I am writing to share my exceptional experience with McCurley Subaru. On December 23, 2025, while driving to a doctor's appointment in Richland, Washington, the interior of our car suddenly filled with smoke coming from the infotainment display. We pulled into the first available lot, which happened to be adjacent to McCurley Subaru. A salesman named Freddy saw us while returning from lunch and immediately offered his assistance. Within moments, he had a team of mechanics inspecting the car and disconnecting the radio to ensure our safety. Furthermore, Freddy personally drove me to my doctor's appointment so I wouldn't miss it. The team at McCurley Subaru went above and beyond to help us during a stressful situation. They are an outstanding group, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new vehicle or for service on their vehicle. read more

I've been treated better by people trying to sell me a CD on the street corner than the sales department at Mccurley. When we backed out of a deal they were trying to pressure us into they shredded my wife's car title as retribution. They had our contact info, they could have asked us to pick it up or mailed it to us. Heck they could have walked it down to our house, we live just two blocks away, but they chose to be petty about it. Be Warned, took my Subaru in for a safety repair, told me rear brakes rotors & pads needed to be replaced, upon checking they Lied they are thieves quoted $500. It only had 40k on it & rear brakes rotors?? I can't imagine how many people have been ripped off $$$$ read more

We paid over $2000 for them to fix our daughter's car....picked it up ,drove 40 miles ,smoking, leaking oil every light back on. They forgot to to put o rings and bolts back. We took it back ,they refused to fix it saying it was something we did ! read more

Terrible first time experience with them Alexa was not able to provide gas for us when we first bought the car saying it needed to be new and it was new to us. After we made a purchase they did not care to help us anymore and Carlos was not friendly or nice and did not care to help us in anyway whatsoever ever I do not recommend you buy from this dealership. read more

This place just keeps getting worse and worse. We have purchased 4 cars from them over 15 years and their service department and customer service seems to get lower in quality each year. They are never "staffed" enough to fit needs, they claim appointments will only be a few hours long, yet they actually take all day and force you to call them to get any information about YOUR vehicle that you are entrusting to them. It's truly a shame that the only Subaru servicing place in the entire Tri-Cities is continuously operating at the lowest quality possible. read more

Subaru batteries are terrible and they will not cover them. New battery 3 years ago. Replaced battery 2 times under the original 3 year warranty. I am now under a year on the 3rd and it is dead again. Beware, they do not start the warranty with every battery and will not replace this battery under a year old. We will not return to McCurley Subaru they do not back their product. Service representative became frustrated and hung up. Absolutely ridiculous. Avoid McCurley Subaru service at all cost. If I could give negative stars I would. read more

Might be ok to buy a car, but do not go here for repairs. AT MINIMUM they charge $108.90 to essentially type your information into a computer, and look at your car. Firestone does it for $9, and most places that want to keep customers do it for free. It's a ripoff. read more

Dammit, have to give 1 star. If you buy a battery for a car, it should last more than a year. Subaru replaced battery a year ago and Would not replace due to 3 yr/60,000 mile warranty. Regardless, battery didn't last a year! Customer service in service department hangs up on you on the phone and walks out of room. Won't be returning for generations. read more

Went to get my break pads replaced however when I got my vehicle back my blinkers stopped working immediately and it looked like they unplugged my blinkers specifically so I would go back and spend more money. Never going back lol read more

My car was towed there and they couldn't find it then dodged my calls and hung up on me repeatedly on top of that the service they did was done incorrectly and I had to take it to another Subaru dealership. This service department hasn't changed a bit since I wrote my last review in July of 2023. I took my 2020 Outback in for the 48,000 mile service and told them I also wanted them to rotate the spare tire in with the rotation. I was told since it is a full size spare, that can be done. Well guess what, after them having my car for 2-1/2 hours when I was told it would be 1 hour, they didn't rotate the spare tire in. Now I call them and guess what? Still no one to answer my calls. Every time I was there for the window issues, I was waiting for a minimum of 2 hours. I don't have the time to waste waiting and waiting and waiting. We bought a 2020 Subaru Outback as soon as it came into the dealership. We also bought the Gold + bumper to bumper warranty, because we were told it covered everything from bumper to bumper. Apparently not. I ran over something laying in the road and popped a tire. I did not expect the tires to be warranted, so I called McCurley for an estimate. Was given the estimate and told them i needed to confirm with my husband. I called back 10 minutes later to order the tires and was told that I had to speak to the same person who quoted me the tires, who was now out to lunch. Left my name and number, seven months later and I am still waiting for them to call me back. Now, my windshield cracked from the inside in a freak happening. I googled why and found out Subaru had windshield issues in the past. I called the dealership, and after ten days of waiting for a return call, i finally got it. Was told to bring the car in they would cover the cost under warranty. Once i got there, I was told that it was not a warranty issue and it was also not covered under the Gold+ bumper to bumper warranty. But for $1400, they would replace it for me. I told the service manager that their service sucked, and he said "I know, nothing I can do about it." Well, I can, I can give my business elsewhere. read more

My father who happens to be 79 years old was in there yesterday. Whoever is your service person they were rude and confrontational. He called was told to show up in the morning. He did and then had to wait 30 minutes to be told to leave because he was not on the list. If he did not leave the service person said he would move my father's vehicle himself. My father was not confrontational just was trying to explain that he had been told to show up at this time. Several customers were shocked with this outburst. Because, of this he nor any of our family members and friends will not be doing business with McCurley. read more

Just purchased a vehicle at this dealership. What can be a very stressful experience was made most tolerable by my salesman Rafael Torres. Rafael questioned me in regards to my needs & quickly pulled in two models to look at. He was most patient when I called my son to come bye to help me test drive. I took the car home to ensure that it would fit in my garage. His backup team was fair & accommodating in regard to pricing as well as efficient in drawing up the sales documents. Rafael is very professional, knowledgeable about his merchandise & respectful of my need to take time in coming to a decision. I was never subjected to car sales ploys. This is my third Subaru & I always use McCurley for services as their pricing is competitive. It's nice to know I don't have to wait for hours. They continue to have my business. I drive all over the country so I requested a complete inspection of my break system and engine because I hadnt taken it to a Subaru dealer. It's a NY car and so I KNOW the rust is there. They charged me 900 and said it was all good. I got to California and it needed a lot of work. I'm sure there are more issues but as a female, Im sure I'll just keep getting charged for nothing. read more

Not the best experience I've had at a car dealership. Salesman would get super frustrated whenever he offered us a deal and we'd say we'd have to think about it - we are college students buying a car and this is a major decision, so we are entitled to as much time to think about the decision as we decide, and we are aware of the potentiality of a specific car being bought if we are taking too long to think about it. Becka, saleswoman, took over and was genuine and really wanted to get us in to something we would love and be able to afford. Extremely helpful, super relatable, and even sat in my car with me for 45 minutes after I signed papers to call starlink to help figure out an issue for me. 5 stars for her. Thanks, Becka! read more

These guys were great. We had an engine failure out on the flats along the Columbia River, several miles away, and ended up needing a tow to Richland, 1-1/2 hrs away. This was not home, so we might have been stranded. McCurley set us up with a loaner, same model as our. And since it took a while to get the part, we had the loaner for a couple of weeks. They were great! And the work was completed under warranty and the car is running fine again. Thanks! read more

Brian the service manager went above and beyond service, he was extremely helpful, super friendly, just how some of the staff have been in the past years and with the level of care we are used to receiving from the team at McCurley! I highly recommend anyone who has their vehicle serviced here, spot check the work that is supposedly done. Two services ago apparently my oil drain plug was over tightened... I say this because my most recent service I pulled the dip stick to find my oil as black as my diesels oil... frustrated I decided since I am beyond my warranty period I would change it myself. Plug was so tight I had to bed a set of vice grips and use an 18" cheater bar to break it free... makes me wonder if they started a change and washed their hands of it topped it off and changed the filter. Something as simple as an oil change and issues were found... while I was under I found the valve cover gasket has been seeping... thanks for the supposed inspection conducted 3k miles ago at my $900 60k service... silly me for shelling out, who knows if the tranny and diff fluids were really flushed... Jane Andrew's. I wanted to leave an update! We just rolled over 70k miles and the Forester was shifting funny. (Weird since it was just flushed). Pulled the transmission stick to find two issues. One NON Subaru HP transmission fluid was used- (fluid was clear and not red) Two lucky me the transmission was OVERFILLED. Drained and filled 3 cycles elsewhere to remove non Subaru approved fluid. Car shifts as it should again. I hope others read this. I appreciate the customer service "reach-out" however, I cannot wrap my head around these mistakes. These are issues I would expect to find at a jiffy lube/quick lube, not Subaru certified mechanics. Warning to others, double check after services performed at this shop. read more

I bought a 2022 Outback in March and have had nothing but a terrible experience with their customer service. They overchargd for window tinting and it took 4 months to get it refunded. Today I just spent 2 hours getting my oil changed and I had an appointmen. I will drive to Hermiston, Yakima or Spokane before I will ever step foot into that dealership ever again! In May I took my car in to get a recall part replaced. They told me my brakes needed replaced. I was surprised as my car only had 55k miles and the brakes on my last car last way longer. So my husband bought new brakes and rotors to replace them. He got the old brake pads off and they weren't even half way used!! Lie #1. Regardless we replaced the brakes because well we had already ordered them and gone through the effort. So in June I had brand new brakes. Today I went in to get an oil change less than a month later, and THEY SAID MY REAR BRAKES NEEDED REPLACED! Lie #2. How about you gain some integrity. I will never bring my car back there or buy a car from them in the future. read more

If I could rate the dealership a zero I would have. 4 months ago, I ORDERED a Limited Ascent with the couple items that I was told had to be ordered that way from the factory (was told they could not do it at the dealership). Went to pick it up today & right away I noticed the options I had to ordered from the factory were not even on the car. When I pointed it out I was told I would need to make an appointment to bring it back & they would have them installed. When it came to pricing, they would not even budge on price at all even though I was paying all cash. They are horrible. Kept saying they wanted to make a deal but in truth they only wanted to make the deal on their 1st offer, no negotiations, no other offers - take it or leave it & bullying. Then I find out, they traded the car from Spokane...I thought I ordered it? Explains why it wasn't the way I "ordered" it! So shady! read more

I recently purchased a new WRX from McCurley Integrity Subaru. I really enjoyed the buying process. There were no hidden fees, pressure tactics, or disrespectful sales people. I'd recommend them. I actually felt like they wanted to be doing this kind of work and that they took pride in being respectable auto merchants. I had a very challenging encounter with another Subaru Dealer in Wenatchee, WA who I strongly do not recommend. Wes, Evan, and Javier made up for that very negative experience by treating me like a human being, instead of something to manipulate and discard. I would feel comfortable in having my loved ones dealing with Wes. I'm protective of my people and this is the highest form of praise I can really give any business. I wonder if the name could bare fault to a false advertisement? I requested information via the web to get the "web price" for a few different options, I was hastily contacted by a polite genuine sincere feminine voice that I explained my budget and situation to, saying that if they did not have what I was looking for no hard feelings but I stick to my budget, I live a couple hours away and am juggling more than a monkey at a circus through the official year of Jumanji. Who I thought was a car salesperson, was a sweet kind person that assured me that they had plenty inventory they could come to an agreement with me that was within the perimeter of my financial limits before passing me onto another employee. She assured me prior to sending me to the next in online sales agent inquiry chain of command, that especially in light of the current state of the economy and surplus on the lot they had inventory that they could match with my needs and I was in good hands. That second McCurley Subaru employee was very nice despite not disclosing or sending the information he said he would more than once. He sounded uncertain of the specifics of the details of the warranties and specifics I wanted to have prearranged prior to my arrival to purchase on site, and led me to believe he was doing research for me and working behind the scenes to get answers he could not provide off the top of his head. Inconsistent callbacks when he said he would, I figured hey its 2020 weirdest year ever with Covid, we all are going through jumanji I won't look at it as a red flag or fault the poor guy. This McCurley guy said he would bring it to his team lead too to make sure we had it covered. I made them aware of my schedule and impending travel requirements necessitating the pre planned well executed no dilly dallying trip to their dealership would require as I scheduled medical appointments around it not to waste any time as my duties have me on a tight itinerary. Then when I notified them I was ready to come down and seal the deal the manager Evan reached out and made it clear that meeting me in my financial budget was not only not something he was going to have happen but also was degrading in tone and language. Many backhanded comments that were not edifying were given to me in a snarky way telling me that despite my interactions with other Subaru Dealerships that any information from any other person would be inaccurate because it did not come from Evan the Subaru Know It All self proclaimed god. I tried t overlook the arrogant condescending subterfuge and trust that truly deep down all humanity is truly good and doing the best they know how, Evan would not make me feel like this on purpose he had to be unintentionally manipulating my emotions like a fiddle. I grappled in my heart with my mind trying to make multiple excuse scenarios up in my head for his lack of couth. Just a few minutes later, the moment my phone alerted me that Evan had text that he had emailed me the information on warranties I requested a week ago, so I could see them in print, my shoulders dropped. In a matter of minutes I was emotionally drained my heart deflated from the chiding. As my heart sank through my stomach, I realized I fell into a trap, I could not waste my precious energy on them whatsoever not another minute. Spending tens of thousands of my hard earned cold dollars on something shiny and new should be pleasurable and exhilarating, not leaving me feeling like my stomach was in a billion knots and I just got jerked around like a lousy good for nothing nobody who wasted their time and their energy during a pandemic to try to blow money on a new car. Irony...not even an hour after that happened someone I know from TriCities called and asked if I was still coming down tomorrow to buy from McCurley and she said the exact same thing happened to her coworker who lives there in Kennewick. I have only had positive experiences with McCurley Integrity Subaru in Pasco, WA. Every time I've needed maintenance done on my vehicle, their team has been able to make the necessary repairs. I've never had any surprisingly high charges because they always have given me an accurate quote before doing the maintenance. Their team is friendly and welcoming, and their service is fast and reliable (expect a couple of hours for a standard service appointment). Whenever I take my vehicle in for a service appointment, their team not only performs the scheduled maintenance, but they also make a complete diagnosis of my vehicle's condition and share it with me. I recommend McCurley Integrity Subaru to anyone looking for reliable and quality vehicle service. read more

Waste of my time !! We ordered a new Subaru on January 5th, and were told it should arrive around the end of March or first of April. We heard nothing - no update, no check-in, nothing. I finally called them mid-April to find out the status of my car. First off, the girl answering the phone was pretty rude, my salesperson was not in so I asked to speak to a manager, a message was taken and I was called back later that day. The sales manager said my file showed my car could not be ordered !!! There was no explaination as to why I was not called and told this. They then tried to upsell on what they had on hand or what was due in soon, but every car was over $10K more than what I ordered. I asked them to cancel my order and refund my deposit. Then I was told there was no receipt of my deposit in my file, so I had to send them my copy so I could be refunded! I called another dealership (in Oregon) and had my car within a month, actually a bit less then at McCurley, and was treated with professionalism and kindness. The salesperson called me every week to update me on the delivery and make sure I had not questions. We will never go back to any McCurley dealerships, they treated us like they couldn't care less about our business. read more

I have never even sent an email but I feel that people need to know about my experience at Bill McCurley Integrity Subaru. The old term "Bait and Switch" comes to mind. After the offer sheet was signed and we agreed to the terms of the deal.....while the paper work was being processed, the General Manager started taking the deal apart. I just want everyone to know, it was the worst car buying experience I have ever had. Buyers beware, the General Manager is not good for his word. He is very dishonest. Scheduled my 2016 Outback for spark plugs replacement after being quoted $195. Brought it in and they ask me to sign the contract for $275. When I noted that they had quoted me less they just said it must have been a mistake. I priced the job at $195 over the phone at least two times. read more
