    Crispy Chicken Caesar salad
    Stacy A.

We went to an outdoor event in downtown Wayzata and stopped in for dinner. The decor is cozy and we were seated by the fireplace, which was nice. There were a couple of pasta dishes that sounded really good to me but I was hesitant to try them since this was an Irish pub. I went with the crispy chicken Cesar salad and it was tasty. Perfect amount of dressing and cheese and the chicken was tasty. One negative is the kids meals are quite expensive, I believe $13 for just basic kids food. I also didn't like the water (I know it sounds weird but it really tasted like tap water and didn't have ice). Other than, perfectly nice pub in a prime location.

McCormack offers fast and friendly service with a beautiful view of the lake. Parking is a bit limited, but there are parking structures available. The food was tasty--my husband loved his burger, and my club sandwich really hit the spot. A great spot for a meal with a view!

The ambiance is wonderful, both inside and out. Outside there is a view of the lake under a covered patio, inside is warm and inviting, what you think of for an old Irish pub. We sat inside in the bar due to a bee problem outside, this was not our intent, but glad they told us about it vs just sitting us out there. Overall the service was slow, we waited 15 -20 minutes to get our first drink. I ordered a Rachel, that came with a "special sauce" that has a kick to it. Unfortunately my stomach can't handle anymore kicks- totally my fault that I didn't look closely at the menu, where it clearly calls out special sauce. Lesson learned, look at the menu before ordering. The bottom piece of bread was soggy, my guess it was from the sauerkraut. I order Rachels all the time and have not had this happen before, I wonder if other restaurants I drain the kraut better to prevent this. I requested aioli to dip my fries in, I think I got straight mayo. My husband got the Fish and Chips, he was not impressed, he cannot pinpoint why, but it just wasn't that good. Coleslaw was good, but the compote of tartar sauce was not full and not enough. Both our orders came with plenty of fries. To McCormicks defense, we did not bring up any of this to our server, it had been a long week and neither of us were in the mood to complain.

Starting with the setting it is on lake st with a million dollar view of lake Minnetonka Yes "Princes" Purple rain lake Minnetonka it's a real Irish pub in Minnesota. They have a great menu all prepared with skill and pride we love coming here I had the fish and chips fresh perfectly prepared my wife had the mushroom Swiss burger and she loved the truffle fries we ended the meal with a key lime pie slice so sweet. The service is great with the servers knowing there fare well and the Guinness glows like spring water

Parking is at a premium in Wyzata, but it's free. I have yet to go to McCormicks and not find a spot within a block radius. But that's not why you go to McCormicks. You go for the Guinness. By far, the best I've found in the state and arguably, the best I've found anywhere. Not that I haven't had a single poured Guinness better in Boston, because I have. But it was one pour, vs every single time, getting something worthwhile. Honestly I can not speak highly enough about their Guinness. It's everything I could have ever hoped for so much more...every...single...time. Don't get me wrong, their food is good, their signature burger is wonderful, their truffle fries, worthy of brining home. But what gets me is obviously the Guinness. They are a super inviting bar/restaurant with wonderful views but you're going to be hard pressed to find an Irish pub with this much cleanliness, friendly and fast service, and warm feeling when you walk in the door. Honestly it's one of the few places I still visit where I feel like money was well spent. Love this place.

Really nothing special about this place unfortunately. Super small portions and the service is just ok! Not worth the steep prices, so probably won't be back.

The staff is friendly, the food is good, but I must say the brunch salmon salad needs adjusting. Otherwise great! Dog friendly patio.

Upon entering, you will notice a small bar with an adequately stocked bar, featuring about 8 taps and a number of canned and bottled beers for your liking. There are plenty of high-top tables and booths to accommodate a decent crowd. MaGillycuddy's Bar is one of those places that instantly makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between cozy and relaxed, thanks in no small part to the awesome tin ceiling-- it kind of gives this place a vintage charm you don't see often. The crowd is just what one would expect, just regular folks enjoying a libation and watching the Wild game. And they have pulltabs!! We settled in on a high-top table and ordered beers and our lunch. The Nashville Hot Shrimp is a must-try. just the right amount of heat, and packed with flavor. The Guinness cheeseburger is an open-faced burger topped with fries, Guinness cheese sauce, and, of course, bacon. That was a bit messy, and was enjoyable, but there are some other items I will want to try before going back to that entree. Between the solid food offerings, the friendly vibe, and the cool interior, MaGillycuddy's has all the makings of a local favorite. If you're anywhere near Aonka, do yourself a favor and stop in--you won't regret it.

There is a parking ramp and street parking in the area. Both are free. They were decorating for Halloween and it gave us such a fun vibe! We were immediately welcomed in and the service was phenomenal the entire time we were there! I would go back on service alone! The upstairs area isn't overly large but they do have tables, booths and a bar to sit at. There was a sign that said "basement closed" so I assume there was more down there. There are TV's, so this would be a cool spot to grab a beer and watch the game for sure! There is also a small outdoor seating area and is next to a fountain. The food: The deep fried pickle spears were good! The batter is light and crispy! However, because these are spears, they took a long time to cool to properly eat. It comes with jalapeño ranch, which has a slight kick but nothing crazy. I recommend getting the regular ranch too! My boyfriend got the Reuben and noted it was "solid." I got the deep fried buffalo chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries! Both were excellent! The chicken was seasoned well before battered and the sweet potato fries had a sweet/lime/seasoning that was unique and tasty! This is definitely worth checking out!

Huge bar top surrounded by TVs, lots of Irish decor, and cute booths that really lean into the theme. Unfortunately, things started off a little rough. The person I met there waited over 10 minutes at the host stand before anyone acknowledged them. I totally understand hosts may be on break or helping elsewhere, but with the restaurant nearly empty it was surprising that no bartender or server stepped in. Once we were seated, it also took a while before our server came by. That said, our server ended up being super friendly and attentive the rest of the visit. We ordered an Irish lemonade, a cold beer, and the Gaelic Whiskey Bites. They were exactly what you'd expect with an extra crunchy exterior, but the sauce was actually really good! Honestly made me wish I had tried a burger with that sauce instead, but we weren't hungry enough for more food. Overall, it's a decent neighborhood Irish bar, but nothing really stood out to me. I'd probably come back for the patio or on St. Patrick's Day!

I would definitely come back here and try their other foods, especially their chicken pot pie.

Our car got struck and we did not arrive until 1 1/2 hours late. We were so late that we would have just had a drink had we known there was a time limit on the table BUT our waitress, Addison 8, did not mention this and took our meal order leisurely. Just after we were served she announced to the table that we all had to leave in 15 minutes. I said I assumed it did not apply to us as we had not even started to eat. she told us it applied to all of us. She told us if I was not happy about this I could speak to the Manager. I told her I would like to. then she said I could speak to her instead but I told her I wanted to speak to the Manager. No Manager ever materialized. I probably will never go to this restaurant again. I know times are tough and I don't object to time limits on tables BUT if a customer is very late the least a server should do is let them know there is a very limited time left for them to eat BEFORE they order $70 worth of food and drinks. Do yourself a favor and get the Dessert Flight; the portions are more than fair for the price and the Banana Cream Pie is to die for. We recently did brunch at Hazelwood for the first time. The Monkey Bread is a generous size with a crispy outside and gooey center - exactly how you would want it to be. The Smoked Gouda Hash browns are worth getting on the side with any item that doesn't already include them; they are so creamy and have a rich cheesy flavor with a nice crispy top layer. Unfortunately, I would not recommend the Avocado Toast. The bacon bits, lettuce, and poached egg completely overwhelm the avocado, which is virtually nonexistent. It's served on a very small and boring piece of wheat toast.
