This McAlister's is a regular on my list so I am sorry I had not left a review. The staff is so attentive and did several things to go the extra mile. I asked for a particular combo and the server recommended I order it differently because it would save a dollar. I have seen this particular manager (or crew shift lead?) there often. She just works smart. It's impressive. And it is clearly rubbing off on all the staff. I love McAlisters. It's always good quality and I appreciate the extra attention from the staff. read more

Every time my family eats here they make us feel so welcomed and go above and beyond especially with kids that are picky eaters . Unfortunately I had to rate this store 3 star. While at the restaurant we noticed the tables were being cleared by staff but the staff were not wiping down the tables. Not to wise given covid is still an issue. I would hope the business owner will advise the staff of proper cleaning is necessary. I don't know them know what this is but it's supposed to be tomato and cucumbers and it looks like a piece of a tomato and a half of a slice of cucumber. Come on we can do better than this. Ordered McAlisters for the first time, to be delivered from Door Dash. That may of been my mistake trusting Door Dash. They picked my order up eight minutes up after it was ready. It took Ethan, the Driver, over 15 minutes to drive less than two miles to deliver my food. The map showed the Driver sitting across the from my complex over five minutes. On to the food, I ordered the French Dip, which was good, but I'm guessing would if been really great if they'd included the AuJus Sauce. What a pleasant surprise to stumble onto a McAllisters while out today! The last one I went to was in Illinois over a decade ago, and lunch here made me wonder why I hadnt looked them up earlier. Stopped here while out with my sister and niece and wanted to grab a quick bite for lunch. I ordered a kid's meal along with my niece because I wasnt particularly hungry and I was pleasantly surprised at the portions. We ordered grilled cheese sandwiches, with a side of mac and cheese and each order came with a soft baked chocolate chip cookie and chips. I was both annoyed and disappointed in both food & service. Since I don't frequent Mc Alister's on any regular basis and I'm trying out a new diet, I needed to study the menu a bit. So I stood off to the side, even though there were no others waiting. In the 60 SECONDS that I was standing there at least 4 different cashiers looked directly at me and said, " I can take the next person in line"... Yeah, that's me, I'm the ONLY one in line, I'm trying to read the damn menu and keep getting pushed. I finally responded that "I need a min please". One of the kids at the register looked at me like, How dare I take my time, aren't you ready yet. Ok, so I order half chicken salad sandwich and tomato bisque. $10 for this junk. The bread was stale and they plopped one little dollup of chicken salad, topped it with a token tomato slice & a strip of lettus. They didn't even bother to spread it out on the cressant. The bisque, while tasting ok (not great) had un-blended chunks of tomato. Short story ... can't find any reason to return anytime in the near future. read more

My wife and I came by last night. This is one of the newer locations in the area. They're located where Jason's Deli used to be, by Vista Ridge Mall. The dining room is nicely decorated and very roomy. Everything from the dining room through to the bathrooms were sparkly clean. The staff was very friendly. They had multiple types of tea. Both sweet and unsweetened versions of regular tea or green tea. I tried the sweet green tea. Awesome! My wife got the soup and salad. It looked delicious. I ordered the Big Nasty with a potato salad as my side. I think they could possibly have the best potato salad in town. The Big Nasty is their version of an open face roast beef sandwich. It's always good. It's very filling so you better be hungry if you order it. read more

Messing up pick up orders, forgetting to put in things we paid for. Most recently we ordered 2 fruit cups as our sides, which cost extra. When we get them, the strawberries and blueberries have literal mold on them. I called and spoke to the manager, who said they would refund me two meals of my four meals, but after waiting for it to clear my credit card, I ended up getting charged the full amount anyway. This was our first time trying this place! At first sight the food looked delicious but it was hardly that. My husband and I both had the Big Nasty Sandwich only difference is I made mines into a wheat wrap instead of bread. The looked great back lacked the extra ingredients that we asked for like ranch dressing, honey mustard, cheese etc. So they were very dry. Now that gave us gravy that goes with the sandwich but it was thick and cold so it really didn't mesh with the sandwich well. They also forgot to put my husband bag of Chips with our order as well and my Mac and cheese tasted good but the only gave my two spoon fulls so it wasn't much to enjoy. This is my favorite Mcalister's out of all them in my area. I especially like the cashier girl Lacey who is always friendly and caring to our hungry needs. She also tries her best to give recommendations that suit our taste buds! I enjoy the food, such as the orange cranberry club, french dip sandwich (with horseradish), and the pecan berry salad. The teas are always freshly brewed, with just the right amount of sugar to satisfy my sweet tooth. I always see employees staying on top of those who need refills, and their table cleared. I highly recommended this deli to anyone who is down for the grub, and the fast service! read more

My fiancé and I both love Mcalister but this last experience has really put a sour taste in our mouth. I understand everyone makes mistakes but we ordered food, our food was missing items, wrongly prepared and done. When we called to fix this, both times a girl answered and laughed and sat the phone down. We could both hear them taking and laughing. We called multiple times after but they didn't answer after that. It's so disappointing, I have worked in the hospitality industry forever but this is crazy. I love this deli. Wide selection of items, courteous staff, and the best iced tea make this my go-to lunch spot. I typically get take out though during lunch because of the crowds, but I do hang around if it's a weekend and the lunch rush isn't as pronounced. Sometimes they eat like pigs and other times they barely eat a thing, so it is so nice to not feel like I'm breaking the bank on days they are more picky. This review was going to be rated at 1 star if it wasn't for the incredible attention from The manager on shift. My fiancée and I walked in at 8:45pm and being regular customers we approached the counter ready to order. The manager mentioned was caught up taking an order so he asked a female employee to take our order. From the moment she neared she was already in a bad attitude. I ignored the fact she didn't even ask "what Can I get you" and began my order. Not once did she say a word back to me or my fiancée. I asked for a fountain drink and she rudely pointed her finger to the selections before I could even utter the words out. Once I saw this I said, it's fine I'll just have water. We were handed our drinks and order number and she walked off. When requested payment method she didnt give a total for the order, she just extended her hand out to us, palm open. We stood at the register to wait for her to come back because she didn't hand us a receipt. Once the manager noticed he asked if we had been helped and we just replied we don't know if the order was placed as she didn't even say "it'll be right out" or "here's your receipt". He addressed it and apologized. Afterwards he brought us out the food himself and apologized again. The employee continued to slam things behind the counter. I hope she has a better evening. 4 stars for a wonderful manager handling a situation that could have led to us walking out on one of our favorite Delis! read more

I went to the location in Lewisville Tx, First when I was " greeted" I was addressed by the worker by "hold on let me text my dad first then I'll take your order" then after order I get my order and I get this type of great quality on the food then when I called the manger to tell "Rusty" the great service I received he asked me to describe the employee texting by asking me was it my white employee or the Black one I then corrected Rusty and told him that is very racist of home to even mention that to me rather he should just ask me to describe the employee at best his response was " well you won't know their names anyways " so no wonder why my food was so bad if the manager doesn't even care! On today 12/28/21 my order was ready for pickup at 1:06pm. Upon bringing my food home me and my boyfriend discovered hair in the sandwiches, not one strand of hair but multiple strands of hair in between the sandwiches. When I called the restaurant to inform them of this they seemed very unbothered. I was offered a refund, but the whole point of reaching out to them was to make them aware and speak to whoever was currently on shift. We are going through a pandemic, you would think cleanliness and health would be a priority. I have ordered many times from this location but today was such a disappointment. read more
