Our first choice,Valentine's was closed, so Mariner's Landing was opened. No reservations needed, and outdoor patio seating is also available. We were greeted by our waitress, Kendall, and welcoming to the formal dining room. The low lightning and warm welcome feeling carried us into the formal dining room. We were quickly seated at our table, and water glasses topped off. Shortly thereafter our waitress took our orders. We began with deep fried Calamari appetizer-cooked golden brown and chewy. We had New England Clam Chowder-creamy and full of clams, followed by our tossed green salads. My boyfriend ordered 1/2 duck dinner with mixed veggies(summer squash, zucchini, with red & yellow bell peppers grilled perfectly. I chose the broiled Seafood Platter, large Haddock filet, with silver dollar sized scallops, and a baked potato topped with butter and sour cream. The meal was so large that I needed a take home container for my shrimp and baked potato. Overall, it was absolutely delightful, our water glasses kept full, and the atmosphere was truly pleasurable, with a window side view of Lake Ontario. We will definitely be back.

The food wasn't great, we got fish and chips, the fish tasted freezer burned, and the coleslaw wasn't very good. The fries were good. The waitress staff was average. Overall I would not go again or recommend it in the future.

I was surprised to see I haven't written a review but I always have a good experience here! For my mom's birthday, she wanted to grab a beer flight and dinner at Live Edge Brewing. We arrived on a Saturday around 4:45pm and took a parking spot close to the entrance. They have a good-size parking lot so no concerns about finding a space. We walked in and saw the "wait to be seated" sign and soon afterward, a young woman came over and asked how many in our party and where we'd like to sit. The three of us decided to sit on their back patio. We picked a table and our waitress soon followed with drink/food menus. All of the tables outside had umbrellas to help shield from the sun, which on this Saturday was out but the temperature was perfect and there was a slight breeze to cool it down a little. The one oddity we had was that our drink menus didn't match as my menu had more taps listed compared to the others I was sitting with, so I ended up getting a drink in my flight they never saw. I slight hiccup but honestly, you can't be too upset with a drink in your hand! Our waitress was young and incredibly personable, friendly, accommodating, answering all our questions about the food and customizing our orders how we wanted them. We might have let it slip that it was my mom's birthday - Our waitress brought her a birthday cake shot to celebrate, which she loved! Our waitress let us take our time sampling our beer flights before placing our food orders. The wait time for our food was very reasonable, maybe 10-15 minutes, I can't remember as we were having too good a time chatting and sipping. For dinner, I ordered their Nashville Hot Chicken Sammy, which is a hand-breaded toaster-oven-baked chicken breast topped with provolone cheese, pickles, and their Nashville hot sauce between a brioche bun and served with a side of tater tots (a small upcharge from their default chips). The sandwich was delicious! Now, for you spice lovers, I didn't find this sandwich very spicy, it was more about the flavor, the tang of the sauce. I didn't mind it not being that spicy, the flavor was excellent! The pickles were thick and had a nice crisp to them and the provolone cheese paired so well with it all. The tater tots were fried perfectly with a crispier exterior but hot, pillowy-soft interior - For the small upcharge, ~$3.00, they were worth it. The portion sizes were perfect as I was perfectly full, I wasn't uncomfortable. The price of my meal was reasonable as well, especially seeing how everything's costing more in 2026. Live Edge Brewing is not only a family favorite but for me, it's a hidden gem. The friendly, laid back, yet still attentive service and country atmosphere have us continuing to come back each New Year's Eve, and now, this could become a new birthday tradition!

We sat at the bar and ordered two pints - one was an Irish cherry and the other was an Irish stout . The stout had a lot of foam so she gave us a bit extra in a sample glass as well . We also ordered the taproom Chips, which were like an order of nachos but with a beer cheese - for $10 it was a decent portion and the perfect snack to accompany our beer . Occasionally they have entertainment, but not that afternoon . It was a nice stop and I would consider coming again if in the area .

None the least, it has finally closed. Probably the best thing to happen to this place. Hopefully the new owners - if ever sold - will do better than this place presented to this small community for many years. We sincerely wonder how they were able to stay open so long! I can understand being open for so long, but if people aren't happy with the food nor the "service", they should have taken the hint years ago, to improve the food quality, and take a giant leap in the upping the service. They didn't, and am so happy to see they have finally taken the final hint. Good riddance!

UnFortunately there aren't a lot of places to eat after. We stumbled upon this place and decided to sit inside since a gentleman (we assume the owner) was outside with 3 tall cans of wasp spray, several beers and a sketchy dog. Total turn off -- you can see he was spraying that spray regularly judging by the wetness on the sidewalk. The sign said we can sit ourselves and we were eventually greeted by a bartender (think 90's Tara Reed). She was kind-- but not an excellent server/bartender. She's easily overwhelmed and forgetful. Overall the interior is dirty and dusty and don't get me started on the filthy bathrooms. If it weren't for our hungry kid we would have left. We decided to only order frozen "fried" foods in fear or food poisoning and cross contamination of any "fresh" meat options. Again, Jon Taffer, where are you, come help this place. The "nacho cheese" for the pretzel appetizer was burned. Clearly it's been sitting in the same warmer and being used for days. The kids chicken nuggets were just chicken tenders..... maybe they were out of nuggets? Or just haven't updated the menu.? The homemade fries look over cooked but are actually undercooked. The "Fred sauce" is ranch and sweet chili sauce mixed. The only decent thing was the onion rings. We Asked for plates multiple times and never got any for our shared appetizer items. Please, wash your floors once in a while. Dust your decor and retrain the staff of EVERYTHING.

When I walked in the waitress looked at me and didn't say anything, so I said "table for one" and she said "you can sit there" and gestured to the table I was standing besides. If this is a type of place that seats yourself, there should be a clear sign saying so. I sat down and she got me a menu. She came back with my drink and I told her I know what I want and she held up a finger for me to wait and said it'll be a few minutes. There was one other group there with me and maybe a couple other tables already sat. If the waitress can't handle the amount of tables there, please hire more staff. She took my order without asking how I wanted my burger done but it didn't take too long for my food, maybe ten minutes. She handed it to me with no napkins (burger and fries is a messy meal) and no Greek sauce to go with the Greek burger. She got me them when I asked. The dirty bathroom with no paper towels was a cherry on top of disappointing service. The food was amazing but the service and environment didn't match it. My suggestions: a sign that says "please seat yourself", more staff or training of current staff and more upkeep on customer spaces
