I was scammed. They knew something was wrong with this car. It ran great on the test drive. Came back to make a purchase. Yes I bought it with no warranty and as is....literally pulling into my driveway with my purchase and it dies. Can't even get a jump start to help. 2k later, and still no luck. Finally got it in a shop, and they tell me the motor is shot. That the dealership must of tricked to motor to at least run good for a while. I'm hurt, and irritated, and pist off. Bought a 2002 Dodge Durango SLT with a 5.9 pretty excited did a test run for about 15 min all was okay until I actually bought the car and drove it off the lot, then my check engine light came back on. On the way home it sputtered and bogged out and finally died on my way home. The dealer cleared the code long enough for me to test drive then when I bought it and drive away problems started arising and car was crap. 2/17/24 I came in to buy a vehicle. They were nice and not pushy but seemed or acted to know nothing about any of the vehicles I inquired about. After trying 6-7 cars that either wouldn't start or had mold and mildew or making terrible noises after starting, I finally came to an 06 Kia optima. Took it out for a drive and everything seemed to be fine except maybe some warped rotors when slowing down and some oil spilled in the engine bay. We negotiated a "discount" and car was sold as is. After I left the dealership, I didn't even make it home when the vehicle completely broke down on me and check engine suddenly appeared, and I had to get it towed from Tacoma to Belfair. A week and a half later, my mechanic is still working on it. Every layer he goes, there's more. Besides the rotors and the oil leak is a crankshaft position and now the timing belt is missing teeth and almost snapped and has to be redone. Mechanic says that the car most likely died because it "jumped time" and that after the timing is redone and everything is put back together, it's not even guaranteed that the vehicle will still run and that there's no way they didn't know about these issues if they even looked at it for 2 seconds. I'm assuming they patched some stuff cleaned some stuff and cleared the codes long enough to reel in a sucker like me. But lesson learned. Over $1000 in towing and repairs and still haven't driven my car more than 15-20 mins. I called and pleaded my case and was offered trade in value for the car towards another vehicle Please don't be fooled by all the Christian quotes and bibles and signs in the office like I was, this place is shady to say the best. Bought a car for my son to drive at college. Seems to be in decent shape but I did find when I got home that the headlights had been replaced with other headlights that were only single bulb and the original Toyota Camry were two bulb systems so the headlights only stayed on high beams and the system would not work at all so I had to pull those out rewire the front plugs that I had to buy also bought two new headlights for it and got the four lamp system working properly after spending them out $600 . I do believe the headlights fall under Safety Systems and I don't think it's legal for them to sell a car that does not have functioning Safety Systems . Lesson learned . Should have checked everything out a little more thoroughly . Hopefully the car will continue to run well. read more

I test drove the car for about 20 min and it was great, was also told the car was a good one. 20 min after pulling out my car was over heating and smoking. I called and obviously no answer... after calling about 5 times I got an answer and they told me it was unfortunate and they will call back and help me out. It has been a week and the car has a blown head gasket, thermostat is just sealed shut, radiator is horrible, belt has chunks out of it, water pump needs replaced and a couple other things. Beware!!! The low prices will draw you in and the owners seem like nice guys. They will even tell you that they will fix anything that goes wrong with the vehicle you buy from them as long as you pay for parts. Don't fall for it! The vehicles they sell are polished terds that won't last you more than a week without a problem arising (in my case 13 hours). When I brought it back to have them fix the problem, it took over a month to fix and to make matters worse it was returned to me with an abundance of miles added to it. I was livid! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!! Read all current reviews. I went here about a week ago looking for a car so that I could get back to work. I bought a car from them going based off of a friends experience. Unfortunately for me, it did not go as well as it did for her. It seems that she had some extremely good luck buying from this "dealership". The first red flag should have been that every single car there was covered in dirt. The second red flag should have been the first car I attempted to test drive where the engine was rocking so hard that I was sure that the motor mounts where going to break. The second car I only took 1/2 a block before I turned around because the breaks were complete trash and would go to the floor with little to no stopping power, no power steering pump, and the air bags were reading as non deploy-able. The person I was working with seemed to have little to no knowledge of vehicles at all. No one could answer any questions I had about the motor, the transmission, the tires, any work that needs to be done, anything. This place is nothing but a scam, but I guess what else are you supposed to expect when you buy something from someone located on Pac Ave and 84th? Every single car needed a jump, telling me that they do not start the cars daily. No one wants to buy a car that's been sitting for god knows how long. I watched someone attempt to test drive a 350Z and the driver door and truck wouldn't stay closed! This place is a joke and honestly should be shut down. Most cars seem to be bought from auction or on trade-in. Little to no work has been done to these vehicles to make them drive-able. Avoid this place AT ALL COSTS!!!!! You will more than likely end up with a project car or stranded on the side of the road. I have had the car for about 6 days at this point, maybe put 30 miles on it and now it sits and wont even start. I highly recommend that you DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING SAYING THAT YOU WAIVE IMPLIED WARRANTY! Small business that's says they are too new to offer any warranty. Could not even buy one. When I saw their ad for the car I purchased the price was 1590. Once I got there the ad was 1690. I thought I may have misread it but when I got home the page was still up on my computer and the price was 1590. I bought a Galant and shortly noticed the car losing oil. I just had a mechanic check it out and it is pretty bad. Seals are leaking all over the engine. The rack and pinion needs replaced. The timing belt needs replaced. All told the repairs will cost close to 4K. That doesn't take into account issues with the heater system and dying window motors. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

GO TO ***IN AND OUT AUTO SALES, PUYALLUP, WHERE I HAD A BETTER EXPERIENCE AFTER SELLING BACK MY "USED LEMON" FROM SKYLINE MOTORS...*** i believe Victor lied when i asked if the car(2011 prius) had any leaks because i saw a leak stain under the car, citing they move the cars around and it could be from any other one, saying "i guarantee there are no leaks and any leak is a simple hose or gasket fix that would cost only a few hundred dollars at any mexican garage." then i took the car to toyota and had it inspected after purchasing and they told me it had a coolant leak which would cost $6k to repair (head gasket and cylinder replacement) and i paid $5500 for the thing. the check engine indicator came on after i drove off the lot. i asked for a refund on the car the next day and Victor and Elijah refused, recommending i get a second opinion, telling me that worst case, they could buy the car back for $3200. Victor even told Elijah in front of me, arguing dishonestly that he only specifically guaranteed there were no "OIL" leaks, but i remember asking specifically about all leaks and he said what he said. so i went to another well reputed engine specialist in seattle and they reported pretty much the same thing needing repairs at the same price. i ended up having to sell it back to them at $3k and then Victor wrote my check out wrong so then the bank took $50 out of my account due to his clerical error and i had to drive all the way back down from seattle for my $50. the mechanics/my friends and family told me to report this dealership to the DOL dealership division and the state attorney general if they didnt refund me, the attorney general's office have now opened an investigation. this transaction also had a couple of moments where the staff were rude to add insult to financial injury. read more

Beware of their training to delay commitments after sale ... dealers are under no obligation to fix things post sale when sold as-is unless immediate safety issue like smashed windshield. But, also be aware that no dealer can sell car as-is if they sell extended service contract to you as well ... they cannot avoid implied warranty with this, but they can without it. Washington laws are clear and simple ... the one that appears relevant is RCW 48.96.045(4). There are lots of time limits that work in favor of dealers when they delay. read more

Avoid this place like the plague. They do not properly inspect vehicles that they have worth a damn, they get trade ins and put them on the lot for sale without knowing a thing about the vehicle. According to the "manager" they don't even have a car fax account which means they know as much about the car as you do :) I came into the dealership to test drive a van posted on craigslist described as "very clean inside and out". Upon arrival I look around the vehicle and take it for a test drive, nothing too crazy. The Van clearly needs an alignment there is clunking in the suspension and as the drive continues a clear smell of burning oil. Okay it's an older vehicle I'm not expecting the world here. I asked the "manager/salesman" if the vehicle has been inspected by them and he says yes it went through their shop. We negotiate price a bit and I decide to take the van to a nearby shop that the "manager" said was nearby. I take the van over there pay for the 151 point inspection. The van is put on the lift and the underside of this thing could fill buckets with the amount of oil spewing from this poor neglected van. The entire undercarriage of this van is drenched in oil to the point where oil droplets are forming and DRIPPING ONTO OUR FACES. The rest of the inspection is less important with this information but basically here is the rest of it. Brakes bad, suspension bad, tires ok, seals and gaskets bad, surface rust on multiple engine components, ac ok, heater ok. The rotors on this van looked like they were never changed. SURE IT IS A 97 I DO NOT EXPECT THIS VAN TO NOT NEED WORK, but with this being said Skyline Motors either did 0 inspection of this van when they purchased it on trade in, or they knew that the underside of this van looked like a water fall and I'm not sure which is worse. This van needs about 4-5 thousand dollars worth of work according to the shop. When i told the mechanics at the shop that this van was from Skyline Motors they laughed and said this was expected from this dealership. Low Quality all around. Why am I stuck with paying $80 for an all around inspection for a vehicle, that if i bought it in 2 days time it's going to have 0 oil in it and the engine will be gone? Low quality low customer service. I asked for a refund on this $80 that I spent to basically do the dealership's inspection for them. I explained to the "manager" why am I paying to tell you guys things about this van that for one should be fixed before you're posting this van publicly for sale, and secondly you guys have 3 full service bays on your lot if you inspected this van for 15 seconds you would notice that the oil leakage on this is SO terrible that the van shouldn't even be driven AT ALL. The "manager's" response is that the technicians MUST of missed 3 quarts of oil coating the entire undercarriage of this poor van.... Just a complete joke of a company I don't know when they opened but I would be surprised to see them open next year. I guess this is expected when Skyline Motor's doesn't allow any reviews to be posted on their Facebook page. Bottom line STAY AWAY. So I contacted Victor about a 93 Honda Accord. I told him I would be driving 4 hours to come possibly purchase it. The photos looked good. The post said it ran great, low miles for that year of Honda, 80% tread on the tires, power locks, good stereo system, etc... let me tell you. we get there and Victor greets us and says he is going to grab the keys. He returns, hands us the keys and says if we have questions find him and he walked off. Didn't even give us 30 seconds of his time. So we proceed to look at the car... windshield was cracked going down the right side and across the bottom, it looked like it had been shot 3 times with a bebe gun. There was power nothing as far as locks windows etc... there was no stereo, no glove box, the trunk had a puddle of water in it and then would not stay shut when we tried to close it. The radiator reserve was empty and there was caked on oil all on the underside of the engine.The tires did not have 80% tread rather 80% missing. Definitely not worth the price. The amount of money I spent in gas was worth more than the $1400 they wanted for this car. Its not worth it and I would be very careful purchasing anything from here. I wish I would have taken pictures of the piece of junk but I was so mad that I left. read more
