It's a great spot. Try to sit outside to enjoy the South Florida weather. Everything I've tried is tasty, but missing something. Go here if you aren't sure what you want because the menu is eclectic. I've been here a couple times and while it's good, I wouldn't order the same item twice. read more

A prime location in Mizner Park, Boca Raton. A friendly hostess and server got us going quickly. However the lunch main course, my Burger was creamy sitting for a while. Not medium rare, but close to well done. And 20 minutes to get the main food. Our waitress became inattentive once the order was made, and after a few questions the late food arrived. Don't be on a schedule here, the staff waits for the other staff and they wait. Not much enthusiasm from the restaurant side to make it right the first time. I don't have to wait to recook my food or comp out my food, I just like to have the right food in a prompt way ... I guess it was not meant to be, but there are many more restaurants in close proximity that try harder. read more

I was taken here expecting amazing service and food. I got the exact opposite. The hostess greeted us twice, forgetting she spoke to us that quickly. Then when we were seated, we waited 15 minutes before getting up and speaking to a manager about menus. He was not happy or apologetic to us asking to see a menu. Then we continued to wait as the bartender mingled with friends. There were 5 other people in the bar area. You think we would get addressed sooner. Then finally a different waitress waited on us. The food was good. Nothing to rave home about. The check was wrong. Waited another 15 minutes for that to get fixed. All in all, I wouldn't go back. Since I cannot respond directly to your comment... Yes, I am 100% sure I was at your establishment. I have my credit card statement to prove it. I was shocked myself. After hearing notorious reviews about your restaurant, it was much to my dismay to see this poor service. Perhaps I can review the persons name on my check to see who was waiting on me? Im also shocked that your questioning my review as faulty. I only review establishments that are a 1 or 5 star. I'm sorry yours took the wrong end of the stick. 3.5 stars I came here during an off hour with my husband (2:30 pm) for a late lunch. We were seated right away and our waiter came over quickly. And seems to be in a rush... which was weird since there weren't too many people in the restaurant. Perhaps it was close to shift change? I requested an unsweetened iced tea (unflavored), which they did not have!! They only have a fruity flavored iced tea. That was a disappointment right away :( We started by sharing the Brussels sprouts, which were tasty, but could have been hotter (temp). Seems like they were roasted or fried, then tossed in a creamy sauce and baked for a minute in the over to brown the top a bit. But the center was just about Luke warm. The flavor was good - adding more heat would have made this dish excellent. My husband had a chicken club sandwich with chips and said it was good. Nice touch that the potato chips were homemade and still warm. I opted for a roasted vegetable salad and it was barely "meh". The roasted vegetables were room temp (not sure if they should have been hot or chilled- but they were neither), and not cooked/roasted enough. Eggplant really needs to be cooked so it's soft and edible. The eggplant and zucchini were way too firm and thick for my liking. The thick chunks of "roasted" eggplant and zucchini were on a bed of lettuce. Very bland and boring (no seasoning at all). I also ordered the dressing on the side, which was good, because it was not good. Ended up ordering a side of balsamic vinegarette which was much better. I would stay away from this menu item altogether though. I was surprised that although the server saw that the salad was barely eaten, he did not acknowledge this and ask if it was okay. Had dinner last night and it was excellent. Our server was superb, personable and efficient. The quality of the food, presentation, could have not been better. Who does this place think they are? Based off the prices on the sushi menu I figured they had the second coming of Christ behind the counter cheffing up so I decided to give it a shot and boy was I wrong. $18 for a spicy tuna roll that was absolute dust and had the seaweed on the outside?? $30 specialty rolls that were completely average. This was our first visit to Max's Grill. We have just moved here from the Chicagoland area. Our table started with the Spinach and cheese appetizer.The appetizer was just o.k. It was a little runny, not very cheesy and not very flavorful. The warm tortilla chips which accompanied the dip were very good. Rachel who was our excellent server brought us seconds of the warm chips. We dined during brunch so I had a $4.00 Bloody Mary which was wonderful. Three of us had the tomato bisque soup which was delicious . Soup was accompanied by a toast crisp with goat cheese, delicious. I had the loaded chicken Cesar which was a very tasty salad. My husband had the bacon wrapped meatloaf which he said was excellent. Our adult children each ordered a salad, one chopped club, and a shrimp salad which they were both pleased with. I requested an oaky Chardonnay to accompany my entree, Rachel brought me a taste of the Stags Leap Chardonnay it was perfect!! Visiting from New York (like who isn't) and stopped here a few times for lunch. Huge place. Lots of outdoor seating. Best part is not only are they dog friendly but there's an awesome dog menu! We were there on 3/18 at about 8 pm. Food was not worth the price. I don't recommend the zoodles - was so bland and dry. The spinach dip was cold with stale chips. Our waitress took the order and we never saw her again. The manager refilled my water glass - thankfully. The waitress, however was extremely attentive to the table next to us that were obviously wealthy - lots of big diamonds and expensive labels. She was at that table, back and forth constantly, and didn't even glance at us when we tried to get her attention. We won't go back. This was "in your face" complete pandering to the wealthy. Bartender here is terrible. I ordered a margarita and it came with no syrup, could not even drink it if I wanted. Changed it for a mojito and the mojito was also missing the basics of sparkling water, it tasted flat. The food was subpar. I had the mushroom flatbread pizza that had way too much sauce on it. Not sure even what the sauce was. The Nashville chicken sandwich was dry and lacked flavor. I will not be returning. read more

My family and I were visiting the area from Boston and we chose this place because of the great reviews it's received on Yelp. First of all, the shopping area that it's located in is adorable~ very classy with lots of great shops and restaurants alike. I liked how there weren't really many restaurant chains, or at least restaurants that aren't really main stream. We definitely wanted something we couldn't get back home. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very aesthetically appealing. I could see where it would be a cool place to get drinks at night~ but during the day it was also really cool looking. We came here on a Sunday afternoon and were seated right away. Our waiter Spencer was so great and full of fun energy. We ordered truffle fries to start and they did not disappoint~ truffle fries in general are probably one of the best things ever so never say no! For my entree I ordered the Caprese chicken melt which apparently was one of the top things on the menu. After I tried it, I could see why it was! This sandwich was everythingggg. From the chicken to the sauce that's in it to the mozzarella cheese~ it certainly didn't disappoint. Without a doubt would recommend this, as well as this restaurant in general! read more

Pet friendly Mizner restaurant offering indoor and outdoor seating. Came on a Sunday, seated promptly at arrival. Sat outside, waiter kindly offered a water bowl for our puppy. Ordered the fresh fish sandwich and subbed out regular french friends for garlic parmesan fries with aioli. Very fresh and delicious Mahi that was cooked perfectly.
