So happy to see more Xi'an food popping up around SGV, especially when it's done this well. As someone born and raised in Xi'an, the flavors here felt genuinely authentic, and I already know I'll be back. We ordered the Youpo Noodles with Beef Brisket, Marinated Beef Sandwich, and Cumin Lamb Sandwich. The marinated beef sandwich was the standout. They absolutely nailed the execution, from the tender, flavorful meat to the texture of the bread. I would come back for this alone. It immediately took me back to eating rou jia mo from a street cart while walking around Xi'an, which is about the highest compliment I can give it. The noodles were freshly handmade, wonderfully springy, and completely soaked with flavor. The beef brisket made them even more satisfying. The cumin lamb sandwich was the only item I felt slightly on the fence about. The filling was good, but I personally wanted a little more seasoning and a stronger cumin flavor. The interior is spacious and clean, service was fast and painless, and there is plenty of parking in the lot. Such a great addition to Arcadia and easily one of the better Xi'an spots I've tried in the area.
Authentic Xi'an food. They just changed their menu from last year i feel like the new menu is better. A lot of the sauce have those salty and sour taste so u wont get sick of it easily. My favorite were the noodles and the fried bun with green onion. Funny enough, the chef actually came up with the fried bun snacks so it wasn't even a real dish LOL but i love it! As for the dumplings, they are SO big and the soup is slightly acidic so u dont need a side of soy sauce / vinegar. Portion is very generous and the workers are sooo friendly. Parking is in the back shared with 85 degree bakery
This was my first time trying Xi'an-style cuisine, and it turned out to be a great introduction. A friend suggested the spot after our pickleball game, and we ended up ordering a wide variety of dishes to share: shrimp fried rice, beef dumplings, lamb and beef skewers, smashed cucumbers, garlic bok choy, wide hand-pulled noodles with a mix of meats, and a large chicken and potato dish, among others. Overall, most of the dishes were solid. The only one I could have skipped was the chicken and potato dish...it just didn't stand out compared to everything else. I think this was the dish that we took leftovers since everyone else also felt a similar way regarding that dish. The skewers were well-cooked, but the cumin flavor was a bit overpowering for my taste, and it lingered longer than I would've liked. With that said, there were definitely some highlights. I really loved the shrimp fried rice and the beef dumplings, but my favorite was the wide noodle dish with mixed meats. It was incredibly flavorful and hit all the right notes. I actually ordered it after noticing another table enjoying the same dish. Honestly, their reactions said everything and it absolutely lived up to the expectation. The owner was warm and welcoming, which added to the overall experience. The restaurant itself is very clean, with bright lighting and a modern aesthetic that makes it feel inviting. Parking is also convenient, with plenty of space available in the back garage. All in all, it's a spot I'd recommend for anyone looking to try authentic flavors from the Xi'an region.
Wow, this is my first time trying Xi'an cuisine--and it was surprisingly delicious! The sesame sauce was so fragrant, and the very first bite was amazing. The youpo noodles had such a great chewy texture too. If you like noodle dishes, this is definitely worth trying. I personally don't eat very spicy food, so I probably couldn't fully experience the flavors--but I feel like it would taste even better if you can handle spice The restaurant is nice and clean, very spacious with high ceilings, plenty of parking in the back the waiter is really friendly and nice~ I would definitely come back
This spot is going to be seeing a lot more of me now that I've tried their liang pi. I've been once before my most recent visit last week, but they were out of the liang pi during dinnertime so we settled for some of their dry noodle dishes (also very good) but nothing compared to the liang pi. This is a dish I was craving for sooooo long and this did exactly what I hoped it would. I would opt not to get both the peanut cold noodles and liang pi because they're identical but the peanut one was a little more heavy (not a huge fan) and I'd recommend opting for the liang pi without the braised beef (also a little heavy and too salty). A perfect refreshing summer combo is the smashed cucumber and the liang pi - you cannot go wrong.
First of all, nice service! Love that they got a parking lot right behind. The portion is huge here. The fried noodle is so great. Cumin lamb is tasty. Beef burger (肉夹馍） is good size but not as flavorful. Price is very fair and the restaurant is very clean.
Great service, easy parking in structure, overall great experience every time I've been. Get the youpo noodle in special beef sauce. It's a flavor bomb and the noodles are super chewy. The cold noodle in sesame sauce with beef comes in at a close second. Perfect for a hot day, it's super refreshing and they don't skimp out on the beef. Dumplings were delicious as well. Never had it in vinegar sauce but I actually quite like it since you can just eat it directly without dipping in anything. Their beef skewers were also great. Honestly don't have much to critique on. I will probably become a regular.
My first time at this restaurant. My group and I ordered the following items (and my ratings for each:) 1) Beef sandwich: 3/5. A good amount of meat inside a Xian style flatbread. This is truly one of those places that keeps you coming back again and again. The kind of restaurant you still crave and can't wait to revisit. XiAn Foodie 李老三 serves food that is not only delicious, but authentic and full of soul. The handmade noodles were impressive. perfectly chewy and springy, soaking up the rich sauce. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying! The lamb skewers, beef skewers, beef shank noodles, lamb & carrot dumplings, and oil-splashed noodles are all highly recommended. Everything was tender, aromatic, and clearly prepared with great care and attention to flavor and ingredients. Spice lovers will definitely be happy here, but even if you normally don't eat spicy food, you'll still find yourself going back for bite after bite. The restaurant itself is simple yet elegant, clean, and comfortable, with the warm feeling of a beloved local spot. The service is friendly, and the food comes out quickly, creating a relaxed and welcoming dining experience. Walking in there was already a language barrier, but that is totally okay and understandable. There were only a few tables occupied and it still took our server 10-15 minutes to greet us and take our order. The beef hamburger and wrap were the same meat. It tasted exactly like corned beef but extra greasy. Oil and grease was dripping out of our food and down my hands. Not my cup of tea.

Their food is genuinely SO good! Best Xian food of all of sgv. Their burgers are to die for and they r packed packed packed with meat. Staffs were friendly and welcoming - mom and pop hospitality. We recommended so many friends and families to try this place already. Def will be back!
Located in the same plaza as 85 degree bakery. Parking is in the back of the structure. Service was pretty good; prompt and friendly. Food came out relatively quickly. 1. Marinated Beef Sandwich/Rao Jia Mo (4.5/5) Tender, marinated beef stuffed in their famous crispy, baked flatbread. The beef was perfectly seasoned and had a nice smokiness to it. 2. Cumin Lamb Sandwich/Rao Jia Mo (3.5/5) Spicy cumin lamb stuffed in their crispy, baked flatbread. The lamb was not too gamey and the cumin flavor was nice, but it was a bit masked by the spiciness, which just numbs your tongue and mouth. 3. Sesame Sauce Cold Skin Noodle (3/5) Cold wheat flour noodles tossed in sesame sauce, cucumber and bean sprouts. This is a refreshing dish to eat during a hot summer day. The noodles are chewy and fresh and the cucumber slices add a crunch factor. Not bad, but definitely, not the best I have had. I personally feel the sesame sauce is a bit too watered down, so it didn't stick to the noodles very well. 4. Xi'an-style Flatbread (5/5) You can tell they make this in-house and it's freshly baked. The outside is nice and crispy while the inside is nice and doughy. It has a very nostalgic, fragrant, dough-flavor. 5. Youpo Noodles with Special Beef Paste (3.5/5) The hand-pulled noodles were QQ, but the sauce was lackluster. They were a bit skimpy on the beef paste, which made the dish feel under-seasoned. Not worth $16 IMHO 6. Pickled Beef Shank (5/5) Super tender, smoky beef that is dry marinated. Highly recommend getting this appetizer 7. Smashed Cucumber Salad (4/5) The cucumber was fresh, crunchy, and refreshing. The seasoning did not stand out though; needs a bit more chili sauce and garlic. 8. Sauce Mixed Radish (1/5) YUCK - over marinated and super duper salty. I am someone who loves savory foods and craves salt all the time; so for me to say this is too salty, it's all the way too salty. If you have high blood pressure, definitely stay clear of this 9. Lamb Skewers (2/5) The lamb was good, but the cumin salt they put on it was also too salty 10. Imperial Mirror Cake (2.5/5) It's supposed to be a traditional Xi'an Muslim dessert made from glutinous rice and shaped like a mirror. I think it is infused with red bean and brown sugar. Overall, it was very dense and sticky + not a lot of flavor. Would not get this again. 11. Cold Wu Mei Drink (5/5) Freshly in-house made, prune juice. It's super refreshing and had a good balance of sweetness and tartness. Pairs well with the Xi'an-style meal.
I liked this noodle spot way more than I thought I would! It looked like just another noodle spot, but they really do have good noodles! We had a party of 8, but they were able to accommodate us with a reservation made in advance. Also, they are halal, so it's great for eating here with friends who might have that dietary restriction. After getting seated, you scan the QR code on the table to place your order. I shared the Youpo Noodles with Fried Eggs with Tomato and the Youpo Noodles with Special Beef Paste. Both were very flavorful, and I loved the texture of the noodles. They were perfectly chewy. We got "mildly spicy," and it was just right. But be warned, I heard that ordering spicy is VERY spicy, so choose your spice level with caution! Parking can get tricky here since there's only a small parking structure, so make sure to allow extra time for that! read more

Came here for dinner. Portion sizes were massive and the food was tasty and the price is good. Will be back if I'm back in the area. Massive parking structure part of the plaza. Apparently this place is also Halal! read more

A lovely place in Arcadia for Xi'an food and it's relatively new. Parking is in the back and the entrance is on the right before the restaurant. I don't know much about the authenticity of Xi'an food in China but the food here is very delicious. The vibe is also cozy and local. The noodles in their You Po noodles are made in house and you could see it through the kitchen window. They can do mild spice which was perfect for me. The dumplings in vinegar are really good. Rou jia mo is another signature that the server recommended to me. The meat inside was very juicy. I also really love their soybean milk just because it's full of real soy flavor and it's not sweet! The server told me they made the soy milk in house and it's just like soy milk I remembered from Asian market. read more
Noodles are super chewy and delicious all around. Very good bite on the handpulled noodles. The dumplings were also delicious with a good amount of filling inside. *Keep in mind: The service is super slow and pretty much nonexistant. The ordering pad doesn't work so you still have to order via server. They were also very distracted- my order was ready for easily 5 minutes with the chef inside ding-ing the bell so many times and I'm just watching the bowl steaming about to get up to get it myself. In the end, I did end up just getting up to get utensils myself and both servers didn't even look up/ know. read more
This restaurant is part of a well-known brand that's already famous back in Xi'an, one of the most iconic cities in China for noodles. As someone who grew up with these flavors, I'm so glad to have a local spot that brings this level of authenticity. I usually come here after work, one beef sandwich + one cold noodle is my Combo. But this time I brought a group of friends and we tried almost everything on the menu. The beef shank is a highlight: super tender and full of flavor. You honestly can't go wrong with any dish that includes it. The Mo (a beef burger-style sandwich) and the handmade noodles are all excellent. The noodles have that signature chewy texture you can only get from fresh, hand-pulled dough. If you're looking for a healthier option, try the barley noodles. They're also handmade and take a little longer to cook, but they're absolutely worth it. For dessert, don't miss the mirror cake. it's made from sticky rice, jujube, and red beans, then steamed until everything blends into a rich, naturally sweet flavor. It's very close to what you'd find back home. Another unique dessert is the fermented rice with egg, which has a smooth, sweet, almost rice-wine-like taste. According to traditional Chinese culture, it's also good for your health! The atmosphere is clean, modern, and spacious. The service is humble, fast, and efficient. read more

Li laosan marinated beef sandwich Youpo noodles with special beef paste Imperial mirror cake Egg and milk fermented rice Sesame sauce cold spicy noodle I highly recommend this place if you like the texture of a good hand made noodle, I don't like soft noodles, so this one had a perfect chew to it and super fresh. 10/10 cold and hot noodles + the best PLUM DRINK (wu Mei) I ever had. Service = AMAZING The restaurant is perfect for large or small parties, love the high ceilings and casual atmosphere. I will definitely go back to try more noodles !! The lamb one looks good too! I'm a big fan of Xi'an cuisine, so I was excited to see a new Xi'an restaurant open in the 626. There aren't many Xi'an spots in the area, so whenever a new one pops up, I have to check it out. We ordered the braised beef brisket noodle soup and the Shaanxi chili oil dry noodles. Both were excellent, but the dry noodles stood out as the winner. They were incredibly flavorful, aromatic, and packed a bold punch, perfectly complementing the wide, chewy noodles. The service was great--the staff was quick to assist whenever we had questions about the dishes or needed extra utensils. This is easily one of the better Xi'an restaurants in the area. I was in the area and craving noodles and happened to find this place. I've never even seen this place before so I was definitely excited to try. Location was super easy to find with plenty of parking. When we walked in, we were greeted with super friendly staff and the restaurant smelled amazing. With recommendations from staff, we got the marinated beef wrap, sesame cold noodles and a beef noodle soup (not pictured). They were all so delicious and hit every craving. My favorite was definitely the cold noodles. It was definitely something different and loved the sesame, peanut sauce. The beef in every dish was so tender and soft, it was awesome. I ordered the oil powdered noodle with meat sauce. Noodle was a bit too wide and thick to my liking, which i understand is a personal preference. Noodle texture was andante, and i liked that the chili powder was on the side so one can adjust the level of spiciness. Meat sauce was marinated and very flavorful. Arrived around 5 PM on Saturday to beat the crowd, as some items are limited in quantity. There was no wait, and I was seated quickly in a cozy spot near the 85°C bakery. My top dishes are the sesame cold noodles, spicy beef noodles, and beef wrap. The sesame noodles strike the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and slightly spicy. The beef noodles have just the right level of spice: not overwhelming, just perfect. The beef wrap is unique compared to other places, using chopped or minced beef instead of sliced, which makes it incredibly tender. Highly recommend this spot for authentic Muslim Chinese cuisine. The food is all super tasty, great priced and comes out fast. Decent amount of comfortable seating as well. Its kinda difficult to order through the QR so the server, so barely spoke english, so better to know Chinese, was friendly and attentive. Their food is pretty decent. I come here regularly and always satisfied. The noodles are chewy and well seasoned. Their roujiamo is delicious. First time trying the beef 泡饃 it was interesting. It was not bad. I liked the broth. If you're craving for Xi A food just come here and you won't be disappointed. read more

Noodles were awesome. Simple but fresh. The cumin in the lamb was a bit off, still tasted good. Sunday at lunch and only one waitress, things were a bit on the slow side. read more
What's up: They were doing their soft opening so we decided to come by and check out their food. Parking: Parking structure is available and shared among the nearby businesses. Street parking is also an option but there were plenty of open parking spots. Environment: Had a short wait before we were seated. They seemed short staffed since it took forever for things to get done, especially when we were waiting for the check; that took forever. What was ordered: - Cumin Lamb Stir Fry Noodles (light flavor, a bit oily) - Lamb Skewers (good) - Beef Wrap (ok) - Beef Shank Noodle Soup (ok) Yay/Nay/Meh: Meh. The place was very understaffed. There were two staff members in the beginning, but towards the end, it was mostly just one person running the tables. Food was just ok. Hopefully things get better as they get more settled. We tried Shabu Tripe, Youpo noodles with braised beef brisket, beef paste with fried eggs and tomato, and sesame sauce cold spicy noodles. The Shabu Tripe was a bit bland, so I probably won't order it again. The Youpo noodles were decent, though the beef brisket was tough to bite. The sesame sauce cold spicy noodles were great--at first, it seemed like it had too little sesame, but the staff quickly added more, and it tasted amazing. A nice spot for flavorful noodles if you go for the right dishes. read more
