I ordered the MVP Fried Chicken Sandwich with Parmesan Fries. The Chili Con Queso was ok. Not great but not bad. The chips were fresh. My son liked his 'nuggets' well enough. My sandwich wasn't very good. Thin meat, most all breading. An artificial taste. The Parmesan Fries were just awful. My son kept asking if it was ok and if I needed to order something else. The server even asked a couple of times if the food was ok - when she noticed that I wasn't eating and then didn't want a box to take home an almost full plate of food. This has been our goto for March Madness with a group of friends the last several years. This may have been our last. I'll start by saying the food was good. What you should expect. Fried pickles were soggy mess and they should just not do pickles. Tbh. The service left ALOT to be desired. I don't get it. It's March Madness season. They would not assign us a server until we were cashed out. I finally went up and asked after we waited 45 min. Our server rudely said "this isn't easy to tally checks" you'll need to wait. This has been our go to March Madness location. Service was spot on great servers with large parties. Grilled tenders and onion rings excellent. The pickle appetizer has the potential yet they were under cooked and were soggy. They ran out of Coors light draft beer and do not carry in bottles. How? Why? But carry on I moved to another beer. This place has the worst customer service I've ever had. I have experienced better customer service at a McDonald's in the middle of nowhere. Last night we decided we would give this place one more shot because we've been so disappointed in the past. We walked in, the restaurant was half empty, the outdoor patio was half empty, and we asked for a table on the patio. The place looked like a typical bar/restaurant ala Buffalo Wild Wings. The waitress was excellent and everything looked clean. We split a queso and nacho chips appetizer. This was as good of a take on queso as you'll ever find that's not at a Mexican restaurant. I got the Extra Hot Buffalo wings with bleu cheese. The wings are bigger than BWW but smaller than say a Hooter's wing which means it's a pretty decent size. They also were cooked perfectly which means they weren't dried ouch which sometimes happens elsewhere particularly BWW. The sauce was quite tasty and had a nice kick which it should for one named extra hot. They gave me a few onion rings with the platter which were tasty but needed a dipping sauce. The bleu cheese waa nice and chunky but ask for extra because they don't give you much. My wife also thoroughly enjoyed her burger which is saying something because she takes her burgers seriously. The boneless wings were heavily breaded. The traditional wings were as expected. My wife got a gyro and chili. The gyro had fake soylike meat. The chilli wasnt good either. Pickle chips were good. My spouse wanted beer and wings and I dislike BW3's so I OK'ed going to Wings and Rings since I've never been and he said the takeout he's gotten from work is pretty good. Yuck yuck and no. I read another Yelper's comment on the sticky menus so I feel justified mentioning as well that the menus were disgusting, extremely tacky and gross-feeling. I hand-sanitized after combing through the pages. The place was pretty dead especially for a Saturday evening and as someone who worked in the restaurant business throughout undergrad and grad school, it irks me when there's about 3-4 hosts/esses standing around idly when yes they could be wiping down grimy menus (it's real easy, I've done it a lot in my youth. Squirt-squirt with Windex and wipe down with a paper towel). We split the pickle chips and I liked that they were breaded (like Hooters') rather than battered. However, they were INSANELY salty and a small portion for $7.50. They're floured and fried VINEGARY CUCUMBER SLICES, people, not seafood or globbed in cheese and tons of pricey condiments. So taste, value, and quantity wise, this app was a major fail. For a place that specializes in chicken, it should be really good. I ordered the blacked chicken Caesar salad and it was underwhelming and feeble. Chopped up chicken without a trace of flavor or seasoning (look at the picture - where was the blackening seasoning?), spilled across brown romaine (twice I crunched into something dirty-tasting/sandy-textured, omg), with a halfhearted scattering of straight-out-the-box croutons. Lovely. The chicken was dry and bland, perhaps all of its intended salt seasoning went to the pickles in surplus? The fries didn't look even remotely interesting so I didn't bother to try one to judge. My husband loves wings and ordered a 10-piece garlic and left two untouched. The server was subpar. They forgot to bring Ranch for the wings (seriously?) and we had to repeatedly ask for an extra plate to put the bones on (did I mentioned this place wasn't busy but with servers standing around?). Our server did come to check back up on us and ask my husband (whose beer was half full) if he wanted another, but never once refilled my water (completely empty after those pickle chips). Major peeve, I hate that. Food is ridiculously priced for what you get, our bill was almost $40. After this, I would go to BW3's any day over Wings and Rings as an option. Although it's been a while since I've been to the major national wing chain the last time I was there the wings had very little sauce and were significantly drier than they are at Wings and Rings. I started with an Old Rasputin. Nice flavorful dark beer. Onto the chili. Loads of ground beef and nice and thick with a nice chili flavor (could use a bit more heat, but that's a matter of taste). Then 5 boneless wings grilled with hot sweet thai chili sauce. Plenty of sauce for dipping fries or rings left in the bowl. Fries were good. My wife had the Harvest salad and enjoyed it.
