Sometimes we forget about the Tap House. Today we decided to join my step son to watch a game. Needless to say I was hangry before we arrived with snow and Christmas shopping..if you know you know how that is.. Mike at the bar was great he really was helpful with the menu. The number of beers on draft is 20 or more.. Today I got the burger with tots. The burger was cooked perfectly to my requested medium cook. With a side of Chili it has good flavor the texture for me was just not right. The side kick got a chicken wrap and fries. Great place to watch a game and grab a bite to eat. Cheers enjoy a visit.

I'd been to this place one other time with my lady just for drinks, pinball, and a few games of pool but not to eat. They do have some cool pinball tables by the way. Still, I wanted to get the full experience before reviewing, so I talked my co-workers into going for Cincinnati Wing Week when different restaurants have chicken wing specials going on. They agreed to so since they like wings too. We went on a Thursday for lunch. It wasn't too busy and we were sat right away. Their bar area is pretty big and they have an impressive tap selection as well as wine and a full bar. They have lots of inside seating and outside too. There's also a stage for live music. Did I mention the pinball tables? You have to get a play card to get play them though because the machines do not accept cash or coin. There's also a pool table closer to the bar area. Their menu is nice and features lots of classic pub grub options. But we were all about the wings. Theirs came with different sauce options like classic Buffalo, sweet Thai chili, BBQ, garlic parmesan, and dry rub. I ordered 6 dry rub wings and a wedge salad. My boss did the same but asked for a couple sides of sauce which were the garlic parmesan and hot Buffalo. My other co-worker got 6 sweet Thai chili wings and an order of raptor fries (loaded fries). The salads came out first and were pretty good size for the price. They definitely didn't skimp on the blue cheese which I always enjoy. Everything else came our after we were done with the salads. My dry rub wings were good but they were a bit on the sugary sweet side which I was not expecting. When I think dry rub wings, I think smoky dry rub, not sweet. My co-workers fries were definitely loaded and I did manage to steal a few. Too bad I couldn't get a pint of brew since we had to go back to work. Overall, I think this spot is pretty good, and I could potentially see going again, and not just for drinks and pinball, but that's a bonus for sure. The service is great, the place is cool, and overall the food is good (though I'd describe the dry rub wings a little more on the menu for others like me).

Fun lunch at Anderson Tap House. Relaxing atmosphere with pool and pinball. The menu is great and food delicious. Service was super. This is a keeper if you are on the East side of Cincinnati.

We were seated for several minutes before I had to ask the girl that seated us if we were going to be waited on. She apologized and I guess the manager waited on us and gave us a few excuses as to why no one had attended to us yet. Order wasn't correct and had three different people occasionally stop by. For a Tap house beer selection is rather limited. Finally saw a waitress when it was time to pay. They didn't know whose table it was. Or the cost of the meal. Organization is not this place's strong suit. I don't recommend this place.

Located in the old bar Louie sits the Anderson tap house. We just noticed it the other day so we stopped in and met some friends for lunch. Not busy at all around lunch time on Sunday it offers a great bar with many tvs as well as a game area for the kids. Service was friendly. Food was very good for bar food especially the burger which had a generous topping of goetta which we loved. We can definitely see ourselves coming back to watch a game or have a cold beverage and some appetizers or dinner before a movie. I look forward to trying more of what they have to offer.

    Cheese fries. Soooo good.

A chill place, with lots of draft beer, decent enough apps, good playlist of music, and an above average happy hour.

We stopped by after a visit to the Newtown Candy shop. We took some lobster roll kits and clam chowder home. They pride themselves on fresh seafood regularly flown in from around the world. Their pricing is double Jungle Jims and triple kroger. Can't say good or bad until we try the fresh fish. For example they have many types of Salmon from around the globe. $49.99 for Sea Bass is pricey for me. I think Halibut was $39.99 a pound and the salmon was $20-$30 a pound. They also make their own sides. The clam chowder had too many potatoes. On Friday and Saturday nights they cook a few meals out back in a small tent/room. Main items are Lobster Rolls and Fish n chips.

Unfortunately, this visit was very different. The food was still very good--our fajitas were flavorful and enjoyable--but the service really took away from the experience. While we did eventually get what we asked for, it took quite a while for simple things like extra tortillas, and overall the service felt slow and inattentive. The atmosphere also felt a bit tense, which made it hard to relax and enjoy the meal. What stood out the most was the lack of basic interaction. My husband made a point to say "thank you, sir" when our food was brought out and even said "have a nice day" as we were leaving, but there was no response either time. At the end of the meal, what appeared to be a manager dropped the check on our table without saying a word and walked away, which felt abrupt and unwelcoming. It was disappointing, especially given how much we enjoyed our previous visit, but based on this experience we don't plan to return.

SO so good…read more We started with the lavender lemonade mocktail -- which I absolutely added tequila to -- and it was smooth, refreshing, and dangerously delicious. 10/10 would order again exactly the same way. For appetizers, we got the whipped feta. Delicious, creamy, and perfect for sharing -- but fair warning: avoid the peppers if you're not into a little kick. They sneak up on you! My friend and I split the house salad and WOW. A complete showstopper. So fresh, the vinaigrette was bright and delightful, and those fresh bacon bits? Chef's kiss. It's rare that a house salad stands out like that, but this one absolutely did. Now let's talk about the prime rib. I typically do not like steak or prime rib... but our waitress recommended it as the best thing on the menu, and honestly the Yelp photos had already convinced me. When I tell you it was BOMB -- I mean it. So tender. So flavorful. Perfectly cooked. Paired with broccolini and mashed potatoes, it was a whole experience. To end the night, we shared the apple tart with cinnamon ice cream -- warm, sweet, comforting, and the perfect finish to an already amazing meal. Overall, this was a fantastic dining experience from start to finish. Great service, incredible food, and such a vibe. I cannot wait to come back.

I got the lavender lemonade mocktail which was delicious and refreshing without being too floral or soapy. For dinner I got the braised short rib which was so tender you could cut it with a fork. The bone marrow demi glaze I could have a bowl of that stuff is phenomenal. The broccolini was roasted perfectly but I felt the potatoes could've used more seasoning. My mother got the lemon chicken pasta, which was good at the time, but when she got home it did not sit well with her. All in all, I would come back for the short rib, and I hope Alara finds a new location soon. The inside is nice and romantic seating, but it is cold ... like bring a jacket and it seems it doesn't matter the season it is colder inside because I saw a google review that also mentioned the temperature of the dining room.

The addition of Chef Padro has taken the food to an entirely new level. Every dish we've tried has been beautifully prepared, thoughtfully seasoned, and full of flavor without losing the comfort and warmth that made us love this restaurant in the first place. One thing I appreciate most is that Chef Padro truly cares about his guests. He welcomes honest feedback and is clearly passionate about continually improving the dining experience. That kind of dedication is becoming harder and harder to find, and it shows in every meal. A special shout-out also goes to Pam behind the bar. She is simply the best! She remembers her customers, makes everyone feel welcome, and crafts some of the best cocktails around. Between Pam's hospitality and Chef Padro's incredible food, every visit feels like a night out with friends. I know change isn't always easy, especially for longtime customers, but I would encourage everyone to come with an open mind and give the new menu a chance. The quality, creativity, and attention to detail are exceptional, and our experience has only gotten better with every visit. We're also excited to see the beautiful expansion of the outdoor dining area. It's obvious the owners are investing in making this restaurant an even better place to gather with family and friends. If you're looking for outstanding food, genuine hospitality, and a locally owned restaurant that is working hard to create something special, do yourself a favor and visit.
