This is a great little spot for a Teriyaki lunch. I've been here at least 30 times, and I probably should have written a review a long time ago. Everything I have had on the Teriyaki menu is excellent, but I am more than a little skeptical of the sushi. If you're in the area and have a craving for something Teriyaki for lunch, this place is an excellent choice. If you're brave enough to try the sushi, knock yourself out. read more

Sometimes you want to be pampered and served a delicious meal and treated like royalty. That's when you never come here. I mean the food is good enough and the prices are reasonable. After another visit not long ago, I finally decided that would be my last. Thinking about other past visits, the warm sushi rolls, mushy and gray avocado, etc. the decision was easy to make. The reason is the shrimp and vegetable tempura did not come with any rice like it did before and when I asked them about that, they said "no they do not serve rice, only shrimp and vegetable tempura". It did come with miso soup, though. The majority of Asians prefer rice with their entree. The brocolli tempura was again not cooked, not crispy, sticky and doughey inside. Imagine biting into a brocolli head that was soaked in tempura dough and only half cooked so you actually bite into a sticky, doughey mess. Also, they did not cook my order up fresh when ordered. It was made beforehand and all they did was prepare the takeout plate, pour a cup of miso soup, add the items into a bag and after only a short drive home, it was already cold. I should have known better than to order it again, but I thought maybe this time... oh well, maybe not. Zero point. Good luck. read more

Got the crunch roll and large chicken bowl. If I had just gotten the roll I would have given this place 1 star only. It was soggy, bland and loosely rolled so that it fell apart easily. Luckily I got the chicken bowl as well. Good portion and really tasty. The food came out quick and the cashier was nice. This may be my new go-to spot for teriyaki cravings. read more

My dad and I went there because the delicious Japanese Castle was unfortunately closed and this place is right next door. The inside is old school and not well maintained. The service was slow but most importantly their food was disgusting! We ordered a large beef/chicken teriyaki plate, California roll and 2 hot shot or named something like that. The beef for the teriyaki plate was soggy, that "hot shot" or whatever roll was gross and the California roll had brown avocado...needless to say $37 dollars later, we threw majority away because we just could not eat anymore..don't waste your money! read more

I took a chance on this establishment because I was HUNGRY & I refill my water across the street @ wateria .. I was very disappointed in the chicken / beef combo bowl .. I paid about $7 for nothing .. Mystery beef ? And I think my chicken was on a crack diet .. With their skimpy ass portions .. More rice less meat with teriyaki sauce that tastes CHEAP ! This place has the best teriyaki chicken bowls for a fair price. I usually come here 2-3 times a week for lunch ( I work around the corner). The owner always says hi to me and is quick to take my order. Some people complain that the lights are dimmed during the day, I don't mind it. If you're really hungry I recommend getting the large chicken bowl, this holds me over for hours. read more

KISS, keep it simple silly lol! If you order the chicken bowl you're set. The bowls are cost effective and pretty good. This spot is definitely not the most lively place to eat but they do have a giant tv that usually is on either nature shows :) or tru tv meh.
