Just tried McCleary nails for the first time today with my mom and sister and we were definitely pleased with their service! The owner informed me that they have been here in McCleary for 7 years! I would definitely recommend this place if your looking for a good and friendly pedicure! Walk ins are welcome although I would advise calling ahead of time to double check, as I noticed they were consistently busy. I took my wife to McCleary nails and spa. It was for Easter and she wanted nice blue toenails. Look at the picture it's pretty good. My wife also got the full spa service with multiple wraps and coconuts and massages for feet and legs. So let's say in the end she felt pretty good walking out the front door. Now y'all drive a little bit to McCleary..they need some money so they can get their Shelton shop set up again. Tyler The nail tech treated my wife like royalty. I've been to this nail salon maybe 5 times in the span of 3 years and they have done an ok job but this last time I just went was horrible! I don't make appointments, I just walk in and I wanted to do a mani-pedi. They had this man do my pedicure and he was sooo horrible! The massage was painful and he kept cutting my skin, he made me bleed! I just gave birth to a baby and I wanted to take a day for myself to relax and be pampered but I was in tears when I left. I told the lady I didn't even want my hands done, I needed to get out of there ASAP!!! I'm really upset with this nail salon for just letting anyone from there family show up because there short staffed. And they have NO skill or experience! read more

It was a clen place. the 2 ladys were nice. I would for sure make an apt. the price is right. It is worth the stop.

My mother in law made an appointment with Bebe (not sure I am spelling that right). Her daughter did my pedicure and it was really nice. I got a deluxe pedicure the French gel polish turned out beautiful and the massage was nice too. Bebe did a great job on my nails, I need clear French because I am having surgery in two days. She did a better job that the places I tried in olympia since my go to happy nails closed. Very pleased. Older reviews don't seem to reflect my experience. There's this one particular lady that does Nails in the salon she is the rudest b#@%$ ever! she always wants to argue with me she wants to confront me about my nails and what do I do to make them break?! AND THEN (this is the kicker!) every single time I call and I ask for somebody different like Teresa I absolutely love Teresa she's kind she's great@ the spiteful lady always direct me to another store saying that she quit or she moved!? twice she has misled me so this lady is either crazy! Probably or just freaking a rude spiteful lady and I don't think I'm going to go over there any longer after today! Sorry Teresa but that lady needs to go! The nails itself weren't bad. Not what I asked for but not bad. The nail tech doing my nails however was really bad. She man handled my hands instead of communicating with me where I need to place them which was a little irritating after a while but that's not why this is a one star review. Towards the very end my nails are in the dryer for one last time this lady puts her BARE feet up onto the table where she was doing my nails directly in front of me. I'm still a little mortified and needless to say I need to find a new nail salon. read more

If I could give less I would. I went in for a fill. It was 65.00 I only had cash with me to pay and I was berated for giving an 8.00 tip for both myself and my daughter so I pulled out a credit card I use for emergencies to give her 5.00 more. I left in tears. never going back read more

Time and time again I've given McCleary Nails the opportunity to do even a mediocre job on my nails. I've always been a supporter of small businesses, not this one anymore. I will never return to this nail salon. Many times in the past I've sat waiting for at least 45 minutes for my appointment, I've also watched many people come through the doors and do the same. Every time I leave with polish on my skin and missed areas on my nails. I've been cut a few times and the massage is painful. Today I was overcharged $12 for things I didn't ask for. I can't tell you how many times I said "basic pedicure please." My toes look like a child could have painted them. Extremely disappointed. I used to go here a lot out of convenience because Olympia was too far, I stopped bothering making appointments after I would wait 20-30 minutes after the scheduled time to get in. I kept giving them chances but ended up giving up because my nails were always sloppy, gel polish was lumpy and my acrylics were never shaped how I asked. If it was possible to give zero stars I would. Called at 12:30 to see if they had an opening for 3 full sets, they said come in 20-30 minuets. We set up an appointment for 1:30 and everything was good. Got there and all the pedicure chairs were filled and there was two people getting a manicure, a woman just pointed to the direction where the waiting chairs were at and where the nail polish was, she didn't say a word. Didn't ask if we were the 1:30 or asked what we wanted, nothing. It had been about 15 minutes when two separate people had said that the water their feet were in was cold. About 10 minutes later a women sits us down like we are going to get started on our nails but no. While we were waiting there for another 10 minutes someone said there water is cold again. That was not okay. At this point we had been there over 30 minutes passed our appointment time, I was pissed. I went to the bathroom and when I came out asked the people I was with if they were ready to leave and we left. Not once did anyone speak to us, ask if we were the 1:30 appointment, ask what color we wanted or even offered us colors to look at. Only time they spoke to us was to say we are almost done and I said no we are leaving. Highly recommend not going here. read more
