McAlister's Club Wrap and Bag of Chips
    Natalie R.

Food: 4/5 Great spot if you are looking for a fast-light sandwich option. We ordered the McAllister club wrap with a side of chips, the spicy southwest chicken sandwich with a side of potato salad, pickles, and teas to drink. The McAllister club wrap is straightforward but tasty. My boyfriend's go-to is the southwest chicken sandwich, and sometimes will order extra chicken. It's not overly spicy if that's a concern. I got an Arnord Palmer with unsweetened tea, and my boyfriend is a big fan of their sweet tea (he has high sweet tea standards). Because it's a chain, the food maintains a consistent quality standard. Service: 4/5 It's a bistro-style restaurant, so you order at the counter and get a number for food delivery. The staff are polite and helpful, but it's not like there is a lot of interaction. There are many tables, and I have never had to wait a long time in line to order. Food comes out very quickly. Atmosphere: 4/5 The space is clean and huge. The booths are comfortable. The room also has large windows for excellent natural lighting--standard appearance with McAllister chains. Hacks: 1. There is a drive-up window if you want a step up from fast food but something on the go. 2. Lemonade and tea are the same price, so spice it up with an Arnold Palmer.

Customer service was terrible today when I came in to place a carry out order. One lady was up front working on drive thru and answering a phone call and completely ignored me. I believe a manager walk right by the front and ignored me. Another lady from the back came up with ice then finally acknowledged my presence. She took my order but walked away without saying a word while my credit card process. I had to have another lady print my receipt. I've never had such bad service here. Restaurant was in between lunch and dinner so it looked tidy. Food was normal.

Sizeable sandwiches to fill your appetite. The staff was beyond helpful, they were nice and sought to make any easy experience even easier. This location was clean and the staff were quick to collect any used plates and utensils ensuring a clear table. The food came out hot and delicious and piled high like I expect it. We came at lunch time but this location was not super busy and they were prepared to handle a rush. Tips to make your visit a success: 1) Mix and match with a Choose Two. Can't decide what to get or too many options to pick just one then get two. I like the the ability to get both without having to waste food or miss out on an item. 2) Read the fine print. Premium items come with a surcharge. I was not expecting for such a large amount of premium items on the menu. It's almost unavoidable as are the expense they incur. Good food and good service keep me coming back to this location.

I don't know why there is so many sub par reviews here. The staff is SO friendly and my food was actually super delicious. I had a spicy southwest chicken sandwich and their chicken tortilla soup and both really hit the spot! The bread was warm, crispy and crusty and the chicken was seasoned well. It was just an all around yummy sandwich. The chicken tortilla soup was creamy and delicious. Also ordered a sweet tea which was fabulous to sip on Overall i really enjoyed my visit and found myself wondering why i don't visit more often!

After waiting what felt like three or four years for this place to be built excited to finally try it out and have lunch at McAllister's. Always remember them for the huge big potato and overall serving size but I figure time and economy have driven them to instead give humongous beverages and shrink portions. As silly as it sounds could not find a garbage can anywhere in the place to throw away some trash we needed to. Food and service was good but lost a star for what felt like small portions and even the sides of shrinking to crucible cup.

I was excited when McAlisters came to the West Side. I've enjoyed every McAlisters I've ever visited- except this one! I ordered a 2-fer a cup of soup (French onion) and a half sandwich (chicken salad) with a side of tomato cucumber salad. I sent the tepid soup back to be reheated. The microwaved croutons did nothing for the soup . There was such a small amount of chicken salad that it was hidden under the tomato slice. (See photo). I also had an iced tea and my bill was $14. I always expect high quality and a good quantity of food from McAlisters. And I get it at other locations- just not the one on Harrison Ave. This isn't a one time issue. I stopped coming to this store- I visit the one on Montgomery instead. Such a shame!

Placed an order through Uber Eats...came when expected. Bread and cookies were stale - tried to cut the softer parts but ended up not being salvageable. They didn't add any of the chips or kids drinks ordered. Looked like they threw things in there in a hurry.

Drinks and cookies may be added to pick up orders. Drive-up window is for pickup orders only.

Really good food & friendly service - always crowded around dinner time. I've only been the once but I'll return to try it again.

Had a chef salad with grilled chicken. Counted 3 small strips of chicken and 1/2 slice of bacon. Not worth the $9+ dollars! Disappointing!

The store was running late on the bread bake (which meant ours was as fresh as I could be). I spent a good 10-15 minutes in my Yankees cap (like the color not the team) studying the cuts of meat while a guy in a Redsox hat waited on the adjacent stool for his Boston Beef '3 way'. The wait staff were making some valid points about chatGPT while shredding the turkey, but I kept my mouth shut and my nose clean. Our Square and New Deal sandwiches were impeccable (albeit objectively speaking, my New Deal was better). I'm looking for the right mix of textures, meat, no skimping on Kewpie and a bread I can take a good bite out of - and it was an all around excellent sandwich on those counts. In waiting - I refreshed knowledge of hog body parts, and no Yanks/Sox fights broke out. It's a pleasant interlude to your mid-day, don't expect express service, but the end result will be to your taste

I would not recommend the Reuben (cut wasn't thick enough), which my friends got, but I would recommend the new deal. Staff is very kind, but service could've been faster - it did take a while for the hot sandwiches to come out. Great vibes overall.
