Thin crust was crispy and delish

We were in Yukon today to visit family and stopped by this Yukon Mazzio's location and it was great. We got the lunch buffet and the salad bar was fresh and stocked and we asked for a special pizza that came out hot and delicious! We found out that they have new owners/management and Jimmy was great. He was friendly and went out his way to make everyone happy. The restaurant was super clean with tons of TV's. We will definitely go back when in Yukon.

    a coup of $ 99

I grew up eating Mazzio's Pizza it is an Oklahoma institution. Every small town in the state with more than a couple of thousand people has 3 things: a post office, a Mazzio's and a Sonic. It's a thing, a good thing. I have read the reviews on here and don't think most of them are fair. A chain pizzeria can't be held to the kind of standard that we hold dining. They should also not be disparaged because their clientele want them to be open in the middle of the night. All that said, here was my experience today. It's FREEZING and the last thing I wanted to do was go outside again, and the fridge is empty, and even with all the delivery options out there, Mazzio's is still one of the first things that comes to mind when delivery is needed. I found a coupon for a $8.99 calzone which sounded amazing - I even put a screen cap of the coupon in the photos, in case you are interested. I ordered the 4 meat/4 cheese calzone, a side salad and a bottle of diet soda - perfect cold evening cheat meal. Even with delivery it was all $20 and while they said it would be 45 minutes, it took less than half an hour. The delivery driver was lovely, she was understanding of my ridiculous barking dog who weighs all of 25 pounds but thinks he is the chief protector of his castle. She offered to get extra cheese or pepper flakes from the car, and just made for a pleasant delivery experience. Every thing came as advertised and the salad especially was fresh and perfect. And it you haven't had the pleasure, Mazzio's makes the best ranch dressing around. Overall, when you want delivery, Mazzio's is a consistent option.

These are the $14 "boneless chicken wings"!!

My husband and I were passing thru OKC on the way to NC. We pulled up yelp and saw good ratings for this place. We proceeded to order, pasta, a salad, boneless chicken wings and garlic toast. I feel I should of put all the items ordered in italics as I would have preferred to use the term absolute slop. I have NEVER written a review on yelp but after the meal we received I felt morally compelled to advise others to NOT order from this place. I could have run to Walmart and done a better job of constructing a meal for us in a hotel room than the $60 we spent at Mazzio's. To begin with the the garlic toast was a stale hoagie bun sprinkled with cheddar cheese. Next, our appetizers, which consisted of 5 frozen chicken nuggets that we paid over $14 each for 2 servings of. They were not seasoned as advertised and not the boneless chicken wings as advertised. I post a photo of the pathetic presentation below. The salad I ordered was a bag of shredded lettuce with more cheddar cheese on top, packaged croutons and bottled Italian dressing. The only item that was passable was the chicken and pasta dish. Luckily there was a Sonic nearby and we are enjoying hot dogs for dinner. Needless to say, we will be requesting a refund from DoorDash who somehow gave this place a 4.5 star rating. Un-Fing-believable. Be warned, do not order from this place.

Once seated we were right under a a/c vent we ended up freezing, so thats a plus after a hot day! They had big fans going too which made it hard to hear anything. Not sure why they were running it was plenty cool inside. We ended seated next to the bar and the girl running it was also our waitress. She was running around like the place was packed but took forever for her to even take our order and bring us the bread. The dipping oil had no flavor, not even salt. My drink was suppose to be alcoholic but that was a no go either. We even knew when our dinner was ready because the back of the house had hit the bell several times, but she was too busy wiping out containers behind the bar, and continued doing other stuff while they repeated hitting the bell. It was when she noticed I was looking straight at her that maybe she should stop and go check. Once the dinners arrived, it was even BIGGER disappointment. There was hardly any sauce, absolutely no seasoning, or flavor for that matter. Even parts of the pasta edging was dried out, and hardly any chicken pieces in the bowtie pasta. You can see in the pictures where i pulled what chicken was in the meal up to the top and no seasoning. We also had dirty silverware that we never got a chance to exchange because once we were served she didn't come back. We ended up leaving hungry and dissatisfied.

The kind of place where you walk in and immediately trust the room because clearly a lot of people have already made this decision before you. Even with the crowd, the place still felt fun. Lively. A little chaotic. But the kind of chaos that says the kitchen is putting up numbers. It felt like everybody came for the same reason and nobody was leaving mad. Though there were many seating options close to where I entered for the host to seat me, he took me alllll the way to the back corner. By the kitchen. Either he was trying to hide me from incoming customers, or he was trying to cut down on the steps for the server. If I were in his position, I probably would have done the same thing. After driving 700 miles, I may look less than presentable. I can't tell, my eyes are half open. Good thing for you that I stopped for the night. The menu is filled with Italian fare. I opted for the lasagna. That's my go to. I've had plenty of it across the U.S. I'll let you know how this version tastes. They say it's made from scratch. I'm hoping better than Stouffers. Although Stouffers is pretty darn good. It just arrived. That didn't take long at all. Ahhhh!! Piping hot! I think that I'll type a few lines to give it a chance to cool. The sauce is great and the bread crunchy. I'm glad that I got a beer to accompany my meal. It's going to come in handy. I was debating on getting one, as I have room beer back at the hotel. But, when in Rome...ha! I'm eating Italian. How appropriate for that worn idiom. Time to dive in.....it's cool now. Wow! Now, I'm impressed. This plate of lasagna is really good. It even has a slight kick to it. An unexpected pleasure. It won't take me long to finish. Dang! It's really good. For this weary traveller, I wish it were bigger. I better get on with the eating. My server, Kaleb, has stopped by the table 4 times asking if everything is OK. Wait! LoL, make that 5. Since being seated, my section is starting to fill up. That must be why the push is on. Ok,ok, young one, I'm eating, I'm eating. Give the Hideaway your business. Decent prices, good service, and great food. More importantly, I will have finished my meal, so your table will be ready upon your arrival. Ha,ha! Make that 6! That Kaleb is sure attentive. Quick Tip: Ask for more napkins. They're fairly small. You can get pretty messy when attempting to eat and type at the same time. LoL!!! My poor phone. Well, there you go. I'll have a snack with my room beer.

From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere is inviting -- warm, relaxed, and perfect for anything from a casual night out to a fun evening with friends. Crimson Pizza -- A Personal Favorite Let me start with the highlight of my visit: the Crimson pizza. This classic pepperoni pie quickly became one of my all-time favorites in the OKC area. The crust deserves its own standing ovation -- perfectly crispy on the outside, light and chewy within, and robust enough to hold up all the flavorful toppings without ever getting soggy. Every bite is a delightful balance of texture and taste, and it genuinely stands out among local pizza offerings. The pepperoni is generous and savory, the house red sauce has a rich, tangy warmth, and the cheese melts with just the right stretch -- truly a comfort food masterpiece that hits all the right notes. Whether you stick with this classic or explore other creative pizzas on the menu, you're in for a treat. More Than Just Pizza What sets this place apart is how it pairs great pizza with a relaxed winery vibe. They craft their own wines in-house, and there's a solid selection of local craft beers too -- perfect for sipping while you wait for your pizza. The outdoor patio is especially charming, and they even host live music on many weekends, making it an ideal spot for lingering long after your last slice. Overall Experience The Flower Shop isn't just a pizzeria -- it's a destination. From scratch-made dough to unique ambiance and excellent drinks, it's a gem that locals and visitors alike should experience. If you're a pizza lover in the OKC area and haven't tried the Crimson pizza yet, do yourself a favor -- it's worth the trip.
