with a very scarce amount of cheese whiz. Slightly above room temperature at best. Hot pastrami sandwich was ok as were the Tacos. Nothing special, just ok. Server was excellent. Horrible place. First we had to wait 5 minutes which was understandable but when we got seated, no one came for 10 minutes. The other people who came after us got seated and got drinks, we didn't even get any water. 20 minutes later, everyone who got seated after us and got water and ordered. We still were sitting there with nothing. I have been wanting to go to this place. 4 stars because they were first restaurant open for breakfast on the promenade. every table full by the time we left. Hubby had the Belgian waffle with mixed fruit, with a side of sausage. Over priced sausage ($5 for 2 patties), waffle reasonably priced for Vegas at $12. I had the biscuits & gravy, that also had 2 scramblEd eggs. Would have to advise anyone against this item. This place was decent. Nothing that really stood out to me. The French toast was probably my favorite. We also got a stack of 5 pancakes which was actually way too much for us because I was expecting them to be smaller, haha. I got the classic Benedict box because I was really craving eggs Benedict and there's looked really yummy and like something a little different. It was alright but the hollandaise could have been thicker and needed a lot more acidity and salt. Also the spinach held a lot of water so it muted the flavors of everything else. But I would come back, I just think I would try some different things. A little pricey for breakfast but not necessarily pricey by Vegas standards and for how much food you get. The pancakes were the best deal for 5 for $11.95. I believe the Benedict was $15.95. And everything was pretty big portions, you could share if you wanted. I do have to say though the service was great. Our server, Dee took excellent care of us. And a nice gentleman gave my son a HUGE cotton candy, so that was really nice. Thanks Maxies!! read more

Every time I come here, it's a wait... and it is WORTH IT. The cocoa pebbles pancakes are incredible. The Italian sausage and bell pepper omelette is savory and cooked to perfect. The eggs Benedict is an experience. Cannot recommend enough. read more

this place had phenomenal pictures online and outdoor dining area is adorable. The waiter was great as well! The indoor dining area was a little underwhelming. Tables and chairs were distressed, but it didn't look intentional. Food was ok, nothing to specifically complain or rave about. Considering that, it was overpriced. Our family of 7 spent over $200 on dinner and drinks. We wont be going again or recommending to friends, but also wouldn't tell people to not go if they already planned on it. read more

This spot was so good !! My boyfriend had the Maxies cheeseburger with onion rings and he enjoyed every bit of it I had a taste of the onion rings and they were delicious . Poor service , incompetent manager and staff. Walk up with group of 4 ahead of us. They are told to wait 10 minutes; tell "hostess " we have 2 in our part y 10 minute wait. 4 people behind us. "Hostess " sears first group fairly quickly and then immediately returns to seat the group that walked up behind us. When I asked the man cleaning a table if he was in charge it turns out that in fact this incompetent person is the manager. He immediately made excuses that the "hostess " indicated we wanted outside table( we said first a available), then she said were there before us, not true. Manager can't pull his head of his own rear with help of a back hoe. Vegas is open, just no service yet. Plenty of other places to eat along this row for the linq.. Do NOT go here, slow service, indifference to the customer and food not worth the wait. read more

We came here this morning for breakfast since we're staying at the LINQ hotel. The food was really great and the service was amazing! My only complaint is that I made a reservation the night before around 8pm and the website said that this restaurant may need up to 24 hours to confirm my reservation. Not really sure why... I thought maybe they'd confirm my reservation the next morning before our reservation at 10am but they never did. So we showed up and we didn't have a reservation for 10am. I didn't even receive any email confirmations that showed I made the reservation in the first place. Kinda shady. But they sat us anyways thankfully. Aside from that, everything was great! It is hard to have bad service when you are not very busy. However Maxie's servers hang out in their own booth instead of wait on the customers. We were waiting for someone to serve us until I notified staff that we have not been waited on after a few other customers were waited on and ordered that came in after us. Most of our food came out timely after ordering. Food is basic, not very flavorful, unless you want to be in a diabetic coma with the cotton candy waffles or fruity pebbles French toast. They even manage to screw up something as simple as a chocolate milkshake (Made with chocolate ice cream? Really?). If you enjoy Maxie's, go while you can because it won't be around for much longer with such poor service and mediocre food. read more

The crux of the issue here is that Maxie's doesn't do reservations before 2pm. I called ahead to put my name down for 5 people, and they informed me it had to be done in person. Trekked all the way there and was told the wait would be 45-60 mins. So I went back to my hotel to get ready, only to be interrupted by a "your table is ready" text. Scrambled to get my group together, snagged a taxi, and arrived to claim my table. They'd given it up, even though they texted me super early. Their text didn't have a time frame for arriving at the restaurant, and I called twice to let them know we were running late (they didn't answer both times). To top it off, the tables were about 40% occupied when we arrived, but they insisted we needed to be put at the back of the waitlist which was, once again, "45 minutes". read more

Location is right by the high roller. We were sat outside on the patio. Nice little spot. I'd recommend them adding fans because the Vegas heat is no joke. Let's get to the food. All of my friends food looked amazing!!! They were very generous with the servings. Everything was fresh and very good. The food experience while here in Vegas wasn't that great. This spot definitely took the cake. I ordered the chicken and waffles. Chicken was moist and well seasoned. No complaints there at all. If I return to Vegas I'll definitely come back to this spot. read more
