I wanted to try the new Impossible Burger, which is a vegan patty that is sold at select restaurants. I called MC Kitchen last week to make sure the whole preparation was vegan, and the host or whomever I spoke told me it was. I asked about vegan cheese and aioli, and got the go-ahead! Turns out that is not true. It can't be made vegan (unless you want it in just lettuce). I don't have a problem if they don't serve it vegan, but please don't tell me that it is vegan over the phone. Also, at the end of the experience, we (a party of 5 coworkers) had $23 cash plus credit card. For some reason, the server Ymari thought the whole $23 was her tip and went ahead and charged the full price to the card. Never once did we say it was a "tip" or "for her". When a meal ends you pay for the meal first and the tip second. It was also weird because $23 would have been a 30%+ tip, when one of us LITERALLY was not able to eat. Anyway, seemed like a simple mistake on her part that could be easily correctable, but she gave such attitude and made it very clear how irritated she was by having to process it all over again. She actually didn't end up fixing her mistake, and asked us to just pocket the cash so she wouldn't have to redo it. Also, the busser also seemed annoyed we asked for tap water. read more

Their knowledgable service staff will guide you through their adventurous daily specials and ever changing menu of inventive and classic interpretations of modern Italian gastronomy. Even the gregarious chef-owner Dena came to our table and made us feel if we were dining in her own home. I had a beautiful glass of Nebbiolo with my starter of Bibb lettuce with a montage of additions and a drizzle savory maple vinaigrette. Followed by a one of a kind fiocchi dish topped with fresh white truffle slices with what would seem oxymoronic, a light and airy cream sauce laced with micro diced Bosh pears. It was recommended by the bartender, and after the first bite I actually said, "This just made my list of favorite dishes--I just have to figure out where it ranks." The pasta was cooked absolutely perfectly. The white sauce was rich without being overly buttery or salty, which is saying something because I'm usually not a huge fan of cream sauces. Every bite was balanced, silky, and incredibly flavorful. The texture, seasoning, and execution were simply flawless. We also shared a fresh salad that complemented everything perfectly. From the ambiance to the service, the wine, and one of the best pasta dishes I've had in a long time, Casa Tua Cucina earned every one of these five stars. Bravo!

We sat outside and the live music was a little loud - perhaps acoustic, rather than electronic music would be better in the space. But a delightful delicious meal that warrants a return visit.
