My partner has been suffering from sciatica flare-ups and has been in pain stemming from an old injury. We came in on 12/22 for his first adjustment. Doctor recommended he also wear the BaxMax back brace to relieve tension during the day while working. He followed up a visit on 12/24 and he really did walk and stand a lot better from just the initial visit. Dr. McCan's office was also open during Christmas Eve up until 1:30 pm. I also came to get adjusted on 12/24 and felt relief on my shoulders and back instantly. We'll be coming back again next week!

The staff is friendly, though at times almost overly nice in a way that feels a bit forced. The real problem is their membership. I signed up for the monthly plan, but because of work and frequent travel, I couldn't use it. I hadn't been in for over five months and had already called to cancel, but they refused to process cancellations over the phone. When I finally stopped in, it was the first day of a new billing cycle, and they had already charged me again. Even after explaining the situation, they refused to refund me. What made it worse was that they kept insisting there are "many locations" available to use, but I explained multiple times that in the areas I travel for work, there are no convenient locations nearby. Their response was dismissive, as if my circumstances didn't matter. In the end, this business charged me for a service I didn't use for months, ignored my cancellation attempts, and hid behind rigid policies instead of treating me fairly. That's not good customer service--it's taking advantage of customers. Because of this experience, I cannot recommend their membership at all.

While the office is also her crafting area & doesn't have the "environment" some people might deem necessary to have, that didn't bother me one bit. The first time I went in, I had been dealing with terrible neck pain and migraines for almost a year. I was miserable, grumpy, and honestly just tired of being in pain. I went in on a Thursday and was adjusted by Dr. Kay. By Saturday, I was able to skate again, and the crazy part is--I haven't had that neck pain come back in over two years! About six months ago, my lower back completely gave out. I went back in on a Monday, got adjusted, returned again on Wednesday, and by Friday I was almost 100%. Today, I went in again for some lower back pain. After getting adjusted, I'm already able to move around without the pain I walked in with. If you've ever dealt with back pain, neck pain, or just feeling like your body is out of whack, I definitely recommend giving Envista a try. I felt rushed and that's not a good feeling when going somewhere where it's important to be relaxed and also to relax. I had Dr. Berry once for a surprise and that was my best adjustment. He has a great technique to help you relax and allow the adjustment to take place. The other doctor I had didn't have that ability and the last time I went I felt like I barely got adjusted at all. I also had an interesting experience with the front desk staff over the phone that I won't delineate here but suffice it to say it's not without its flaws. Sometimes in striving for efficiency things can lose some of that personal touch or personal connection. It is perhaps relevant that I would come at the end of the day because of working an 8-5, but I still think every patient should be treated the same, regardless if you're in a hurry to leave. And I shouldn't wonder if that's what's going on. I don't know if this is why I had the experiences I did or not. But if these things don't sound like an issue then this is also a great office, very nice, very clean, and they seem to have an emphasis on prenatal which isn't applicable to me but seems like a beautiful thing.

On New Year's Eve, I was trying to start the year off right by working out. I attempted to do…read moreweighted squats with what I know now as very bad form. As I was doing my 4th rep, my lower back gave out and I was in excruciating pain. I literally could not walk, sit, or stand without agonizing pain. The only thing I could do was crawl. Luckily my husband had been treated by Dr. Ryan before & raved about him so it was a no brainer for me to choose him as my chiropractor. Because the following day was New Year's Day, we weren't able to see him until the day after. I have never been to a chiropractor before and I was scared. Dr. Ryan was very warm & welcoming. So was the staff. We started out with a brief examination & then an X-ray to make sure that I was able to be adjusted that day. Even though it was painful, it had to be done. The next day we went over the results of the X-ray. He showed me the condition of my spine & it wasn't in good shape. It was due to an accumulation of past injuries, poor posture, and labor intensive jobs. He recommended that I have treatments 3 times a week for 12 weeks. The treatments differ from patient to patient & depends on what your needs are. After 1 week, I was able to walk normal, wash dishes, put on my own clothes & had minimal pain. I am almost done with my treatments now & the only thing I regret is that I didn't come here sooner. I wish I had known the importance of spinal health when I was younger.
