The doctor (Dr. Abby) took the time and sat with me, reviewed X-rays, and went in depth about the treatment my child would need- AWAY FROM MY CHILD. We have been to offices before where they blurt out what needs to happen and it's very scary for little listening ears. I appreciated this small detail so much. From that point, I waited a few minutes until the treatment plan was ready, it was reviewed with me at the counter (again my child was busy playing games so he wasn't involved in the adult stuff) and then the next appointment was made. They probably won't like it, but they'll thank you later when they still have all their own teeth. My youngest is just wrapping up her time at Just for Kids. She was recently seen by Dr. Patwari and told me he was very nice. Soon she will move to Midtown Family Dentistry next door. She is starting to get too big for a kid's place. I signed up for the monthly plan, but because of work and frequent travel, I couldn't use it. I hadn't been in for over five months and had already called to cancel, but they refused to process cancellations over the phone. When I finally stopped in, it was the first day of a new billing cycle, and they had already charged me again. Even after explaining the situation, they refused to refund me. What made it worse was that they kept insisting there are "many locations" available to use, but I explained multiple times that in the areas I travel for work, there are no convenient locations nearby. Their response was dismissive, as if my circumstances didn't matter. In the end, this business charged me for a service I didn't use for months, ignored my cancellation attempts, and hid behind rigid policies instead of treating me fairly. That's not good customer service--it's taking advantage of customers. Because of this experience, I cannot recommend their membership at all.
