Had high hopes for this place, so much so that we waited 45 minutes for a table. Unfortunately they missed on serving even good food, never mind great. Cold eggs, cold limp fries, but my burger was warm but they put the wrong cheese on it so another miss. The box Benedict looks fantastic but again with it being cold tasted horrible. Waitress almost seemed to care, but then still fell very short of fixing anything. Came here on St Patrick's Day and it was swamped. You kind of have to walk a long way to get here because it's almost at the end of the Promenade. No matter. Totally worth the walk. The restaurant is adorable. Cute gaming tables, high ceilings, etc. items on the menu are crazy ... fruity pebbles pancakes and other cereal related Items that any Seinfeld fan would appreciate. Party of 4 and we each loved the food. Soooo good. Our waitress was Kerri and she was poetry in motion- juggling 8 or so tables but stopping by and making sure we were happy and taken care of constantly. Came here for breakfast and I think we will be set for the rest of the day! Between the 4 of us, we had the chicken and waffles, fruity pebbles French toast, pizza omelette. And to top it off a milkshake. Kerri was our waitress and she was super friendly and helpful. There was a short line waiting for the place to open when we arrived (about 5 minutes prior to them opening). We were seated right away, however we were not acknowledged by our waitress (Evita) for 9 minutes. Other parties that were seated at the same time as us were already receiving their food before we even received our coffee. My partner ordered juice with his coffee, and Evita placed the juice in front of me. We only received one coffee stirrer between the 2 of us. When we finally did receive our food, (I ordered one of their "renowned " Benedict boxes) my hollandaise was stone cold. I reached out to another server since Evita was no where to be found, and that server brought Evita to our table. When I told Evita my hollandaise was cold she looked like a deer caught in the headlights, and it took her a solid 10 seconds to respond, at which point she said she'd "get me another one" (no apology). When she brought my food back again the hollandaise was hot, however the bread was undercooked and the ham was overcooked (I understand they have to remake the bread, however I feel they just reheated the ham from my previous meal which made it one step above shoe leather). We also went our entire meal without ever being offered a refill on coffee. Not our best dining experience in Vegas and will definitely not be seeking service there again. read more

Jessica, with the most obnoxious, condescending voice: "Im just telling you I can take the first four and the other five have to wait 30 minutes." Me, seeing open high tables: "Oh okay, can we sit there?" Jessica again, with the most obnoxious, condescending voice: "Um no. Those tables are closed because it's hot." Even though there were people sitting there. I understand if it's closed but PLEASE do your damn job and have some decent customer service. From the moment we walked up she was extremely rude. So, we went across the street to Yard House and they sat us immediately and provided us with outstanding customer service, as it should be. Also, we got a text saying both tables were ready 5 minutes after we left and were already at Yard House. Not sure if Jessica was just being dramatically rude with her badly predicted times or what happened. Never coming back here and will warn everyone I know never to come here. Hire a new hostess and fire Jessica or others will continue to leave and never come back. read more

Was really disappointed after reading the reviews I was really excited to eat here. When I called the lady said it would be a 35 min wait for a party of three and she took my name and number and asked my preferred seating inside or outside to which I said inside and shortly after I received a text putting me on the list. I arrived within 20 min and checked in with the hostess' to see how many parties were ahead. To which one responded 5 which I was shocked. I again asked her how much longer would that be. And she responded 35 min again. I waited about 15 min and my phone died so I went to the hostess' and let them know my phone died so I would not be able to receive her text. She said it was ok she would remember I was seated on the side. After waiting for a while I noticed there was quite a few empty tables outside so I was curious if my preference of seating had anything to do with us waiting so long. I walked up to ask a one hostess an older lady if the wait would be shorter if we sat outside. She was rude did not look up from the iPad didn't acknowledge me and snapped NO. I was taken back but decided to stay as we had been waiting for some time and everywhere else was packed. After waiting and watching around 6 parties go ahead I went up to ask the hostess (the younger one) how much longer the wait is. She scrolled on the iPad and no longer saw my name on the list. To which she said oh we can get you soon. After waiting some more we were finally being seated. Seeing an empty booth near the table I asked if we may be seated there to which the older hostess stated no that's for parties 5 or more to which I understood. After sitting and looking around I noticed NONE of the parties in ANY of the booths had 5 not even 4 people to which I became upset. Shortly after she then seated a party OF 3 in the same booth I asked to be sat in! Then I received bad service with the waiter not only did he respond and take my order with one word responses but he completely leaned over me while I was eating and shook an empty coffee pot over my cup when trying to refill it. He brought our food out late as if it was ready and just sitting there for a while so it was cold and my whipped cream looked more than half melted on top of my French toast. After speaking with the manager he too was short with his answers responded with attitude and stated well we're not even supposed to take your name over the phone in the first place so I'll see what happened and never returned. They compensated 15% but it was beyond compensation an apology would have sufficed I suggest looking for better service elsewhere read more

Went today around 12p. Wasn't crazy busy at all. Upon walking in my fiancé & I look around thinking we were in the wrong place. Nothing was as advertised & the service was SHITTY! No donuts like all these pictures advertised. Against better judgement we ordered a couple of waffle pops & a "Hot Pastrami". Hands down THE WORST pastrami I've ever had. When I asked about the missing dressing TWICE that was supposed to be on the sandwich too 2 separate people it still didn't get solved. The sandwich was rubbery & gross. Waffle pops were also not edible. Ended up leaving the entire meal. & our sever (little Asian guy with tattoos) spent more time laughing it up with fellow employees instead of tending to his tables. Again we had to ask someone who wasn't our sever for our check after we got tired of being ignored. Oh & the icing on the cake was he had the audacity to short change us in an effort to get a bigger tip. Most definitely won't be back to this place. read more

From start to finish, overall, we were disappointed in Maxie's. The hostess was less than friendly. She informed us of the 30 minute wait (which wasn't bad considering it's Vegas). When we were seated, we could help but notice that the overall feel of the restaurant was dingy, dirty, and generally unimpressive. It took about 10 minutes before the waitress even greeted us. I wish I can give this place five stars but because of how poor the customer service was in the beginning really bothered me. Me and my cousin was seated in an OPEN area where clearly the waiter and waitresses could see us. Mind you, every single waiter AND waitress literally SAW Us ready to order. The hostess then apologizes that the area were were in was "closed" but clearly two other parties are seated in the area were were seating. Originally NANCY with the Burgundy/red hair was to serve us but THANK YOU TO KIRSTEN FOR COMING TO NANCY's rescue and delivering great customer service.
