Lame French Dip

Should have gone to Newk's. I love McAlister's in other locations but this one is not up to standards. No ice in the ice dispenser, employee irritated to have to fill it. French Dip sandwich was burnt. Tea was good but no Splenda available. So they have a lot to work on.

Kids mac & cheese. Organic Horizon milk offered here!

McAllister's on County Line and Emerson is a newer location but is already always busy! Stopped in for lunch during the week and by 1210 there was already a line forming. The restaurant is overall clean and updated. The restroom could have used some tidying up (TP on the floor, no paper towel) but may have happened due to the lunch crowd. They do offer a baby changing station. I decided to go with the ol' faithful "pick two" lunch option. Pick two is a sure way of winning since there are so many combinations to make. First pick was ultimate nachos with veggie chili topped off with my second choice of a half jalapeno crunch turkey sandwich. I also got my kiddo a kids mac n' cheese that came with apple sauce. Food was hand delivered with a smile to our table. Everything warm and freshly made. Nachos-let's just say I love that McAllisters offers veggie chili!! It's so good. Things could have been more evenly distributed over the nachos and maybe a tad more chili as the other chips were all dry. Jalapeno crunch turkey sandwich-I missed the "crunch" part somewhere. Someone heavy handed the mayo during the making of this sandwich. It was very overpowering. I imagine something spicy when jalapeno is mentioned, this wasn't hot by any means. Kid devoured the mac n' cheese!! No easy mac here! They also offer horizon milk which is a nice option for those that prefer an organic milk. I would return to this McAllister's with no problems. Easy parking in their private lot. They also offer a nice large patio seating area. All seating is first come first serve at pretty much all McAllister's locations. Gluten Free bread is available at a small upcharge for those in need.

All tables dirty

This isn't the location I normally go to but I decided to give it a try. Upon walking in it took almost 5 minutes for someone to take our order. I know this is almost expected, but they were extremely understaffed. While getting my drink I kindly asked one of the employees if she could wipe off a table for me since not one single table in the restaurant was clean. She assured me she would be right there but never came. Once our food arrived we asked the man who brought our food to wipe off our table which seemed to annoy him. From what I could see it looks like a management problem. Food was okay but I will not be returning to this location

Email from corporate claiming that they would pull cameras but obviously didn't.

PLEASE PLEASE read before eating here!!!! Eat at your own risk.... YALLLL.....I tried to call to put in an order but the girl at the to go register kept hanging up on me so I just went to the store and ordered my food instead. THEN I SAW ONE OF THE SERVERS DIGGING IN HER PANTS WHILE CLEANING TABLES AND SMELLING HER FINGERS!!! Yall!!! I cannot make this up lol. Theeeennnnn one of the workers gave my food to the wrong Brittney and when the girl came back to return my food they then handed it directly to me. Lol I definitely don't want it now! This place is wild. Definitely the worst Mcalisters I've ever been to. Update w/ photo: Reported worker to manager. Corporate emailed me. After giving them the exact time that it occurred, they said they would pull the store video. They then sent me 2 complimentary meals. So I went to give the store another try since it's literally 2-3 minutes from my home and in hopes that the girl, WHO WAS DIGGING IN HER COOCHI AND SMELLING HER FINGERS, had been let go. But y'all, guess who I saw??! Lo and behold the same girl was picking up plates with that same hand and serving the food. Y'all!!! I just can't. I walked my happy self right back out to my car. Does anybody want 2 complimentary meals?? Y'all better not say yes lol!

Pick Two - Half Italian Salad, Half Club

I LOVE McAlister's and I am SO glad that there's one open close to where I live now. Everything about my first visit to this location was amazing. The strawberry lemonade from the tea bar was tangy and flavorful. I got a Choose 2 half Italian salad with balsamic vinaigrette and a half club sandwich. The salad had a variety of toppings, including deli meat and black olives - yum! The honey mustard on the club sandwich was amazing and the sandwich as a whole tasted very fresh. The staff was very attentive and friendly and was happy to help with plates and refills. They did a great job! The location is very clean and nice looking, with a nice outdoor patio to eat on. Overall, a perfect experience with everything I wanted. Awesome job McAlister's, I can't wait to come back!

Rueben and potato salad with a heavy mayo flavor. Too much mayo to handle.

Stopped by here on my way back to Nashville from Michigan. Got the Ruben, it was okay. Not bad. The potato salad was the side we chose and it tasted more like mayo than potatoes which was really overwhelming. I couldn't finish that. Also we were the only ones inside and it took almost 20 min to get our food for some reason. Just sat there on the counter when they're suppose to bring it to the table, which is why they give you a number to take to your table.

Tea Station

Nice location right off of the highway on county line. There is plenty of parking and seating inside. The floor was real sticky and we went at 11 after they opened so maybe they just mopped. The staff all greeted us and the cashier who helped us was a little loud and not friendly- she kind of rushed us through our order and there was no reason to since there was no one behind us. This location was a little different since the cashiers do not handle the drinks anymore and they have a station for it. The drink station also gives you pickles upon asking. There is a separate section for crackers, sauces, etc. Our food took awhile but it was delicious. They offer many types of generic food but I love the spuds. There usually is staff coming around for drink refills but I had to get up to get mine- after I did that- someone did come to the table and get my fellow lunch peers refills. At one point, we heard the cashier who served us yelling out and it was disruptive to our lunch. The manager did stop by our table and ask us how it was and she was friendly. If you are looking for a nice meal- I would get it to go!

It's very cool on the inside with vintage and Indiana-themed decor, tin ceilings, and, of course, a potbelly stove. The staff were friendly. But brother and I were very confused about the ordering process. There wasn't a lot of directional signage showing where to start and each step of the process. I watched a few other customers go through and they didn't seem like they had a problem so maybe it was just us. Next time I would probably just order online and pick it up so I could avoid the in-person ordering process altogether. I had the turkey sandwich and it was pretty good. I would say definitely a step up from your typical sub sandwich chain in terms of flavor and toppings options. I tried the chili mac as well. The chili is definitely à la Wendy's but I enjoyed it. The mac and cheese was good as well. I'd probably get either on its own but not together again. I also tried the Potbelly/Zapp's collab chips, the Hot Pepper flavor. They were good but are definitely not for everyone. When I visited, most of their fountain soda options were out of order so I settled on a no sugar added Pineapple Passionfruit juice/soda which was actually pretty good. We'll definitely be back - especially to try out their milkshakes!

They do make everything fresh to order so be ready to wait for about 10 minutes. It was worth the wait. My chicken Philly cheesesteak was excellent. The cheese on this made it next level. Food: We got a beef cheesesteak and an italian and definitely enjoyed the italian more. I think some of the problem is that they have relatively large rolls/bread which throws off the ratios and makes it feel skimpy. They either need to bake a 20% smaller roll or add 20% more protein to really make each bite satisfying. That said, the ingredients they use are actually good. I could actually taste the spiciness in the capicola and the salami had a nice rich flavor, they also topped the italian with a herby vinaigrette which was great. The fries are slightly more on the shoe string thinness which was fun but flavor was pretty standard. Overall this place isn't bad but it has some stiff competition, you get better price-performance from a cheaper chain and probably a better overall gourmet sub from Capriotti's which isn't that far although you'll probably pay 2x the price.

I had passed this location on the way and thought I'd check them out since I had never had it. I got the Italian sandwich, brownie, and a side of the pepper relish. Big mistake. This has got to be the most broke tasting sandwich I've maybe ever eaten. It's giving armor meat sandwich for Panera prices. The ham gave Bar S and the salami gave budding. Just gross. I couldn't stand more than three bites and that was because I was starving. I threw almost this whole sandwich away. The brownie was pretty good and kind of reminded me of Chick-fil-A. That pepper relish was really delicious and all of the veggies were super fresh, but limited. You can miss me with that meat though. The bread wasn't that great either. I don't understand why people would come here when Penn Station is right across the street. The customer service was fine and the inside of the restaurant was clean enough.
