I have never even sent an email but I feel that people need to know about my experience at Bill McCurley Integrity Subaru. The old term "Bait and Switch" comes to mind. After the offer sheet was signed and we agreed to the terms of the deal.....while the paper work was being processed, the General Manager started taking the deal apart. Scheduled my 2016 Outback for spark plugs replacement after being quoted $195. Brought it in and they ask me to sign the contract for $275. When I noted that they had quoted me less they just said it must have been a mistake. I priced the job at $195 over the phone at least two times. read more

I don't not recommend McCurley Subaru! In September my check engine light came on in my 2011 Outback. Since then it's been in the shop FIVE times for weeks at a time costing me $600+ and we are now in January and I've been able to drive my car for 4 days out of the past 4 months without the lights being on. MIND YOU...my car has shut off at highway speed, it will hard shift causing the car to violently jerk while driving and the steering will lock up not allowing you to navigate WHILE driving! I currently have a Subaru that was supposed to be "safe & reliable" sitting in my garage because it is not safe to drive. DO NOT take your vehicle to McCurley they will not fix the issue but charge you and tell you like they did. read more

I had a Mazda lease and it was close to turn in time so I contacted McCurley Mazda to find out what was required from them and left 3 voicemails over a 1 month period with no return phone call. When i finally was able to get ahold of someone, I was told that both my husband and I would have to be there to ground out the lease. We live an hour away and had to travel from Yakima- so my husband had to take half a day off of work. When we got there, they only needed one persons signature and it took all of 5 minutes- it would have been nice to knoe that my husband didn't have to miss work to travel. They also continually tried to get us into a new lease even though I said we already bought a new car. I will never recommend them to anyone. read more

I took my 2017 Subaru wrx to mccurley integrity to get a oil change at 13k miles . I was asked if I wanted to get my car wash after and decided to let them do it because it was filthy. After getting my car back I decided to go to the auto store to get a towel to dry my car off , after leaving the store I noticed that my front license plate was missing from aftermarket plate relocater. I head back down the street to mccurley and ask someone at the service desk if they could look in car wash for my plate , they asked the technician who worked on my car and he sure enough found my plate in the car wash . He apologized for not noticing the aftermarket plate before putting my car through the car wash . No damaged to the car that I could see but my plate was now balled up and my plate relocator was broken . I was told I could buy new plates and i would be reimbursed for them and they will order me a new relocator. I leave and return a week later , no relocator no check . Return another week later , no relocator no check , I give them a copy of receipt for my plates . Another week go by , no check no relocator , it seems like they forgot about it. It has now been 4 weeks from the incident and I was told my relocator will be in the 1/23/18 but my check will take another 2 weeks . No call saying my relocator came in or any news on my check . read more

It is unfortunate that Subaru fails to support their vehicles. There is a major problem with their emissions air pump system on many models. A quick web search "Subaru Air Pump" and you will see it is a major issue. I personally have had this repaired multiple times over the past few years, costing close to $1,000 each time. Water easily enters the hood scoop (turbo models) and will enter the air pump system, rusting the valves leading to costly repairs. The repair ranges from $600 - $1200 depending on what pump or valve failed. Deleting the emissions air pump system is not an option by the dealership. A local tuner shop can replace the system with block off plates, however this will cost a minimum of $700 to fix. Potentially this will cost more if you don't already have an AccessPort or similar device to get rid of the CEL after the modification. This dealership's service department failed to follow up with this issue. After waiting two weeks and hearing nothing from the dealership I personally had to contact Subaru of America. After another week the Pasco dealership contacted me saying that there is nothing they can do. This system was repaired and had parts replaced in January of 2016, there was failure of this system in August of 2016, none of the repaired parts or system was covered in their one year repair guarantee. Furthermore, the dealership failed to inform me of a recall of the Takata airbag. The front passenger seat airbag is under recall at this time. I received a manufactures letter stating that I am to not have any passengers in the front seat until the parts are replaced. After years of being a loyal customer I am disappointed by Subaru and will not be purchasing another Subaru due to the lack of support by Subaru of America and the poor service from the service department at the local dealership. read more

I called McCurley Subaru in Pasco Washington due to the Takata Airbag Recall on my vehicle. They gave me an estimate of January 2017 for an airbag fix (I call Carter Subaru and they told me the earliest would be March 2017 - I trust Carter as they are the largest dealership in the NW). I then visited McCurely Subaru in person as they told me on the phone to come into the dealership and we could work something out (I mentioned about Toyota giving loaner vehicles due to the airbag issues over the phone). I went in to visit and they proceeded to not know anything about the recall I was talking about and gave me the run-a-round. They proceed to tell me about 2017 vehicles and I could trade in my vehicle, which is great, but wouldn't give me a price on trade claiming "I couldn't get a value until I picked out a vehicle and started the paperwork at which point they would do a value analysis on my vehicle". I said no thanks and the sale person preceded to try and sell me a used 5-seat (same model, newer year) vehicle with the same airbag issue - seriously? I need 5 seats in my vehicle (not 4). I would never buy a car from McCurley Subaru, Carter Subaru in Seattle, like I mentioned above is the largest dealership in the NW and beats every new car McCurley Subaru sells by at least $2K (I know this for a fact since we just purchased a new 2015 Outback last year and McCurley would not match Carter Subaru's price). Our salesman Jose was very professional and made us feel comfortable until we met with Rebecca from finance at Subaru very unprofessional and rude was trying to force to sell warranty and did not respect the decision that was being made she started to ask personal information that had nothing to do with the purchase of the vehicle made the whole process very uncomfortable and felt threatened when she said "cameras are watching and hearing you" when we did not say anything disrespectful to her and the cameras like she mentioned are there to prove it and see how she was behaving. After we didn't choose the warranty that she kept on being pushy about she would just give papers to sign and did not explain throughly what they were she would just toss it and ignore us it was the most uncomfortable buying experience we had in our lives. If we were not so far in the buying process we would have walked away and not purchased anything it was that bad. We had mention to the salesman that we were in need of more vehicles in the near future for other relatives but this was an awful experience that we never plan to purchase from here because Rebecca Hansen from finance made the purchase very uncomfortable we left in tears of frustration rather than being happy about the purchase. Here is an exemplary story about service at any McCurley dealership. I arrived at the Tri Cities airport after a long trip, only to find my Subaru in the parking lot had a dead battery. I had inadvertently left a dome light on. It was 100 degrees and I was late for an important meeting. Panicked, I called my salesman to ask whether I should call Subaru or AAA for help. He said no worries, he would personally be there in ten minutes to charge my car. He was there in short order! I'm so fortunate to have purchased my car at McCurley, where even the salesperson treats you like family long after you've bought your car. The dealership repair shop is supposed to be overpriced, right? So when my Subaru had issues while I was in town visiting family, I took it to a small, local shop. Their repair estimate was almost $600, so I started calling around. McCurley's quoted both an oem part (rather than the shop's O'Reilly part) and labor at half of what the shop had wanted. They did the work for their exact, quoted amount, gave my Subaru a once-over with recommendations for what to keep an eye on, offered a free car wash, and had a nice spot to wait with free wi-fi and coffee. Don't buy from these clowns. If you have Integrity in your name, then you should charge 8.3% sales tax. Which is what the McCurley company is paying to the state. They claim that their software is set up for 8.9%, like there's nothing they can do about that. A lot of dealers in the Tri Cities do this, PDX is a better place to buy a new rig. More dealers per capita, with out the BS. Go in with a deal from out of town and make them match it or else you will be subject to all kinds of non sense like inflated sales tax for example. read more

Let me begin by saying all the reviews on the Mccurley website have been vetted by the company before they are posted. That being said, I have bought two Tahoes from Mccurley. You would think that for 70k you would get a pretty good vehicle. Not the case. My 2015 had more recalls, broken brackets, unsecured panelling, etc... I wasted hours of my life getting that one worked on. Now, my 2019 is just as bad. Yet this time they have just chosen to ignore me instead of help to make it better. They chose to say I should not do business with them anymore. I spent $140k in cash there. And because I was promised that my tires would be fixed, they chose to tell me to take my business elsewhere. Poor customer service. read more

This is a great dealership. I did some test driving when I was looking for a new car and the salesman were great. I ended up buying a used vehicle from somewhere else, but McCurley had great deals for newer cars. I truly believe they care about their customers, and are not trying to screw anyone with a bad deal like some places. This is the worst service department I have ever dealt with. Brian is terrible. Brought my outback in with check engine light on along with several other lights. Told that exhaust manifold had cracked. Paid 1500 for it. When picked up engine check ligjht still on. Brain wanted to charge another 124 to determine why when it was brought in for that reason. Second Outback that we have had nothing but problems with. Pleased save yourself the issues we have had and stay away from Subaru and mostly this service department. These people lie to you as though you know nothing about sales. Trying to sell cars 10% or more over Kelly Blue Book value claiming they make a few hundred dollars off a 20K sale. I called them out on the carpet asking "So you pull single digit margins on sales?" And they start back peddling real fast. They claim they pay Subaru guaranteed trade in value on cars that are already outside the terms of that trade in policy as if you couldn't just Google it and check. Then when you call them out they try and say "Well we put it through an inspection and that costs us money." Sure, bet you told the guy you hosed on his trade in the same thing so I guess both of us should cover your overhead since you sell cars at single digit margins. Give me a break... read more

Absolutely the BEST service from the minute we walked in to the minute we left. No one pressured us in any way. Although my husband worked for Subaru years ago they still took the time to educate us on the vehicle and made sure we felt comfortable with the car. We had our 2006 Subaru Outback serviced here. They replaced the head gaskets which is typically needed in older Subaru's around 100k miles. All seemed well until they failed again less than 2 years later while on vacation. Of course, by that time they were out of warrantee. During our trip the radiator cracked, so we took it in to a Subaru in a different state. Turns out the cause was the head gaskets, which should have lasted longer than 25,000 miles. The service tech said the prior work we had done at McCurley Integrity was some of the worst work they had ever seen! The tech at McCurley used a die grinder to resurface the heads causing them to be out of spec. So, we couldn't just replace the head gaskets again, but had to buy whole new heads. We let McCurley's management team know, but they could care less since it was out of warrantee, even though the head gasket replacement is supposed to be a permanent fix. I highly recommend you go to a different Subaru dealership for service, don't make the same $2500 mistake we did! read more

So far I have not had a good experience with this dealership. I bought a new Outback in January of 2017 from them. When I went to sign my paperwork the numbers were not what was agreed upon. I had to fight with them to get the correct numbers for the car. The salesperson told me the oil change light would come on when the oil needed to be changed. I called at 5000 miles because it didn't come on, they told me it would come on and not to worry about it. I called again at 8000 miles and they said the same thing and that many synthetic oils can go to 10,000 miles before the light comes on. I am now at 11,000 miles and I called today and the guy told me that you actually have to have the oil change light set up when you buy the car or it won't come on - and the oil is supposed to be changed every 6000 miles. WTF?!?! Ok, first of all, why on Earth would you have to set up the oil change light? That is standard on every modern car I know of. And why are so many of their people so incompetent? My oIl is getting changed tomorrow and if my engine is *&^%ed up there is going to be serious hell to pay. read more

Third time in a row got low balled on trade in and wouldn't budge. In 2011 i traded a 2002 Mustang GT in perfect condition for a 2012 WRX. They only gave me $7,000 because that was they "wouldn't make any money". Next week they had it advertised for $15,000. Came back in 2015 with same WRX looking to trade for a new WRX and they said my car looked like it had been wrecked in the front (that car was my baby and never even hit a curb with it) and extreme low balled me. Took it to Harley Swain in Hermiston and they gave me over KBB value. Its been a couple years so thought i'd give them another shot and get my Fiance a new Crosstrek. Not only were they $1,000 more expensive then the one I'm driving to portland to get, they only offered $18,500 for her truck which is low KBB and similar trucks in area are Retail $27,000. They wouldn't even budge. They are nice to you're face but don't care about your business. Go out of town if you want a Subaru. Harley Swain was excellent and Wentworth in Portland seems amazing so far. read more
