How have I missed knowing about this sandwich master gem?? Great options, well priced works of sandwich artistry! Exceptional taste! Really good service! It is the little things that mean they care, such as a tootsie roll, well folded napkins, and flatware to eat the sides. The restaurant is neat, tidy and clean!

This place is definitely a hidden gem in the middle of Addison. This is a great stop for a quick lunch. The staff is always friendly and sometimes you can even see Joe himself! Fresh, authentic deli style sandwiches, salads and more.

Potato salad, barely fills half the cup.

Service: 10/10 Hoagie (y'all say sub): 7/10, bread was a bit tough but the meat quality was good, which is always a concern for me Con: I added a cup of potato salad to the order --to charge over $2 in this economy & not fill the cup up is INSANE. Even the bottom of the cup wasn't covered. Really pissed me off, especially since I was sharing the meal. Potato salad was a 5/10, it was just ok. I wasn't really the target audience for it. Trying to stay away from the chain sandwich shops so glad I was able to support this place.

Jersey Joe's tops ALL sandwiches! If ya don't go, you're missing out! Best subs ever, oh and try the turkey pastrami, pickled tomatoes, with a Dr. Brown. Oh and say hi to Joe. Nicest guy ever!!!

Jersey Joe's is across the street from my office and just was in the mood for a sub. Ole Joe's was the remedy to my hankering. Service was awesome, super nice folks who seem to love making people happy poppin' jokes and having a good time. The 11. Big Joe was awesome, all the meats had me sweating, but that didn't stop me from deleting this sandwich in 30 seconds. Highly recommend if you're in Addison!

This is how much the employee who gave me attitude cost this business.

I had never been to shop and may never return. I walked in and ordered a Reuben. I asked if I can *see* how much corned beef would be on the sandwhich. The person said 4 ounces. I tried to clarify that I needed to SEE the amount. The person gave me grief and made it clear that it would be an inconvenience to him to heat up the meat and put it on the hoagie only to have me sake for more. Last time I checked the customer is there to be served. We are not there to make the life of the employees easier. On top of that, the employee gave me attitude for my request. It was clear that he didn't understand that some people need to visually see the amount of food in order to make a decision. What infuriated me the most was his clearly giving me attitude making me feel crazy for making such a request and making me feel looked down upon for it. Even when I acquiesced and simple told him to make the sandwich as-is, he STILL gave me attitude. He should have simply parked the attitude and made my sandwich. I left as if I had stayed there would have been profanity. A customer should not have to FIGHT with an employee to convince the employee to fulfill a reasonable request. The photo below is of the meal that I did have where the staff is well known for serving their customers. I want it to be clear to the other just how much that employee's attitude directly impact his or her bottom line. I was more than happy and fully prepared to but a sandwich until I encountered that employee and his piss pour attitude toward me, a paying customer.

Horrible. Pathetic excuse for salad. Extremely small dry sandwich that I had add my own condiments to just to make edible. Don't recommend

I would not say it's as good as an East Coast deli but for Dallas, it was a very fine sub sandwich and I will be back

Cut into it and that runny yolk pours right over the warm corned beef, adding an extra layer of rich, creamy goodness. Messy in exactly the right way. We also had the liver pâté and egg salad, along with the classic pickles and crunchy bagel chips. Everything tasted fresh, generous, and exactly like a great old-school deli meal should. There are plenty of places to get a sandwich in Dallas, but when it comes to this kind of deli food, Deli News is hard to beat. Great portions, great flavors, and food that makes you want to come back before you've even finished lunch. That corned beef, egg, and runny yolk combination alone is worth the trip. Cannot beat it anywhere in Dallas.

First, the spot is actually really cozy and has a well-maintained neighborhood vibe. It's self-seating so we picked a spot near the huge flatscreen so we could also watch a little television. Service was friendly and attentive. The menu is HUGE, so maybe study it a bit to cut down on decision fatigue. I was initially torn between a breakfast plate and the cheese blintzes. I figured, why not go with the blintzes, because you don't really see as an option much these days. I also got a side of cherry compote and orange juice. The orange juice was nice and pulpy. As for the cheese blintzes and the cherry compote- I think I could've done without it- it made it too sweet. But, it was served in the side, so iI just didn't eat much of it. The blintzes themselves were very good and definitely had a very gratifying texture. Slightly sweet on their own, but not too much. My husband had the franks and beans. I didn't try them, but I did snag a French fry and it was very good- golden and perfectly crispy with a piping hot soft center. Prices were a bit steep, but this is a neighborhood restaurant and iI think it's always good to support locally when you can. Goodness knows, prices for goods is high and labor is not cheap. Overall, I would definitely consider coming here again, but this time I would like to try one of their breakfast plates to get a better baseline.
