I recently received my discharge of debt in Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, and not that long after, I received a few solicitations, one of them from Fresh Start Head Start, which appears to be affiliated with this Automotive Group. I was preapproved for an Auto Loan up $34k, and with great reluctance, I officially applied with this program. I decided to proceed and see what happens. First, I received a text message from some women at McCluskey. Then, I got an email from Joseph Duncan, which was messy and lacked proper paragraph separation, making it appear unprofessionally written. Within that email, I was given the contact information to assume the role of Bankruptcy Auto loan Specialist, Glen Schuchart. Then, I received a text message from Glen himself on Thursday, July 10th, 2025. We were supposed to speak around 3 PM; however, due to homework for my Sociology class, I needed to reschedule the call with him for Friday morning, July 11, 2025, and he acknowledged and said he would call me then. Friday came, no phone call, when I followed up via text message, no reply. If you have an emergency or if you are not going to be in the next day and you have customers you agreed mutually with that you were going to call it is then your job to have a colleague or your supervisor follow up and give a brief explanation on what happened and what to expect moving forward. That is called being professional and showing respect. As a busy native New Yorker from NYC who attends college and works, I have zero tolerance for businesses and people representing those businesses wasting my time, which I do not appreciate at all, regardless of whether it's intentional or not. I am especially cautious now about who I do business with, as filing Chapter 7 Bankruptcy and navigating the process is extremely tedious and stressful. I am not going to make bad financial decisions like I did in the past. Working with Glen and McCluskey would be a bad financial decision based on how things have gone thus far. Part of the email subject line Joseph Duncan wrote was "QUICK & EASY AUTO LOAN." That is false; nothing about this has been quick or easy; it has been messy and unprofessional. Therefore, I will not be doing business with Glen and McCluskey.

After doing my research on EAG I felt confident that the car is being sold from a very reputable car company. So I decided to contact EAG for additional information on the car. I sent an email and hoped to negotiate on the pricing. The car was about 10% higher than what I wanted to pay (compared to other similar listings on the internet). EAG was firm on their price and fully explained why. They are not just flipping cars. All of their cars are get a comprehensive inspection and get a full overhaul to bring the car back to new as possible. My car received about $8-$10k ***retail value*** worth of services and parts (Valve adjustment, oil pan gasket, belts, etc). All paperwork was done through email and FedEx. I was warned that the "rejuvenation" process can take several weeks before I can take delivery of the car. During this process, I received regular updates with pictures. When the car was ready. I booked my plane ticket (San Francisco to Cincinnati). The owner of the company pick me and my friend from the airport. We were treated to breakfast and a tour of EAG. We got an up close and personal tour of museum quality super rare cars (M1, Z1, M3 Lightweight, etc) After the tour, I finally pick up the keys to my dream car! The car was better than I imagined. The doors shut tight. No rattles. Everything felt solid. Everything functioned as it should (wipers, heated seats, AC, sunroof). I cannot believe that this was an 18 year old car. I chose not to ship the car back to California because I wanted to drive cross country to fully experience and bond with my *new* car. About 20 mins into our journey home, the tire monitoring warning and DSC lights came on. I immediately called EAG, and they told me to come back to the shop so they can look at the issue. They found a faulty sensor on one of the wheels and replaced it at no cost. We drove the car for over 2,400 miles, 36 hours behind the wheel, across 11 states, 4 time zones. The car was absolutely perfect and performed as designed. Once again, I cannot believe that this is an 18 year old car. EAG did a fantastic job and I am extremely happy with my purchase. Bottom line: You get what you pay for!

Buyer Beware - My Experience with Jeff Wyler Nissan Kings…read more Buyer Beware. Before purchasing my 2015 Infiniti Q50 from Jeff Wyler Nissan Kings, I made my expectations very clear. My agreement to purchase the vehicle was based on there being no fluid leaks or major mechanical issues. I specifically asked that the vehicle be checked for fluid leaks and that all fluid levels be inspected because I wanted to avoid buying a vehicle with existing mechanical problems. I relied on those assurances when deciding to purchase the car. Less than two weeks after taking the vehicle home, it overheated and had to be towed to Infiniti of Dayton. The coolant reservoir was empty. During their inspection, Infiniti found a failed thermostat along with leaking valve cover gaskets and PCV components. I was informed that the oil leak needed to be repaired immediately because oil was dripping onto the exhaust, creating a potential fire hazard. I ended up paying $1,837 out of pocket for the necessary repairs. When I contacted Jeff Wyler Nissan Kings, I reminded them that I had specifically requested the vehicle be checked for fluid leaks and fluid levels before I agreed to purchase it. In our text conversation, I was told the vehicle was not a certified vehicle, did not go through a thorough inspection, and that they had inspected only what I had asked them to inspect. That is exactly why I am so disappointed--I specifically asked that the vehicle be checked for leaks because I did not want to buy a car with existing mechanical issues. I also explained that my warranty company had requested the dealership's inspection paperwork as part of their claim review. I wasn't looking for an argument; I simply wanted to understand what had been inspected and hoped we could reach a fair resolution if these issues existed at the time of sale. When I was unable to resolve the issue with my salesperson, I asked to speak with the General Manager. I was told he was unavailable, so I left a detailed voicemail explaining the situation and asking for a return call. I never received a response. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend purchasing a vehicle from Jeff Wyler Nissan Kings. I would encourage anyone considering buying a used vehicle there to have it independently inspected before signing any paperwork--or consider purchasing from a dealership that stands behind the vehicles they sell. I trusted the inspection I specifically requested because my decision to buy the car depended on there being no fluid leaks or major mechanical problems. Unfortunately, my experience did not match those expectations.
