We got the lunch buffet and the salad bar was fresh and stocked and we asked for a special pizza that came out hot and delicious! We found out that they have new owners/management and Jimmy was great. He was friendly and went out his way to make everyone happy. The restaurant was super clean with tons of TV's. We tried mazzios for dinner after hearing about it being under new ownership. We walked in and it smelled clean and they had lights turned on so we could actually see what the building looked like! The employees were professional and greeted us at the counter and were very patient and happy to answer any of our questions while ordering. The salad bar was fresh and all the toppings were fresh. I wish they would add eggs back to the salad bar because that's one of my favorite toppings for my salad! The pizza was hot and delicious when it arrived to our table. The new owner Jimmy came over and thanked us for stopping in and offered my daughter a coloring page to add to his wall of art! The employees were very friendly and happy to help or get anything we needed after our food was brought out. My only complaint would be that the pricing is going to scare away a lot of customers. We got two large pizzas a hoagie and two salad bars and 4 drinks and the total was barely over $70. I don't mind supporting locally owned businesses versus large chain which is why I happily paid for everything and enjoyed our meal as a family. But a lot of people are fixed income or only have one income and can't afford to pay prices that high regularly to enjoy their favorite food! I would definitely recommend specials or even happy hour. I love mazzios and want to be able to enjoy it anytime I start craving a good salad or a bomb pizza without worrying about if I can afford it or not. Other than that I have 0 complaints. The problems that I witnessed during our visit were corrected immediately and the customer was compensated for their time and patience. I grew up eating Mazzio's Pizza it is an Oklahoma institution. Every small town in the state with more than a couple of thousand people has 3 things: a post office, a Mazzio's and a Sonic. It's a thing, a good thing. I have read the reviews on here and don't think most of them are fair. A chain pizzeria can't be held to the kind of standard that we hold dining. They should also not be disparaged because their clientele want them to be open in the middle of the night. All that said, here was my experience today. It's FREEZING and the last thing I wanted to do was go outside again, and the fridge is empty, and even with all the delivery options out there, Mazzio's is still one of the first things that comes to mind when delivery is needed. I found a coupon for a $8.99 calzone which sounded amazing - I even put a screen cap of the coupon in the photos, in case you are interested. I ordered the 4 meat/4 cheese calzone, a side salad and a bottle of diet soda - perfect cold evening cheat meal. Even with delivery it was all $20 and while they said it would be 45 minutes, it took less than half an hour. The delivery driver was lovely, she was understanding of my ridiculous barking dog who weighs all of 25 pounds but thinks he is the chief protector of his castle. She offered to get extra cheese or pepper flakes from the car, and just made for a pleasant delivery experience. Every thing came as advertised and the salad especially was fresh and perfect. And it you haven't had the pleasure, Mazzio's makes the best ranch dressing around. Overall, when you want delivery, Mazzio's is a consistent option. read more

My husband and I were passing thru OKC on the way to NC. We pulled up yelp and saw good ratings for this place. We proceeded to order, pasta, a salad, boneless chicken wings and garlic toast. I feel I should of put all the items ordered in italics as I would have preferred to use the term absolute slop. I have NEVER written a review on yelp but after the meal we received I felt morally compelled to advise others to NOT order from this place. I could have run to Walmart and done a better job of constructing a meal for us in a hotel room than the $60 we spent at Mazzio's. To begin with the the garlic toast was a stale hoagie bun sprinkled with cheddar cheese. Next, our appetizers, which consisted of 5 frozen chicken nuggets that we paid over $14 each for 2 servings of. They were not seasoned as advertised and not the boneless chicken wings as advertised. I post a photo of the pathetic presentation below. The salad I ordered was a bag of shredded lettuce with more cheddar cheese on top, packaged croutons and bottled Italian dressing. The only item that was passable was the chicken and pasta dish. Luckily there was a Sonic nearby and we are enjoying hot dogs for dinner. It's unusual for me to post a poor review but I'm making an exception. My husband and I ordered a pizza last night and received the wrong order.it wouldn't have been a big deal as we understand it's easy to make a mistake in any business. The big problem was when I called to let them know, the person that took my call kept telling me I was wrong and kept talking over me to tell me how much I didn't understand. She never listened to me explain it couldn't be the large we paid for but kept telling me I didn't know what I was talking about. Even when I told her it was only 8 slices. She was rude, determined to be right and never considered they might have made a mistake. We paid $35 for a medium pizza, salad and small dessert with a coupon that was $11.99 for a large pizza. They sent the wrong size, toppings and crust. If she had been nice, offered an apology or anything resembling customer service, I would have said no problem just wanted to let you know! We have never had a bad experience with Mazzio's until today. I placed an online order for a small order of wings tossed in bbq with a side of buffalo sauce & ranch, a regular crust pizza with beef & extra Ken's sauce, and a thin crust supreme minus the mushrooms & green peppers and add black olives & jalapenos. We recieved 5 wings in bbq & 5 in buffalo, a beef pizza with light sauce & extra cheese, and a thin supreme with everything plus jalapenos & black olives. We did get the side of ranch but not the side of buffalo sauce. I ordered online at 1220. The wrong order arrived at 1310. I called & explained this to the lady who answered the phone. She listened & went to talk to the kitchen. She came back to the phone saying they said they did not mess it up but she would remake it herself. At 1443, our remade order arrived - still wrong. The supreme pizza was the only one made correctly. My wife called & relayed all this to another lady who stated there was nothing she could do at this point. I don't understand how there is nothing to be done - just make it correctly! Corporate office will be getting a call Monday about this unprofessional mess. read more

Okay so I ordered their Italian Sampler and a pizza during the OU/OSU game and I knew I had made a mistake whwn I called 799-9999...the rep was RUDE as hell then lied and said our food would be here in 15 minutes...I knew that was a straight up lie....received the food and the pizza dough was so undercooked that it stuck to the box...the sampler was microwaved and VERY rubber like and soggy. I called back and advised the rep that Im not asking for a handout nor a re-order but just wanted to let you guys know that this location puts out horrible food!!! Also, be advised that if you are an hourly employee at your employer, do not visit this location for lunch, the last 3 attempts I made to visit their buffet, between 11:00 am and Noon, they either hadn't started or had just started Preparing for the lunch buffet, and you will waste your valuable time.
