Food was yummy until I look down at my feet and see dead grasshoppers under the table. Totally lost my appetite.. when I told an employee she said "oh it's just a grasshopper, it happens when the doors open"... Food is good. Workers...they need training on customer service. 2 young people working and let me stand there 5 min without any acknowledgment. The young guy was 5 feet from me and ignored me the whole time. Almost making it a point to purposely not look at me. When the girl asked if I was picking up and said my name, the guy knew it was mine. These kids need to be trained how to talk to customers and IF they were trained, be told not to talk about the customers in front of them. I chalk this one up to bad management. read more

This is worst McAllister's location I have ever visited. Completely unorganized and forgetful. We got there about 7:50 and placed our order based on a recommendation from the cashier. We grabbed a seat and were brought our food. I noticed that all of the toppings on my sandwich were missing. My friend also was missing all the toppings she ordered on her potato. I notified the food runner who brought my sandwich back to be remade and brought my friend her toppings. Upon bringing out my new sandwich I still noticed toppings missing. I didn't make any substitutions or changes to a sandwich they have advertised on the menu. When I went back up to just get the toppings on a plate to assemble myself another couple shouted to the food runner to check on their food as they had been waiting for over 20 mins and had not been given their food. Another gentleman on the other side of the restaurant with a pick up order was also completely forgotten about and left waiting over 30mins. The place was not busy at all and the manager seemed to not be concerned with the lack of service but more concerned with a small sign near the beverage station and avoiding eye contact. LUCKILY the food was decent and it was free tea day. Do not come for a quick bite, you'll need to wait a few times before they get your order right. Nothing quick about this place. Food runner was the only pleasant part of this visit. Probably won't be back. read more

We've gone to this Deli quite a few times and was satisfied at first but then service sort of took a dive. I'm a particular person when it comes to what I eat and I order things pretty specific, so I can understand getting orders mixed up, but when it's every time I go in - c'mon man. I usually order salads with stuff on the side or things omitted or subbed and the last time it was a huge screw up. I ordered a taco salad and I got... Well, I don't know what that was. I like their taco salad without the chili subbed for grilled chicken with no onions. I also ordered chipotle ranch and got regular ranch. It makes a big dif, people. The portions are huge, it's somewhat affordable, and the staff is very friendly. If you're a specific snob like this one here, you might be disappointed. read more

I went there today and forgot my car keys on the counter when paying for my food. After getting my order I attempted to leave not realizing what I had done with my keys. I looked all over in my purse then looked in the window of my car but didn't see any signs of my keys. The keys weren't in the ignition and I couldn't see if I had sat them on the passenger seat because I had a lot of stuff on it. I then went back in McAlister's and asked the cashiers did I leave my keys in there. The young ladies kind of looked around and then one went to back where the food is done and came back out and said "no". I called "Pop a Lock" and I sat at their outside eating area to ensure that no one would attempt to get in my car (just by chance somebody had my keys). It took about 30 minutes for pop a lock to get there. My car was opened and myself and the guy from pop a lock searched all over the inside of my car (as the alarm was blaring). After I had moved the belongings off the passenger seat and saw my keys weren't there I told the pop a lock guy that somebody in McAlister's had my keys. He was like maybe you dropped them and it's under your seat so we look a little more. Finally one of the workers came out and gave me keys. I asked her "so who had my keys?" She said something along the lines of "I told them your keys was by the tumblers" (whatever the hell that means). But in the whole 30 minutes I sat outside waiting NO ONE had the decency to bring me my keys where I could've avoided calling pop a lock. Needless to say I'm never eating there again; something about this situation seemed shady and dishonest. read more

My daughter absolutely loves McAlister's! We miss the old drink kiosk with the multitude of drink options though.

The soups... I mean those soups... Gerber baby food has more consistency than that...! The sandwiches were not bad, but nothing to brag about either. For those prices there are plenty of places in town that are far better. Sorry, but I'm not going back there, or sending anyone that way anytime soon. read more

As for chain deli quality this place is a little above average. Jason's deli is still above McAlisters because of the salad bar and free ice cream. I had the french dip and a side salad. I would go back a solid 3 stars. Staff was friendly, restaurant was clean and inviting. read more

I ordered a baked potato and it was half burned. I was with a friend and didn't want to make a big deal of it. But because it was half burned I had half a meal. It was simply cooked too long. I'll go back again though because their prices are right and it's fast and convenient though. My visit was in November. read more

As someone who used to work here years ago, I am disgusted with this place. The floors were so sticky it reminded me of a movie theater. The drink machine smelled like mold and there was trash everywhere. It took 20 minutes for my to go order to be ready, and even then it was still wrong. Will not be returning here again. Always a go to restaurant. Love getting the soup and sandwich combo. Love getting free cookies from doing the surveys. One word. Awful. I'll start from walking in. I was not greeted. The employees were just chatting away acting like I was not even in the building. I go up to the register to order my food and they just kept on chatting. I had to ask them if I could please order. I ordered the southwest turkey melt. The sandwich is under "hot sandwhiches" but that was not the case. Everything on it was cold and my sandwhich did not come with Bacon as advertised. As I was looking at the sandwhich is find multiple eyelashes in the sandwhich and in my macaroni side dish. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I will not be returning. read more

I only ever come here when I have no other choice...food is always subpar. I can't wait for panera bread to open up in this area and I will never be forced to come back to this place again. Salads....I love salad but they are absolutely awful here. The lettuce has some kind of weird taste to it that dressing can't cover up. The soups always taste watered down. Sandwiches, I haven't found any I really like. Positive is the menu is fairly big for a deli and I rarely come here so I usually forget I hated a previous sandwich and have plenty of choices to choose from. Tonight the kids nachos were dreadful...I have seen better nachos at baseball parks. There was a film over the top and it looked like it was sitting there for hours and reheated. I wasn't brave enough to taste it but my husband did and he said it was awful. We sent it back, I didn't want to take the chance of making my child sick. Unacceptable! Baked potato was burned (how do you do that?). Coleslaw was awful and really didn't resemble actual coleslaw. Disappointed as usual....but we were stuck in 5 o'clock traffic and there was an accident that basically made us hostages in that shopping center. There were only a few other people there for dinner so I am guessing the public knows how crappy this place is. If the food weren't so processed here I am sure they would make people sick. Oh, and the bathrooms are ALWAYS disgusting! Always! I would hate to see what the kitchen area looks like....I'm sure just as disgusting as the front of the deli. read more
