i wanted this to be better than it was. My husband, daughter and I stopped by after the movies last Sunday. There was as light line that moved quickly and a good size menu. I chose a sandwich no bread and although I did get no bread I also got no'dressing' that should of come on the sandwich, which made it dry. For the price I will not be a return customer. read more

What is going on with this place?! EVERYTIME we go something goes wrong. We love McAlister's and I have never had a bad experience at any other location but this one. They never have more then one register open, I'm LUCKY if I get my salad dressing and today the Potato Soup (which is normally the best) was completely watered down and had no cheese or chives. OH and the bread bowl was stale. What is up guys? You are consistently letting us down :(. I'm not normally a complainer. I like to build up companies but this location has been so consistently disappointing that I've actually complained to corporate three times. First, allow me to start out by saying that I have eaten at a few McAlister's Deli's in the past. One in Tyler, Tx, one in Houston, and then this one in Cypress. In the past, most of my meals at this establishment have been good. Not spectacular, but enough to satisfy you to maybe return. Secondly, I will not return. Ever. Based on my last few visits, and my most recent phone conversation with the general manager. This guy came from the loony bin. Says he "called me on my complaint" which I know for a fact he did not. I complained on this restaurant two weeks ago right after Father's day since I had taken my family to eat there for lunch on that Saturday of that weekend. Never did I ever receive one phone call from him till today when I wrote another complaint this morning and tried to talk to him about my last few conversations. But when you outright lie to me saying that you did something, when in fact you did not, I will call you out on it. Anyway, long story short...they have managed to jack up my order each time in the last two times I have been here. My mother in law never receives her monies worth on her meal. Barely filling up her croissant with hardly any chicken salad? Really McAlister's? And what really took the cake was running into my 9 week old in her car seat on one of your booster seats. Yes, your busser walked right by our table not once to check up on us, but a few times so you would think he would have seen her and at least said "excuse me". We would have gladly tried to move her out of the way but no. Did he apologize? No! The general manager needs to look at these reviews to see that I am not the only one with a one star as well and get a clue that his restaurant is in trouble with how customers are being dealt. read more

As a follow up, was contacted by the store manager and he apologized and offered so send a card for a comp meal. Gave him my mailing address but he never followed up and actually sent the card. Why did he even bother to respond if he wasn't going to follow through on his offer? Was going to give them another chance, but definitely will never go back now. Wife ordered the Club sandwich and asked them to cut the Honey Mustard and Mayo, and asked for Yellow Mustard on the side. When they brought the sandwich they didn't include the mustard. When asked the server grabbed a bottle of yellow mustard by the napkins but it was empty. Said he would be right back, after several minutes when he didn't come back, my wife went to the counter and was told they didn't have any regular mustard. Even the fast food burger joints have mustard packets so it was really unbelievable they didn't have any regular mustard on hand. No apology was offered or anything, wife ended up eating the sandwich dry and didn't enjoy it at all. I did a review on their website and explained what happened, this was three days ago and they have not bothered to respond. If they don't care enough about their customers to get back with us, we will never go there again. There are too many other similar Deli's in the area that have a similar menu and they all have excellent customer service. This McAlister's is never busy, so they should try to keep the customers they have and not alienate them. read more

This was my first visit to a McAlister's deli. The food was excellent, I had the McAlister club. The service was outstanding. The staffed can continuously checked up on us for refills or anything else needed. I will definitely be visiting again. read more

I like McAllister's for several reasons. Good choices, good food, free wifi, nice people. However, every time I come during the work week at lunch time service is slow and they seem under staffed. If you are in a hurry or in a short lunch beak this is not the place to go. read more

I've never had a bad meal here. The food is great and always tastes freshly prepared. My favorite sandwich is the roast beef with horseradish sauce with their AMAZING Mac and cheese and iced tea. My daughter loves the kids pita pizza. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful! The food is delicious and nutritious , would definitely recommend!!! read more

Where are your employees?!?!? 1 o'clock on a Saturday and we waited 15 minutes to order with only 1 person ahead of us in line. Went to sit down , literally every 4 top table was dirty. I have been there several times since discovering it and the service and food are always excellent. Love the sweet tea and the 2 for combos are a great deal! My wife my daughter and I can eat here for what you would pay at whataburger and have a meal that is healthier and sticks to your ribs. read more

This was my first time at a McAlister's Deli and I had such a great experience here. The food was delicious and the manager went out of his way to make sure we had a good dining experience. This location used to be amazing but now is borderline terrible. There's definitely been a change in management. The last 2 times that we've been here, they are always out of various items. No milk/chocolate milk for the kids meals. What 18 month old needs to drink tea? Out of Pastrami for the New Yorker. The counter worker even told me "be glad you weren't here yesterday because we were out of even more stuff". Ordered a Muffuletta instead and it was swimming in oil. So much so that the bottom bread was soaked through and soggy. Gave it 2 stars just because everything else tasted pretty good. But I'm done with this place. read more

Wife & I stopped at 5:30 PM on Sat., 11/16/13, needing a quick bite to sustain us for the two hour drive home. AFTER we placed our order & paid, the young staffer told us they were "running a little behind - maybe 15 minutes or so". Would have wasted at least another 15 minutes getting our money back and going somewhere else... so sat down. Food arrived at 6:30! Never an offer (to anyone; the place was full of people with no food yet) of a beverage or even an update on orders. No towels or soap (!) in the men's room (had plenty of time to check that out). Two stars is really a little high for that experience. read more
