Clean and cute interior with friendly greetings from staff. Prompt service and delivery of food. The sandwiches were decent, a little breast for my taste and not overly flavorful. I'd give it another try and see if something else on the menu suited my taste better.

I love a good sub so I'm an easy one to please. I ordered the Italian which was tasty- I did have to go ask for mayonnaise to put on which I neglected to ask for in the first place. The inside is nice and clean. The staff were helpful. It was very cold inside but it was also cold outside so maybe that is why? Overall it was a nice lunch

Seen this place was open and decided to stop in and give it a try. First off the guy at the counter was really nice and helpful with recommendations etc. You order at the counter or a little kiosk and they will either bring it to your table or call out your number. The menu is a bit deceiving as they have the steps for ordering and step 4 is making your sub a meal and there's no technical meal he said. You just order a side and drink all charged separately. They have subs to choose from and you can add or take toppings off there's 4-5 bread options as well or may do any sub as a bowl served as a salad. The restaurant is extremely clean even the bathrooms. If you're coming in to have lunch and need to do some work they do have plug ins at each booth table. I ordered the pepperoni melt on Garlic herb bread It comes with pepperoni, ham, cheese, onion, tomato, onion, oregano and mayo I opted to remove the onion There isn't much meat on the sandwich and I feel the bread to filling ratio is a bit off. However it was filling because of all the bread. The flavor was on point though. Wisconsin cheese curds were really good. Fried fresh and the chipotle ranch is flavorful. Hubby ordered the Wisconsin cheesesteak on Parmesan Asiago It comes with steak, liquid cheese, grilled onion and bacon and it had an amazing flavor and was filling however yet again there was a lot of extra bread. Cheese fries were basic and very little cheese on them wouldn't order again. They do have freestyle coke options and shakes After our meal we did order a pumpkin pie shake and all of their shakes start as vanilla soft serve and then they add sauce in to make other flavors. Overall it's a bit pricy for what you get and it took 20mins to get our food and there was no one there when we placed our order.

Friendly staff, warm subs, cheese curds, shakes. Great food, but a little pricey. Check for coupons or deals. They have a drive-thru and outdoor seating.

We are in Indiana for the first time for my son's baseball tournament and stopped by Cousins for a bite--so glad we did! I had the club sandwich and my son got the chicken Philly--both were absolutely delicious. Our server, I believe his name was Tommie, was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Great food, great service--Cousins knocked it out of the park!

I ended up getting several pastries and some bagels (as why would you not), as well as their broccoli salad, cheese sandwich and some cherry pie. Yum! She wanted to take a Rueben home to her husband but it was a flight away, so the staff let her buy all the fixings and then make it at home. Amazing! It traveled well that way and got to be enjoyed by others. Will always go back to this spot as it has a special place in my heart as my Dad loved it, and it is an I su classic!

I'm not a deli kind of guy…read more But, there's just something about Shapiro's that makes me smile. I'm a lifelong hoosier, and I've always had times when I simply needed to go to Shapiro's. I've shared, quite often, of my deep appreciation for the Shapiro's response when I had accessibility concerns about their Fashion Mall location. They did a remarkably beautiful job of responding well, adapting, and yet also honoring their own business needs. The end result became a more accessible layout that was still customer friendly for everyone. I will always appreciate that response and should their praises. But, there's something special about this location. It's the look. It's the feel. It's the vibe. It's just everything. A little bit of Shapiro's history - you can trace the Shapiro family back to 1795 Ukraine. Louis and Rebecca Shapiro landed stateside in 1905; within a couple years opening a small grocery/deli. In 1925, they leaned into their cultural and faith roots after the election of Ed Jackson as governor (Jackson was a well-known Klan member). They added the word "kosher" to their building and a Star of David. (As someone who's traveled over 7,000 miles by wheelchair, I love a good act of subtle rebellion). They more and more leaned into their cafe routes, and in 1984 added a second location on the northwestside. I probably frequented this location the most since I went to Pike High School. As we all know, that location eventually closed. Fashion Mall lasted about five years. There was a Carmel spot, too. But, for me, it always comes down to this location. It's warm. It's friendly. The food is a premium deli experience. I love the meatloaf (like seriously). They have breakfast, they have a ton of baked good options (cakes, cookies, others), soups, salads, hot deli, cold deli, sandwiches, entrees, and a whole lot more. I love the baked goods. I love the fried chicken. Is it a bit pricey? Yep. You also get enough for at least a couple meals (if you can truly hold out that long). Accessibility is solid here. I've already talked about their attention to that kind of detail. It's real AND it's sincere. Strangely enough, I've never had the Reuben here. It's one of their acclaimed sandwiches, but there's always something else I want more. While you can spend a fair amount here, you can also eat here pretty modestly. Shapiro's, at least for me, is one of those places that defines Indy. I'd likely weep if they ever left our city. Good food. Great family. Wonderful location. Fair pricing. Accessible. Quite honestly, it's just about everything I want a restaurant to be.

I went with a Malibu and ginger ale, and it was served in this cute glass, I loved it! We were all so hungry, so we started out with a large order of fries, and they are a standout. They disappeared fast, came served on paper, and were crispy, hot, and delicious. We ordered the 2 10-piece wings (the biggest order available), including one batch cooked extra crispy. The wings were good, and I especially enjoyed the Fat Dan's hot BBQ sauce over the regular BBQ. I really liked the extra crispy wings. My boys also wanted burgers. One ordered the Wake N Bake Burger and the other got the Fat Dan's Burger. Both looked tasty, and neither of them complained. The ambiance strikes a nice balance between sports bar and family friendly restaurant. There is seating both inside and outside, and when the weather is nice, they open the large doors to create an open-air feel. That's where we sat, and I enjoyed it. Service was quick and efficient, which was much appreciated since my family arrived hungry. This is a solid spot for burgers, wings, and fries.
