I am SO happy that I tried this place, it was phenomenal! I am the ultimate sourdough girl, and theirs did not disappoint. The bread was warm and fresh. Sandwiches are incredible as well as the soup! Their prices are better than any of the chain sandwich places too, under $15 for a full size combo is hard to beat. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Don't waste your time . Nothing to see here. Food is ok , very little meat , by the way bread is good - and that's the only thing that is good . Service was ok , server was not on the nice side , maybe had a bad day or because they only open a few hours a day . Prices are high for what you're paying for. Simple Firehouse Sub are better. More meat . Stupid busy lunch time . Small seating area . Probably will go back if we n the area , but will never ever drive an extra mile to eat there . I have been wanting to try this place for months. Their limited weekday workday hours (and the distance factor) prevented me from trying them. Well, spring break came to town, and I had to go to Boise for a doctor's appointment. Afterwards, I drove down here. It was a little confusing to find at first, given the maze of doctor's offices around it, but I'm glad I did. Very friendly people, BIG subs, tons of meat, and great service all around. Ham & turkey sandwich is recommended. You'll get full quick. The soda machine was down when I visited but it should be back up soon. Only open 11-2:30PM M-F, so their main audience is the office workers within 1/2 mile distance. If I end up moving down to the valley, I'll try to order more often. Highly recommended. read more

Downgrading my opinion to only 4 stars. I have been frequenting this shop for 2 years now. I always order the Traditional Club and pay extra for it. This is the last time. I ordered the Traditional Club and I NEVER GET THE BACON! They are in such a hurry, they always forget the bacon. This is like the 4th time in a year! I PAID EXTRA for bacon! Well, the 5 is primarily due to great friendly service. The food was very good so a 4 there. I had the Hot "open face" Italian sandwich. I was told it was "spicy" but far from it. Still, liked it but would have wanted a little more heat and some marinara sauce would have been nice (the Italian in me). The Wisconsin Cheese soup was tasty but too much for me to finish. Great sandwiches! Their bread is the best deli bread in the area....soft, crusty and flavorful. The meat is quality with lots of choices for any flavor combination you might be craving. The veggies are fresh, crisp and plentiful. Soup is homemade and full of fresh ingredients. Busy place but they have a good team that keeps it moving even when packed with hungry customers. Finally went to try their sandwiches. Not going lie took some time trying to locate the shop because it's nestled in a business area. If you go it's across from T Mobile in Meridian. Place was decorated nicely and roomy. Fast service and staff really nice. The bread is my favorite...crispy on outside but soft inside. I wish they just sell their bread...it's so so good. You get tons of thinly sliced meats plus extra goodies too. Sandwiches are great tasting, great quality and reasonable priced. Definitely worth trying out! read more

Very tasty sandwiches and the workers were very friendly and helpful. I tried the Italian fully loaded and it was delicious. Their bread and meat are excellent. I was concerned about the bread being too dense (carbs aren't friendly to me) but it wasn't and was surprisingly spot on. This is definitely one of the best sandwich joints in the valley. My only recommendation to them would be to have a soda fountain carrying coke products and to step up the dessert game (not that it'd stop me from coming back but it'd make me more motivated to make the drive). There's a pad by the Hilton in Eagle - you should put a location there with the aforementioned improvements. ;) read more

Tastes like home, but even better. That bread is fantastic and watching it bake in the oven is a special treat. I was greeted upon entering by a very nice, enthusiastic woman that informed me bacon clam chowder is the soup of the day. She proceeded to tell me about the popular sandwiches and tells me to take my time, but I was already sold on the number 4. I then went to the cashier and paid for my food and told they would bring it to me. The dining room is like a cafeteria so no where for me to sit and not see them call my name with my food. The ambiance in in here is quaint and delightful. The classic rock is also a huge plus. After getting my food brought to me, I went right to the clam chowder and sourdough bread, and it was perfect. Didn't need more salt, more pepper, or more cream. It was just right. The bread is also soft inside with the slightest bit of crunch on the outside. Next I went to the sandwich and it was perfectly placed inside that delicious bread. Every bite was a treasure I never want to let go of. My only wish was that they had a side fountain, as I don't particularly like the bottled soda, but other than that, it was a terrific find on a random Friday. read more
