I'm giving three stars not because this is a bad place but it just does not meet certain expectations that you expect from a McDonald's and it has nothing to do with the people that work there they are only doing their best last time they mentioned that they were short-staffed in the kitchen and that's why there was a terrible long wait so this has nothing to do with any employee but has to do with management and maybe even corporate they do have two lanes but it moves super slow in my opinion and pricing of course keeps going up you can use the app to save a little bit and earn rewards but sometimes they could be a hassle and they used to have a Play Place for the kids to play with and that's been taken down they used to have entertainment tables they also took those down and they also had refill stations for drinks and they also took those down as well this location used to be so much better than it is currently read more

Drive thru on a Thursday afternoon shouldn't be complicated, right? 1 large sprite and 1 large sweet iced tea with 4 coffee creamers. Lady handling our drinks seemed confused and the young man handling our payment didn't appear too happy. We should've come later when the other night the man helping us gave us fresh fries and nuggets for our order. Guess it just depends who's on shift to get good service! read more

Really disappointing experience this morning at this location. Around 9:30-10:00 AM, we ordered the Hotcakes and Sausage platter. When we got home, we realized the sausage was missing entirely from the order. We went back to the restaurant to have it corrected. Instead of fixing it quickly, they told us to pull to the side and wait, which turned into an extremely long wait just for the missing item. When the replacement was finally given, the manager (Lopez) was very dismissive and rude about the situation. When we brought the food home again, the sausage that was given to replace the missing item looked extremely dried out, shriveled, and had a strange smell. It honestly did not look fresh or safe to eat. I've attached photos so people can see what it looked like. Between the missing food, the long wait, the poor customer service, and the questionable quality of the replacement item, this was a very frustrating experience and the meal was basically unusable. This location needs to do better with order accuracy, food quality, and customer service especially from the smug manager Lopez it's disgusting behavior. read more

This is the McDonald's from my hometown where I grew up, and it's still the same. Definitely cleaner than most McDonald's I've been to, and the food was good. The nuggets and fries were fresh, and we came to get the 70th Disneyland toy. Overall, a good experience. read more

Specifically told them I wanted the $5 Sausage Biscuit combo. Got to the window and was charged for the more expensive $9 combo. The cashier seemed confused and unwilling to recognize her mistake. I didn't feel like dealing with drama in the morning or having the customers behind me wait, so I paid the extra $5 for the egg I didn't want. Part of customer service is problem-solving. Ordered a McFlurry which was cross-contaminated with the prior McFlurry order. This led to my order tasting like the Shamrock flavor, even though I didn't order it. A few times it's been catastrophically wrong where every single order has something missing or incorrect. It's pretty disappointing at the prices we're paying now for this food that you can pretty much count on there being a problem. Yesterday, I celebrated National French Fry Day by getting a huge serving of free McDonald's Fries through their Application Deal. I was even able to order it salt-free through the drive-thru, which I thought would be a big deal. I was able to get through the long line of cars in the single lane drive-thru and was out in about five minutes. This store was remodeled a few years ago and still looks new and inviting. Even though it was just a drive-thru, appearances are important and the first impression counts. I'll be back to this store if it's not lunch time though, as the line can go to the street on a weekday. read more

Jesus, the Manager at Arcadia, CA mall is kind, knowledgeable, and persistent at solving problems.

This McDonald's location is really a hit or huge miss. Sometimes the employees are decent to deal with and most of the time they do not care about the customer. I've gotten food from the drive thru before and I had to request fresh food because they seem to give whatever is left in the fry basket or chicken nuggets that are not good. I only go here now for iced coffees. This specific location needs to have a direct manager come in and crack some rules. Need to produce fresh food and fries, and work on employees attitudes. Here is a side note; I went to Japan Mc Donald's and they actually care about their jobs and the food is phenomenal, now only if these customs were transferred here to America. read more

Did a take-out order between 8-9am on 2/5/24. Did my best to tell some young guy the order was four sausage McMuffins with no cheese, four hash browns with a small coffee. He gave me the wrong receipt because he didn't finalize the order. He was either disillusioned or under the influence. The order ended up being four egg McMuffins and they didn't bother to check the order and the young guy wasn't paying attention to his register again and didn't process the order correctly and tried to ask me to try to pay for my order again. It's 7:20 pm and I walk from my car to the entrance and to my absolute shock the doors are locked. I look in and people are working. My second shock is a double cheese burger is $4+. A week and a half ago I had a bad experience at this McDonalds early morning mid week. I sat at the speaker in a seemingly empty drive thru line at 5:15am and waited about 10 seconds and no one greeted me so I said "hello" in a mild tone and received a "give me a minute!" In a harsh impatient tone from a woman's voice. It was disappointing, a rude attitude is not what I wanted before I ordered my breakfast and after waiting 10 more seconds and processing the attitude I received I decided to drive away instead. Ruined my mood for breakfast at this location. I understand people have bad days but it soured my opinion of this location which was my favorite on my route. Today I decided to stop by again early this morning and I was greeted very politely by a young man. He got my order correct and was extremely polite which I found rare these days. At the window I continued to receive the very kind polite service. So much so I was compelled to write this positive review. Usually people only remember the bad stuff that happens and forget the good but a young man named Morry today redeemed this location in my eyes. Manners are hard to find these days and this young man even bowed when I asked his name so I could write a good review. Looking forward to being greeted by him again on my commute to work. His professionalism has me convinced he will own his own McDonald's one day. That's the level of detail and professionalism he brought that is extremely rare at a McDonald's drive thru. Not everyone can appreciate the pleasures of a simple fast food breakfast. McDonald's has the classic Egg McMuffin, an English muffin sandwich, which came with melted yellow American cheese and a slice of ham, which added just the right unctuousness and saltiness to the bouncy, neutral-flavored egg. The McDonald's biscuit was warm and buttery and had a pleasant crusty texture on top. I added the perfectly light and airy folded egg, made from a blended yellow egg mixture. Yes, I'm aware that food scientists somewhere artificially constructed these menu items to be maximally appealing to consumers, but even fast food can be an eating experience when fully appreciated. read more

I take the pickles out of my burgers, and when I went to take the pickles out I saw a BITE MARK in my patty. It is close to my house. This is the best McDonald's in this area. I like the fry chicken very much.

I had an egg McMuffin and a cup of coffee with cream to which I added my own "Stevia" sweetener. Usually this is a delicious combination. I like the egg McMuffin's soft muffin and the overall taste of the sandwich. I also usually enjoy the coffee very much. Today? Not so much. I had them try three times from two different batches. I wasn't sure. Was the problem my sweetener? Was the problem with the cream? Or was it just the coffee? I had them replace my coffee twice-the first time with cream already inside but to which I had not added any sweetener. The taste was not great. I ordered a black coffee with cream "on the outside." This time they gave it to me from a different batch-the drive-through coffee. That tasted worse than the two tries from the "inside" coffee. So it wasn't the cream. It wasn't my sweetener. It was the coffee today! It tasted really bad. I don't know how to describe it. I like the ambience. I like the service. I liked the egg muffin, although it was a little over-toasted. But today the coffee was off. I will try again in the future with the hopes that it was just an off day. So my two star rating has to do with the coffee. read more
