This was a different visit from our last Hideaway Pizza experience.. our- as my family and myself. There is a second floor at this location!! We were greeted by the friendly gals and guys at the door.. There is an upper level for guests to sit. The bar area is large, and this location also has an outdoor patio!!! We love the scenic view of this part of OKC!! It's well lit up at night and seems like a pleasant quiet gathering part of town! Only thing is, not really a gripe or a con.. trust me, the ambiance takes over that we didn't get our drinks until our food arrived. We all ordered soft drinks, not adult beverages. Maybe the table server was bombarded, I don't know. We didn't get rude or snarky with her. However, we did remind her about the salads that arrived after our pizza. It happens. I showed up at this establishment hungry and tired. I was ready to eat some food so I ordered the BBQ Chicken Wings. When my food came it smelled good but the taste was intolerable. My chicken had blood on the inside and veins in the meat. It was ass and I do not recommend it to anyone who wants to digest good food. I have ordered many times from the store on western in Oklahoma City and the food has always been really good but this time I ordered a chicken sandwich to go and the top bun was so hard. We haven't been here in a while but we truly enjoy grabbing some call ahead pizza and wings from Hideaway. We've had several different pizzas over the course of time but really enjoy the old standard combo. We often also grab a large salad to share because balanced pizza meals are good. Pizzas are always hot and ready when we pick them up. Staff is always smiling and working hard. We have eaten in a couple of times and the atmosphere is clean and friendly as well. There isn't a lot of noise and temperature isn't a problem as it often is in restaurants. Looking forward to our next pizza and wing night! read more

Let's talk about the new Hide-A-Burger "cheeseburger" pizza. It's a "nope" for me. Whatever the "glaze" is tastes sour almost like a balsamic glaze, Certainly not mustard or ketchup based or anything else you'd expect on a cheeseburger pizza. The topping sauce is basically 1000 Island dressing. The pickles were diced and could barely be tasted and should be added as a fresh garnish after cooking. Time in a high temp oven made them taste weird, The whole thing seemed like a mash up of existing ingredients plus pickles. Missed opportunity not well executed. read more

I've always ordered online, order(s) have been ready as expected when I arrive, maybe 1 or 2 minor issues with previous orders that is was corrected promptly before I left. One issue caused additional wait time of 7 minutes, both pizzas were remade so everything was fresh when I left. Little bit more pricey versus other places, but the portion size and quality is worth it. We decided to try the wings tonight, 18 wings for $23.99, we got 2 orders, buffalo, and garlic/Parmesan wings. I'm not a fan of tabasco, majority of wings have that taste. Hideaway has consistently good pizza! I always add the beginner salad-sometimes I'll load up on fried mushrooms so I can wax nostalgic of my days in Stillwater. * only 4 stars because I now have to check my salads in take out orders-they often forget to add the salad dressing. read more

Im a "regular," and enjoy dining at Hideaway. This time, however, at least half the crust was obviously burnt. I debated: (even asked fellow bar patron's opinion) then, ultimately, opted to WHINE. I genuinely look forward to having their (purposefully large) crust, with honey,* for dessert. The Hideaway Staff immediately responded to my complaint. SECOND pizza: redone and properly baked pie was out in a flash. YAY!! ~ EXCEPT, for the noticeable reduction in the topping amount. BOO!!! Feeling a little punished; still, Pizza #2 smelled inviting and looked delish. (I was offered Pizza #3, but declined.) Hostess(?) Carla was welcoming and friendly to my ESA pup. Milla, my favorite Bartender at the Western location, was professional and attentive to both of us ~ promptly providing Millie water and remembering my preferred wine (so nice). With just bit more attention from the kitchen peeps, tonight's experience could have been much better. Nonetheless, Hideaway is a good local chain. Stop in. Stay awhile. Ask for Honey*. It's Domino's, it's Papa John's. It's that basic level of take out pizza that is better than frozen and a slight level above Little Caesar's. Not sure why the five star reviews. There was nothing wrong with it. Probably would make zero effort to order it again. The pizza itself was baked well. I wish I had the opportunity to add extra cheese, maybe I missed it in the list of toppings. I would order this before I ever order a "take and bake" pie. I ordered carry out, the service at the carry out entrance was fine. The pizza was probably better than that sloppy mess I received from "The Wedge," who is trying to put itself out there as something else. Nothing to complain about but nothing to rave about. Had Hideaway for a work lunch event today. I'm not a big pizza person but I had a slice of the chicken Florentine pizza and it was delicious. The large salad we had with black olives, tomatoes, and pepperoncini was delicious. The tomatoes were plentiful and largely diced just like I like them in a salad. My favorite wedge salad only exists here.. the pizza was also delicious and satisfying. Fried mushroom are huge and so dang good. We didn't get dessert this time we were too full. I haven't been to Hideaway in years since I moved but I definitely wasn't disappointed when I came back with family. We ordered a lot and had tons of leftovers but it was nice to try the different pizzas! My nieces got the kids cheese pizza & it was a perfect size. The moscow mule was just okay, wouldn't recommend. Fried Pickles - Everything is better fried, except Hideaway's Pickles. This is quite possibly the most disgusting thing I've tried to eat. Fried but limp. No crunch at all. The flavor was difficult to distinguish because of all the salt. I tried a number of them before tossing the dish into trash. It tasted like someone just dumped a salt shaker into the mix. Came here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon around 2pm, and it wasn't crowded! Our server Allison was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The mozzerella sticks were amazing!!!! And so were the fried mushrooms, which doesn't sound great if you haven't had them before, but they actually were very juicy and delicious. This is an excellent and cool Hideaway Pizza location primarily because it has two floors. The building is designed and architected in a unique way so as to be circularly arranged with views from windows at all tables. I got the "Paradise Pie" specialty pizza, along with an order of the fried pickles and their "famous" fried mushrooms - accompanied by a root beer float (in a big ass glass, more like goblet), an iced tea and their excellent trademark lemon ice box pie (all pictured). The pizza at this location somehow tasted better compared to the other locations I've been to - but rather unscientifically dis not compare same dishes at different places but different ones. Anyway, you should check out this Hideaway Pizza location at least for the reason it's housed in a cool two-story building! read more

Cute location! Hadn't been to this one yet. Had the energy of being understaffed but with a bunch of high schoolers running the carry out area. My experience was decently smooth enough though. Took a while for them to pick up the phone to take my carry out order, but placing the order was efficient, and everything was correct when I received it. Their estimated pick up time of 45 minutes was correct. The women's bathroom was running out of toilet paper, and I told the host on my way out, so hopefully that got fixed kind of quickly. All around, it felt kind of chaotic, but my food was great, hot, correct, and on time. Da Bomb is my personal favorite from Hideaway-- a grown up Hawaiian pizza for pineapple on pizza lovers. The Sicilian really hit the spot last night though. The globs of red sauce on top of the pizza is so good and fun. And the spicy fried pickles were a great new discovery! I usually get the 50/50, but wow the spicy on the fried pickles made them really stand out. The ranch and "special sauce" that came with them were both so good as always. I'll be thinking about the fried pickles for a while. I really really love Hideaway's food. read more

Four year review update (10/23/23): Downgrading rating from 4 stars to 3 stars. Though the pizza is delicious, the prices for a large pizza, tax, and tip are absolutely outrageous. Easy $30-35 for a pizza. This is unacceptable considering there are other pizza places in town that are just as good for less money. Hideaway needs to lower their prices. read more

I was unpleasantly surprised by lack of flavor in the food here. Especially considering the high prices. A large Paradise Pie is $23 after tax. I get a tastier very similar pizza at the takeout near my home for only $6.99! I'm amazed people will pay so much for mediocre pizza (I've had better from Domino's). The only winners in our meal were the delicious fried mushrooms and some decent mozzarella sticks. Everything else was blah. Hand-tossed pizzas we ordered had too little sauce and cheese with an abundance of tasteless airy crust. Bacon alfredo pasta was the same, sauce much too thin and sparse. Boneless wings were dry and hard. Garlic bread like frozen from a grocery store. I can't comment on the atmosphere or table service as this was takeout. But as disappointing as this meal was, I'm not sure we'll be back. read more
